Tails gave a nervous gulp. He didn't want to make Amy mad by saying "No Amy that would be bad! If the monster came then we could be captured!" So he simply avoided the question. "So what are you going to eat at the restaurant?"

They approached the beach. "Wow Amy look at the woter isn't it goreous." The cleer woter sparkled in the sun of the afternoon. "Not a cloud in the-" then he spoted a single black cloud, lights ripple through it like the thunder is traped inside. "What is that?" As it approached, it got bigger and bigger, not because of perspective but because it was literally growing.
Suddenly, when it came close, it started to dive down at them. Tails noticed what it was now. Thousands of metal insects whose lights flickered on and off. "AH! RUN!" They dove and caught them and everyone else in the sworm. They stung at his skin with sharp needle stingers. No matter how much he swatted at them, they would just keep coming. He sweeps Amy off her feet. Hunched low so that they would sting him insted of her. He runs in to the nearest building and shuts the door behind him.
Tails sets her down and colapses on the floor. "Are you ok?" He asks despite him having far more stings then her. "What were thoughs."
He looks up and sees what building they had gone in, The Museum. A human and a Bobcat peek out from behind the ticket desk. "What's going on." The bobcat says seeing the two on the floor. "That's Tails! The boy who saved Station Square, and that pink girl." The human stands up and heads over to them. "What are thoughs things." He asks. Tails back stung badly from where the bugs had hit. "Here, I'll go get some bandages." He heads back and disapears behind the corner.

Rouge decided to visit a museum to find information in the old history as to where she could find valuable jewels. Looking around and enjoying what she sees she looks through one of the windows and sees metal insects flying towards the museum. Ducking down quickly she says "What the heck. Where the hell are these things coming from?" She creeps down the stairs and to the main desk to ask what the insects are. Seeing Amy and a bloodied up Tails she looks confused. "Why is Tails all bloody? What is going on?" She says to the bobcat and human.

The human reenters with a first aid kit and calls the bobcat over to help. "They were caught in the swarm. I don't know where they came from." He explains while applying the ointmint to Tails. The cat does the same to Amy. "Rouge is that you? What are you doing here?" Tails says in a quite voice. "Ow!" The ointmint stung but he held tight.

Amy pushed away from the cat, "no thanks I'm fine." she said. She had very fiew bites and didn't want any stinging medicines. She was increadibly grateful to Tails for saving her. "those were no oridinary bugs, they looked metalic." she observed.

Tails sits up after getting bandaged up. "I know. I hope the other people out there are ok. It's lucky they can't get in here. Let's just hope that everyone got indoors." He stands and looks out the glass door at the swarm. "Why are they here. First the kidnappings and now this. I bet Eggman was the cause. But he never does anything like this. He likes big booms and not thousands of little ones."
Suddenly the cat screamed. "There's one in here!" A single insect floated in front of him. The human threw the first aid kit at it and knocked it to the floor.
"I got it!" He says in excitement. Tails heads over to the large wrecked bug and picks it up. He walks back over to wherr everyone was and sits down.
"I may be able to find out more about them like this." He pries the thing open and looks inside. Nothing. The thing was hollow. "Ha... How is this? Therr is no power source that I can see. Not even somthing to turn the joints." He looks between the two women to see if thay have any ideas.

Whats to know about this Enigmatic Being? Well, for starters, if you dont know about Shadow, then you probably dont deserve to know.
He seems to walk out of nowhere, arms crossed over his chest, a glare cast towards the odd insect. He had come at the tail end of the attack, and was curious about what had happened. With a grunt, he walks over to Tails and looks at the odd contraption.
"Looks like you have a whole swarm of admirers. Whatcha do this time Fox?"
His voice a low rumble, he didnt sound to happy. Infact, it sounded as if he belived it was going to be his responsabilities to clean up this mess, and gives Tails a Glare to let him know exactly how he feels about this.

He jumps at the sound of Shadow's voice and turns around. "I didn't do anything. They just came after the city for some reason. Anyway, wherr did you come from?" He glares at the hedgehog. Turning back to the puzzling contraption, he sees that the rest of the swarm outside was dissapating. "Huh? They're leaving?" The bugs outside disappeared in to the distance. "But why are they going? And why did they come?"
Tails opens the door a crack and peeks hid head out. "It's completely deserted." He steps out into the street and stares at the sea. "Even the waves are still." Suddenly, ripples begin to appear in the ocean as somthing rose from it.
A robot, coverd in rust. It appeared to be a hedgehog, but there were more spines, and it had six snake-like tails, each one tipped with a blade. It floated in mid-air for a minute, staring straight at Tails with its red eyes. Suddenly, it fldw as fast, if not faster, than Sonic and grabbed a ferret who was lying in the street and in a flash the ferret was gonw.
"Oh my god..." gaped Tails. He dashed back inside. "It's here!!! The beast is here! We need to run!"

Shadow smirks at Tails and shrugs. "Where do I usually come from? Wherever I want. Good enough for you?" He then heads to a window, looking out.
The fact that things where deserted didnt bother him. "Sounds like everybody has finally aquired a brain. Annoying when everybody just stands about waiting to get killed." He walks over to the doorway and glares out over Tails.
The mechanical being that came out of the water didnt impress him. he had faught many mechanical beings before including Metal Sonic. Very Little could properly impress him theses days.
"Ya, run. Let the professionals handle this." He gestures lazily to Tails. "Get the others to saftey. Not like they can fight. Ill....deal with it." And with that, he steps outside, arms crossed over his chest and leans against the wall of the building the others where in, eyes closed, waiting.

Tails nods and gestures to the other two to follow as he sneaks down the street.
The robot turned to Shadow. In the blink of an eye it rushes past him slashing his face with one of it's tails and getting behind him. It takes its clawed hands and digs it's sharp fingers deep in to the back of his shoulders.

Shadow was...unprepared to say the least. Leaning against the wall, he never thought that it would chose to go behind him. He was still reacting as the thing dashed back, and it almost felt like time was going in slow motion as the tail slashed acrost his face.
"Gah!" he grunted as blood flew away from him following the cut.
~So fast! But nothing is faster then me.~
Then the thing crashes through the building he had been leaning on. Raising a hand to cover his eyes from debry he was thus left open for the second attack. Back arching, eyes open, he felt the things claws dig into him. He wouldnt cry out, no, but a grunt did escape his lips.
~Man! I dont even have time to react! Its like I get hit before I even realize whats happening!~
Swinging his feet, he uses momentum (SP) to pull off the fingers jabbing into his back. While spinning in the air he pulls out his twin guns and rapid-fires off at the things head and body, feeling only a minor twinged from the wounds in his back. He had gone through worse.
Hitting the ground and rolling, he comes up on one knee, a sneer on his face.
"Its obvious you dont know who your dealing with. I'm Shadow the Hedgehog, and Im gonna be your worst nightmare...."

Tails turns around when hearing gun fire. He watches as the bulllets reflect off the metel body. "Oh no. He better hold out."
The robot cocks its head to one side. "I'm Lash. It's a pleasure to meet you." Lash had a chaming deep voice that you almost never hear in robots. Especially battle ones.
Tails' mouth dropped open. "That thing can talk?"
"You're a good shot, I must say," said the robot. "But my body is bulletproof." Its long tails lashed out and wrapped around his throat and arms, holding the bladed ends close to is head. "Now now, don't struggle. This won't hurt a bit."
Then Tails leaps out and punches at lash. "OW!" Tails leaps back, holding his hand in pain.
"You knowm it's a really stupid idea to punch metal." Still keeping its grip on Shadow, it claws the side of Tails' face, knocking him to the ground. "Stay down, mutt."

Shadow grunts. He wasnt to surprised that the bullets bounced off. He had only fired them off to see if they would *Surprisingly* actually have any effect. Maybe get the blasted thing to take a few steps back or something, but the creature wasnt fazed at all.
"Lash? How pleasant..." As a hand reaches up to rub the slash acrost his cheek.
Then once again it manages to get a hit off without him able to react. Glaring at the being that now had a grip on his throat and arms, he could only sigh as Tails lashed out...and rebounded right off.
"Ya, good going Tails. My bullets bounce off, so lets try something bigger and less likely to work. For a genius....." He then attempts to shake his head, then turns his gaze back to Lash.
"Im afraid it isnt going to be that easy. I dont take orders to well..." That last was said in a near snarl. Using the Inate Inertia ability that both He and Sonic seemed to share, Kenetic force ran over his body, then he learched forward in a ball, the rest of his body seemingly melding into one large razor disk covered in black spikes and red energy. It wasnt something he normally did, but for some reason pulling out a Chaos Emerald and blasting it with Chaos Energy didnt feel right.
The whirling ball of doom Should be enough to cut through the tail, or at least get out of its grip. If this worked then he would Spin-Dash right up its torso, head, and up into the air. If not, then well, there was apparently very little he could do.

Shadow twisted the tails around and around until Lash's grip was off. As the hedgehog rolled closer it held its hands out in front of it. Lash cot the rolling ball of quills and as he scratched its hands, its sharp finger cut through his skin. With every roll the cuts would go deeper and Lash would slide back more.
Tales picked him self up and watched as Lash drew mor and mor blood. What could he do? He had no weapons and his normal attacks did nothing. With a determened look he dove straighte in to Shadow knocking him out of the way.
Lash Grabbed Tails and hedbutted him knocking him uncoinscious. As the fox lay limp there was a flash of light and the fox was gon. It turned to Shadow and attempted to shlash him with its tails.
Tails awoke in a dark jungle. "Where am I?" He said groggily. He sat up and looked around. "A jungle? I was in Station Square a minute ago. How did I get heer? And why is it night?" He looks at his watch that still said 2:46. Tails stands up and walks through the dens trees. "This place is familiar. " He sees moon light up ahead and walks out in to the clearing. Giant mushrooms grew everywhere. "Mushroom hill? I'm on Angle Island."
