Rath bowed before her, such beauty was often unseen in such circumstances, but Rath was glad for the welcomed change. "That may yet to be seen, Malice never relents on his attacks unless he sees something he doesnt like, a master tactician that one is." Drifting off still confused about the whole situation, Rath snapped back realizing he had yet to introduce himself. "Im sorry I am Jedi Knight Rath, protector of the Republic." Rath spoke proudly, for an instant Rath notice something within Arden, looking down he realized what Rath picked up on. She was Force sensitive, not noticiably strong but potential was there.

Arden was quite taken aback. He read my- "You read my mind..." If the Jedi could do that, how powerful were the Dark Jedi that had them beaten down?

Rath blushed brushing his hair, sweaty hair back. "Yes, sorry, it comes second hand to me." Rath kicked the dirt around his feet embarrassed and a bit unconfortable, the last bit Arden thought rid him of his embarrassment and replaced it with contempt. "The Dark Jedi are not as powerful as one may think, individually speaking that is. Here on Coruscant they outnumber us 3 to 1 but we have several jedi on Yavin 4, more of the powerful masters that protect our temple and training grounds from the corrupt order of the Dark side. Thier weapons are often thier weakness, they blind themselves to such extent they will eventually destroy themselves, we are just waiting for the internal conflict to spark." Rath spoke anxious for Arden's comments towards his own, he enjoyed speaking of opinions and ones beliefs.

Armageddon (In front of Malice's ship) The red sand poured down like rain after the final jedi fell, Malice peered at Gene with pride, " He will do just fine" He thought walking toward the jedi shot, somehow clinging to the ebbs of life, Malice bent down to the jedi. " I told you i would crush you beneath my boot" Rising with a sinister grin, Malice slammed his black leather boot on the head of the Jedi causing a sickening crunch, blood spewed from the hole caused by the blaster. Wiping his boot on the mishappened jedi's robe Malice began entering the ship, stopping short of the doorway, he spoke grimly, " No my apprentice, the mission has just begun. Come, I have a plan to further ensure the continuance of this order." (Going into Malice's Ship, Coruscant) "Yes, my master." Gene hated saying it. He thought it was silly and stupid. Although, he did wonder to himself why he had started to say it once he saw Malice. Never before has he said 'my master' before, not even to him. Still, he followed Malice into his ship like an obedient puppy. What lies ahead for the him, Gene does not know, but the fact is it would prove to be a great perilous adventure. However, he did not like the fact he will have to go through training once again. It was already hard the first time, hopefully Gene would be faster in finding shortcuts to make the time seem less - tedious. "Where are we going to now?" Gene asked, this time without adding the 'my master' on purpose - to see if it'd effect Malice or not. However, he was intrigued because he's still a venturer, and one of his goals was to visit as many planets as he could while he was alive. He hoped that this change of path would let him succeed in this as well.

(Malice's Ship)
Malice's eyebrow raised at the effort Gene put forth to learn of him, through the small series of test that he has performed. "Master is a word for those serving another, one that is lower and will never rise above. It is a prision, much like the Sith philosophy you must break your chains. If you wish to continue and use 'Master' understand one of your potential is simply holding themselves back, it is a mental barrier." Malice spoke teaching Gene the same way he was taught, Bale on the other hand was taught differently, like a dog now that Malice thought of it, Bale was made to follow commands, Gene was made to make them. "And to answer your question we travel to Mustafar to meet Teyla, and her son Helios, the second part of my plan." Malice spoke sitting in a seat designed spefically for him, large cables ran through the seat vertical and horizontal with vapors of bacta releasing against his skin soothing his pains away, allowing him to focus his full attention on the force. Malice motioned Gene to sit across from him. Dividing the room sat a large metal table with a projector pointing toward the ships dull colored ceiling"

Arden had immediately taken a liking to Rath. "I hope it comes soon, for all of our sakes." She had used the world "our" without thinking about it, and it startled her now. She already felt connected to the Jedi. "So where are you going now?" she asked.

(Malice's ship, about to leave Coruscant)
"My apologies, my master." Gene bowed low and did what he was told, sitting across from his master. His experiment prove to be useful. Malice, like anyone who had power, did not like to think of themselves as equals, especially to those who would be learning from him. Still, Gene learned his lesson and from there on would regard Malice by 'master' when he speaks to him.
About Mustafar, it was great luck joining Malice. Mustafar was one of those planets he had planned to visit (or take over). Quietly, he waited as the ship rose from the landing platform and began it's ascent into the atmosphere. The journey and adventure truly starts now.

Rath peered toward the horizon, his thoughts suddenly torn elsewhere. "Somethings happening.... I need to go talk to my Master, Arcadius. Do you wish to accompany me?" Rath asked already turning toward his land speeder. Turning his head he began yelling. "We must hurry, thier is a great disturbance in the force!" His worried voice echoed across the plains, several other jedi began rushing toward thier transports.
(Malice's Ship)
Malice bent over the cold metalic table tapping the center inscribed point, as lights began to erupt from the middle. "This my young apprentice is a Holocron, or more better explain a collection of them." Malice spoke motioning underneath the table to reveal an intricate design holding four runed cubes which were connected to one large crystal. "It holds the teachings of the great Masters before our time, great power can be obtained from such knowledge." Malice fell back to his seat pondering on thier first lesson and which master he should choose, coming to a decision Malice began to call out the Masters name only to stop abruptly. His widening eyes first showed fear, then something more sinister. "All available Dark ones to the Hoth system immeaditly!" Malice screamed into the comm next to his chair. "We must hasten our pace to Mustafar, something big has begun."

Arden hurried to catch up. "I hope you have something better than a speeder to get us off this planet!" she shouted. It would be interesting to be on a Jedi ship. Wow, she thought, I'm really joining up with the Jedi. She never thought she'd thank her father for kicking her out...

"What is it m'lord?" Gene had noticed his master's expression changed within mere seconds. Either he wasn't happy with any the lessons he was going to teach Gene, or there is something else. Unfortunate for Gene, he has not really acquired nor really fully awaken his Force senses. Sure he may sense things, but perhaps not as strongly as his master. "Is something the matter, my master? What is it that you sense?"
Gene hates it when he's out of the circle. He HAS to know everything. The reason for this is so he'd be able to make the right choice; for if one does not have the right information, the choices he makes based on that information are mistakes. Gene hates mistakes and worst, making them himself. One may call this being a busy body, however to Gene, it's vital and necessary or else he wont be able to make the right decision.

Rath smiled punching the coordinates to the main camp into the computers databank. "Funny, you mention that. I almost lost my ship to the cutbacks, were having due to this war. The camp is located in the outskirts of the city, by foot it would take about two hours." Rath spoke as the speeder jetted off, leaving behind the bloddy war scene behind them, droids could be seen with some of the lesser soldiers to help any injured and burn the dead scatter out across the battlefield. "Arden, I do not know you very well, but I must warn you, being a Jedi is not the most safe position at this time." Rath spoke slowing a bit, Rath felt it was neccessary to give her the ultimatum. The survival rate for a jedi was rediculously low, especially for a padawan. Arriving near the outskirts of the city, the large camp came into full view beyond the large cliff Rath and Arden sat upon, awaiting her answer Rath killed the engine, and emerge from the cockipit to walk around for a minute, to allow Arden to gather her thoughts.
(Malice's Ship, Entering Hyperspace)
Malice closed his eyes relaxing the wrinkles spread across his aging face. "A power, a hungering power greater than anything I have ever felt. You my apprentice can feel it as well, you just need to identify it, thus our first lesson. Close your eyes my apprentice, relax and clear your mind of all thoughts, a feeling will appear one that you cant explain, one you cant touch, that my apprentice is the force, it moves through you, around you, in you. Grab it, manipulate it, that feeling will turn to a vision, the vision will turn to reality. Do you see it, do you feel its power?" Malice asked breathing deeply.

(Malice's Ship, entering Hyperspace)
Gene closed his eyes. At that time he was thinking about his last mission and when his master told him to clear his mind, immediately those memories went away. His mind turned black and blank. He concentrated on his master's voice, old yet strong, and felt what he said was the Force. But unlike what he said about not touching it, Gene could; well, at least with his mind. It looked like silver threads going flowing in mere space. Once it identified Gene's inner body, he went towards him, wrapping itself and flowing around him doing figure 8s. Gene wanted to see this vision his master was talking about. He asked the Force to show him what it had showed his master. The Force circled around him quicker and quicker until the surrounding inside Gene's mind changed.
What he saw was something he had never seen before. It was something he had experienced before, either. Desolate planets, cities without her people, lavish jungles turning into waterless, colorless desert. It was scary yet exhilarating. Gene believed it was his doing that did these horroable things. He heard a footstep stop behind and him and thought it would be him so he turned around quickly. To his dismay, it wasn't him at all. It someone else. He wore nothing more but trousers and a green cape w/ hood. Gene could see the muscles that were distinctly shaped and sculpted. This person pulled out a lightsaber and held it to his side at arm's length, his head lowered, not letting Gene see his face. Gene backed away slowly, holding his pistol's holster.
The person advanced quickly as Gene had never seen before and seemed to come to cut Gene down. As fast as he could, Gene took out his pistol and shot three consecutive laser bolts. Futile, before Gene knew it, his arms were cut and the person who looked liked a Spectre, came and cut him down.
Immediately, Gene opened his eyes. It had only been a vision, yet it felt so real. His breathing became shallow. It was the first time he felt actual fear. He started to pant, still not believing how quick and how deadly that person in the green cape was. "I have felt it my lord. It is truly terrifying...." He did not want to say anything else but that. He was still rattled as how futile his attack was. But then again, Gene has a new resolve. He had to become stronger than that person, he just had to. He won't let that vision come to past with its ending as Gene saw. It would be Gene that cuts that green spectre down.

Malice intently watched his apprentice, upon his awakening Malice knew what he saw. "That fear, is your power, turn it to anger, become stronger than it, destroy it, that is the way of our code. With that comes the second lesson, Knwoldge. It is an equation of sorts. If you know what your enemy knows, that knowledge is cancelled out. If you know more than your enemy the battle is over before it began. This plays into the 2nd part of my plan young apprentice, When we arrive at Mustafar, you will meet Dark Master Teyla, keeping to our secret you will not reveal your apprenticeship to me. You will learn all you can from her in the art of Poisons, and Assassin skills using the force. These things you learn I do not know, thus Bale does not know, Making you stronger than ethier of us, remember Gene, knowledge is everything." Malice ended collapsing into his breathing heavily. "There is one that stands against you more poweful than I or any for that matter, he can be a powerful ally if you allow it, his name is Specter, he is wise beyond his years learn from his as well." Malice ended, looking out the window toward the streaking stars, smiling contently Malice kept replaying the sound of the skull cracking in his mind, using it to push the fear of the oncoming destruction that awaited, for the first time in a while Malice was scared.

Arden scowled at him. He was doubting her, which, although certainly justified, offended her. "If I cared about my own safety, I wouldn't be on this blast crater of a planet to begin with. There's more than just my life at stake here; I'm going to see this through." For the second time in as many minutes, she was surprised at the words coming out of her mouth. Who would have thought that the 19-year-old kid running away from home that moning would be a Jedi initiate by the end of the day. Arden smiled despite the struggle ahead of her. This was where she belonged; she could feel the pulse of the Force in her veins.

(Outskirts of Jedi Camp)
Rath nodded, "She will make a fine warrior one day." Rath thought to himself hopping back in the speeder boosting it forward toward the camp, minutes later they arrived. The camp was deserted, except for a few soldiers loading weapons, items, and portable housing facilities on loading ships. A tall slender man with billowing green robes came striding forward smiling. "Rath! you made it, welcome back, Oh... who is this, a friend perhaps?" The tall figure spoke calmly taking in the stranger. "This is Arden, Master Arcadius, we met upon the battlefield, after the Dark army retreated. She is sensitive Master" Rath spoke introducing one another. Standing aside to allow his Master to better look at Arden. "Ah, yes. Welcome, though I wish the circumstances were better, none the less it is good to see a new face, not the war grieved soldiers I see everyday. You are Force sensitive Arden, a gift, or curse as some may view it. We are at war and though the Jedi do not draft warriors, everyone on our side helps just a little bit more, do you wish to undergo the training of the Light Side, it is very tedious, and somewhat dangerous. It is a solitary life dedicated to serving others do you feel you are ready to make that sacrifice to the Galaxy and join our cause?" Arcadius asked knowing the answer Arden would give before she spoke, He knew she was a determined soul and destined for great things, though the courtesy was neccessary and polite. Waiting for a reply Rath bowed to both Arcadius and Arden, giving Arden an eye of assurance, Rath walked past them to reacquaint with an old friend.
