Jake Jeckal yea...the whole icp may be going mainstream thing...has been kinda bugging me...when i saw the board game..i got slightly sad..it seems like their merchandising more and more....-.-...which makes me sad...when it was just the clock and shirts and hats...yea..that was kewl..but now they have blankets, and car stuff and a board game....@.@ i will say i do like the tempest...and alot of their old stuff..but it seems their music has been more "Gangsta" lately...-.- ::sigh:: ::shrug:: oh well...like funk said... "I don't really care about the music being "underground" so much as I care about the music being GOOD. If they want to go and put stuff on MTV and Vh1 and go on Oprah, that's their choice. But, I definitely won't be palling around with any of the newer 'fans'... "

" Yeeea....no internet for me...im chillin here at my girlfriend's grandma's house playin D&D with her, her brothers, and her aunt and uncle...and im using their internet as we all get stuff calculated, and written up for it...and yea..ima a transgender gaian cuz girls have more clothes..and i was bored with the guy stuff...^.^ lol

Broke a** ninja I could go on, and on about ICP going mainstream, and how thats been happening since before the wraith release...... but i think all that was needed to be said already has. stare more like since the Disney/Hollywood Records feud. ICP's been on the radar for 10 years. Who cares? Honestly, I don't care if the Wicked Clowns continue to release bad music, because I listen to Ringmaster more than anything anyway! The music that made me fall in love with ICP has already come, and the new supplementary s**t is just water under the bridge. Sure, the more crap they put out, the more tracks there are to dilute the set list at their shows, but as long as I hear classics, I'm happy.

Heh here it is obvious about it being blunt where Hot Topics stand with them. Go in around x-mass and all you see is a bunch of ICP ornaments and s**t

I feel no grief about this execpt I don't want ICP to sell out as much as other people. The only good I've seen out of Hot Topic getting ICP merchandise is that I can finally get some. This town sucks and I have to drive 30 miles to get ICP merchandise. But at least I get some.
Anyway. It does make me sad tho. In a slight way.
It's not like ICP hasn't done something is plain sight before. look at the Tilt-a Whirl video. I was in 7th grade when I saw that on MTV. Also at that time, teh only person you could get ICP albums from was a midget in town who went miles away to get anything. Now I could goto the local target and get everything. Besides merchandising is always where teh real money is.

 Like Shaggy said in a recent interview he thinks it's cool that Juggalo's without a computer who can't get on Hatchet Gear have a place they can get Psychopathic stuff. Any provider of the sweet sweet psychopathic stuff (real not knockoffs) is good in my book.

Lately it's occurred to me......
.....if trying to make it big in the music industry is "selling out", then every artist is a sell-out.
Also.....anyone who says "******** this industry" is saying "******** myself", because all musicians are part of the industry, as long as they're in the business of recording and selling their music.

I'm sorry, I don't see what the big deal is. For at least 5 years now ICP has had their merch sold in HT, now that 1 HT put a mini poster up with the Hatchetman it's all of a sudden a huge deal? Anyone who has been in there enough knows there stuff is sold in there, why would a sign on the window be such a big deal? Complaing that they're going more and more mainstream is pointless. If you listen to their music and strongly feel that way, you're just as mainstream and what you're complaing about. ICP has done things in the past and even now that has had their fans question them, but what’s the point in even calling yourself a lo/lette if you’re going to disrespect the group that you call yourself a fan of?
