"I-I got lost..." It wasnt a complete lie, but she couldnt just say that she had run away from her family and that was that. She couldnt say she ran from a buyer either, in here that was one of the greatest sins you could do.

"Thank you.." She said as she bowed. She had a place to go for now. Kiro looked at Darius and Jessy, smiled, and followed them once more, into the house. "So theres a lot of runaways on this side of the town?"

"more then you know" Darius said with a sigh as he sat down on a broken couch rubbing his brusied eye."so shall we go bring you home?" he said gettting a glass of water. The water was dirty but still drinkable.

"No!" Kiro covered her mouth after she had yelled. It was out of character for her to do it and some one could have heard her... But who would care if there was a scream of help.. Here it was nothing, and it meant nothing to anyone. "Umm, no i dont want to go home."

Archer spat some water out and coughed."sorry that kinda suprised me didn't see it coming." he looked at her and raised his eyebrow."uh and if i may ask why not." he said taking another sip. "you want anything to eat or drink."

"Umm... well my parents sold me... and i ran.. um, i have no place to go anymore.." Kiros hand scrunched up her skirt tightly. Fresh wounds were being reopened but maybe it would help the healing process. She looked down in shame tough. Her family was sure to be in more debt considering both their children had disappeared... "I cant go back to that home, so im kinda in search of my brother i guess..." A pain entered Kiros heart but all she could do was smile, and hope the pain would leave.

Darius rubbed his chin for a second then smiled standing up. "your welcome to stay with me its not the nicest place around here but everything is functional and the water is clean...for the most part and i could use some company, that is if your intrested." darius smiled again and walked into the kitchen grabbing some bread chesse and meat.

"Thank you... um is there anything i can do to help, i mean.... If your letting me stay, the most i can do is pay...." Kiro loosened the grip she had on her clothes and let out a large sigh of relief. She followed Darius , watching what he was doing and why he said he needed the company when Jesse was there. "Do you live alone? I though that little girl lived here."

"Uh.. Ok." Kiro followed Darius, wondering where they were going.. She stayed close to him though, making sure she would be safe. People would probably leave her alone if she stayed at his side and she was sure that he wasnt the type of guy that would sell her to the highest bidder. Plus, she didnt know anyone... They were all strangers.

Darius pulled a gun out of his pants and cocked it. "don't worry im not going to hurt you its a safety percausion it makes me feel like i have control over if i live or die so dont worry." He smiled and walked into the alleys again

Kiro flinched as he messed with the gun, but listened closely to what he had said. She would have liked to feel that same power, but most women werent allowed to have guns, let alone use them. That didnt mean there werent some that used them. Kiro had met a few that kept guns but now, most of them were dead.
"Where are we going?" She finally asked, hoping that the answer wasnt something she would dislike.
