::sigh:: Okay, I now get why everyone's topics are getting locked. -__-; here, if anyone reads this -_- sigh, please answer...
I'm playing Suikoden III again (last time I hadn't transferred my data from I to II and II to III, but this time I have icon_sweatdrop.gif ) and I noticed something. I don't think it happened last time I played, but well... its odd...
When the Lizard Clan attacked Iksay village in Chris's chapter 2, and Chris asks 'Jimba' for his name, he said to her in this run through the game "Wyatt Lightfellow." icon_eek.gif icon_eek.gif icon_eek.gif HE SAID HE WAS HER FATHER, AND THEN THEY BOTH ACTED LIKE HE NEVER DID. AAARGH, I think last time I played through, he did indeed say 'Jimba' as his response, but I can't remember too clearly.
Anyone else see this happen..?

It never happened to me, but to be honest, it has been a long time since I've played suikoden 3. Maybe I'll look into this further, but I can't now (I wish I had my game crying )

Keollyn I seem to be one of the few people who actually liked Hugo and his story. Ah, I still remember going under the cave and getting beat by Yuber. I actually beat him...it took me a while though sweatdrop

Radical Lulu Keollyn I seem to be one of the few people who actually liked Hugo and his story. Ah, I still remember going under the cave and getting beat by Yuber. I actually beat him...it took me a while though sweatdrop

Actually, you can beat him in every battle accept the one with Hugo vs him. The trick is to level up for me...

To beat Yuber you gotta unload a massive amount of damage on him in the fights you can win, like in the 'Ancient... (Highway, is it..?). Best thing to do in my opinion is have Hugo riding Fubar, and have some sacrificial Jizos on Fubar. Everyone's skills gotta be kept up to date, swing and damage (as well as continual attack if he has it) should be high on Hugo. Then with luck Yuber can be pummeled to a pulp (tho the only one left standing would most likely be just Hugo and Fubar like in my game sweatdrop )
Of course when you do beat him, he acts like it doesn't matter anyway, and he runs away -__-;

hey you guys.... just a question. I haven't played the game yet but I was wondering......? What is the deal with Luc and Sasasari? And does Luc like Sarah? or something??? *rocks back and forth not knowing the answer*

I had the impression that Luc was just her friend, and that Sarah was madly in love with him. Thus prompting her to be a complete b***h in the game...

From how I see it, Luc sort of raised Sarah. If that was the case, she probably has a sort of hero worship/infatuation wit him, and he just sees her as a little girl. A friend too, mind you, but still a little girl.

I've only played Suikoden 3 and a bit of 1, but from what I gathered, Luc saw that Sarah had a lot of power and used her, and that she was in love with him because by using her, she was needed? I'm not too sure actually.
