To Prepare A Room

Once again he was left with the duty of ensuring a child had what they needed for happiness. Which meant fixing up a crib, colour coordinate things, and god only knew what all. The idea was rather... let's see... daunting. Right, but at least he had started somewhat. He'd gotten things together and even shoved it into the room. He just needed to arrange it all.
And thank the lord there had been a room. Gods...
Raja rubbed his head sighing as he leaned against one of the now pale blue walls eyeing the objects to be set up. Well the crib could stay there maybe. It wasn't against a wall, but it wasn't in the middle. Just set up a few dressers off to the side... he could make it all work. Just time to get started.
Mistral was fairly amused with the whole ordeal. She'd been set on the ground in the room earlier, which smelled mildly of fresh paint. The window was still wide open to let the place air out, which allowed a nice breeze. Something the child was rather pleased with. Almost as much as she was with the doll she'd been handed. Bright red hair and a pokadot dress. She mostly liked the hair and enjoyed toying with it. As well as bouncing the doll a bit to watch how the long locks moved with the light dresses cloth. Ah what a game.
That was the topic whenever watching her guardian try to haul things around the room didn't amuse her for the time. She currently got the sight of watching him shove things back and forth, stare, then shove it right back where it was a moment ago. Such an odd behavior, far more repetative than her own actions. Oh well, it was entertaining. So she didn't mind much.
Apparently that one was done, now he was shoving the next thing. Matching white with the other. A while setting it up next to that one. A few nods. Apparently both where alright now. She still didn't get the point of it all. It just took up space. There was nothing in there, so why bother? She liked having more room to move and play with her doll.
She just didn't get the point to this stuff at all.
