LP Willow's nose wrinkled at the two. She watched them fight, for the moment she was deciding which one would be the easiest to pull off the other.
She moved switfly within distance to break them apart should this spat get any worse. She couldn't help but be slightly interested in the pair fighting.[[brb]]

DDB Sidney grinned, showing off his small but sharp teeth, as he felt the whip end make contact. That would leave the bird wth something to think about!
Perhaps it was because of his success that he didn't react as quickly, or that he had opened his mouth to say something to the tiger velvet. "Watch out Will-" But that was as far as he got since Carl grabbed the end of his whip and pulled. It was secured around his arm so that it wouldn't slip, and Sidney, reluctant to let go, found himself pulled along with it!
The tug was hard, coupled with Carl's extra strength, so it had little problem ripping the handle from Sid's grasp. But not without pulling Sid along with it first. The momentum and force caught him off-balance, causing him to end up spralled at Carl's feet.

Donna the Vixen As far as he was concerned, he'd won. Carl wrapped the whip securely around his arm and leaned down to brush his claws across the features of the one who now lay heaped at his feet. He didn't draw blood, but rather made to inflict one of those god-forsaken cardboard-esque papercut manner of wounds that hurts like a sucker, but isn't nearly deep enough or bloody enough to be whined about.
He would have succeeded if Willow hadn't moved so quickly over, causing him instead to merely trace the cold cheek with the tips of his talons.
Oh man...he wasn't about to take the fall for this, even though he knew Willow was by no means stupid enough not to have already figured it out. "Eh heh...Willow," The tones hessitantly came, "How have you been? I didn't expect to see you again quite so soon."
(( No wounds this time, but I'm sure that makes Sidney uncomfortable. xd ))

LP [[back sorry about that]] Willow snarled at the two. "Give me that whip." She said holding out her paw glaring at both of them. "Yeah right.... Carl shut up." She was clearly ready to give those two a peice of her mind.
"What in the hell were you two thinking? You could've harmed the plushies." She pointed to the shelves that held the plush toys. "Now what do you think iris would have done about that?"

DDB (( Last post from me guys. Sorry, must sleep. But if you leave me a couple of posts I can reply once in the morning before I go to work. ))Sidney couldn't believe he'd gotten himself into such a position. Hissing and glaring, he waited for a blow to come. A swipe with those talons? Or maybe a punch with that strength behind it? But nothing like that happened, instead Carl dragged one of those razor sharp claws across his cheek cruelly. Not deep but making it sting terribly so that Sidney had to clench his jaw shut.
Fortunatly for him Willow came to his aid, or maybe not... the plushies?
Sidney lay shocked for a moment before scrambling upright. "You... you were worried about the plushiess?" He asked in disbelief. "We weren't anywhere near them. And they didn't get a bowling ball thrown at them! Didn't you ssee that? I could have been squasshed into the floor if I hadn't been sso quick!"
Really? Was that all Willow was worried about? The toys over him nearly getting squished, twice, by this murderous eagle?

Oh man...Carls crest fell slowly, signifying he knew he was in trouble. Rather than make the situation worse by arguing, he acted swiftly in unraveling the whip carefully and dropping it next to Sidney. He was fortunate in the fact he hadn't hit any plushies durring the struggle, but he didn't want to have to explain his motive any more than was neccesary.
"There. You have your silly whip back, so get up and stop scuffing the floor with your scales. I'm sure Iris won't want to wax over you."
Like that would make him look any better...Inwardly he cringed, casting an eye towards Willow again as though presenting the obviously answered query of 'How much trouble am I in?'

LP [[YEs D sleep well]] Willow looked crossed at both boys. "Well had to two not gone and brawled maybe I'd been worrry about you to as well." Her eyes narrowed as she picked up the whip and held onto it. She was going to make them work this out. "Besides Iris loves the plushies and that makes them protected so no more fighting in the shop. If you want to fight I'm sure LP will be more than happy to let you fight in the garden where there can atleast be someone to keep you two from killing each other."
"Enough, Carl apologize. You're talons do as much damange to the floor as sid's scales." Her eyes narrowed, "And I will be telling both Donna and Dee what you have been up to. I'm quite sure they would like to hear about this little spat."
Well maybe she wouldn't but this was to priceless to pass up. Her tail flickered in irriatition at the two. How dare they fight in her sancutary.[[I'll log all this in my journal ~-^]]

Sidney glared at Carl. His scales were smooth and didn't scuff anything! He didn't say anything though, just dusted himself off. Calmly he went to reach for his whip but Willow had picked it up first. "Hey..." He started.
He folded his arms, not liking this one bit. First she doesn't care that it was all the bird's fault. And second, she'd taken his whip! That was his!
"Well none of the plushies got hurt. See? We didn't even touch them." Although he was pretty sure Iris wouldn't like anyone fighting in the shop. "Yeah well maybe someone needs to be watching him all the time, he's always trying to kill me!"
He had to suppress a grin when Willow ordered Carl to appologise though, but it didn't last long. "Tell Dee?" He paused, looking at her. He could try explaining to his mum but fighting would probably get him grounded...

Carl glared back, crossing his arms. Sidney was the culprit! Always sneaking around and insulting such a perfect being...he was jealous, that was all!
Seriously- was the snake blind? He was well built, well mannered, well kept, and well....awesome! Who wouldn't love some one like that? Only a cold hearted snake. "The plushies have nothing to do with this anyways..." And they didn't - they knew their place around him, and he treated them kindly enough for it. "And I am NOT trying to kill you - because if I were, you'd be dead already. But if I must apologize - I'm sorry you're such a sappy, paranoid, poor judge of wonderful character."
"And I will be telling both Donna and Dee what you have been up to. I'm quite sure they would like to hear about this little spat."
Urk! That shut him up for a moment. Charming as he was, Donna had expressly forbidden him to fight unless in pure self defense...and he doubted this would sound close enough to it to get him off the hook. He'd never been PUNNISHED for something like this before! Inwardly he cringed...imagining what his mom would do to him.

Willow glared at Carl. "I said apologize I didn't say insult poor sidney." Her arms crossed she shook her head. "I'm dissaponted in both of you." She muttered turning the whip in her paws looking at it.
"Trying to kill you eh?" Looking at Carl she shook her head, "You weren't were you? You know how low that'd put you in the feeding order?" Her tail flickered, "I'd imange that would put you on several people's bad sides too.... orr rahter a certian person. Which right now you two aren't on my favorites list right now."
Her tail flickered, "Atleast until you work it out like civil and sane velveteens."

"You wissh! It's not ssso eassy to kill me." Sidney hissed back. Willow might be there to stop them fighting but he could still defend his dignity. "Why do you keep trying then huh? The firsst time I could have believed was an accident, except you attacked me afterwardss. And then again today!" He flicked his tongue at his so-called appology.
Well now Willow was getting the idea about this Carl! Sidney drew himself up. "I doubt he knowss how to appologisse." He mused, keeping his gaze fixedly away from the eagle. "On the three previouss occassssionss he'ss tried to take me out he hasn't once appologissed. But then, I guesss you wouldn't if you were trying to kill ssomeone."
"Yeah, a certain persson beng me! I can't say I find it helps my judgement of ssuch a wonderful character." He stopped and looked at Willow. "But what have I done? He sstarted it. It was sself-defence!" He grumbled. It wasn't possible to act civil to an insane velvet.

...The lengths he went to to prove Sidney wrong. Carl took a few steps forwards, very close to Sidney and gave him a finger of 'Hold on just one minute' before storming off and retrieving undeniable proof of his innocence.
The ball.
To the others, the ball would appear to be moving on its own as he pushed it from behind, completely covering him before it came to a stop before Willow and he stepped out beside it, giving exagerated gesture to make it perfectly clear. "I was NOT trying to kill him. I couldn't SEE him because..." The bird looked nearly fit to cringe and implode as he said it with clenched beak. "I. Am. SHORT. Too short to have seen him and known I was aiming at him."
Oh he was on a roll now. As he'd originally done, he shoved the ball towards the couch and watched it come to a stop, precisely in the place Sid had once lain so perfectly content. He followed the ball once more and climbed up the couch, then stepping upon it and plopping down, his claw extended at Sidney.
"Ha! There's you're proof. What now, Snake?" Not that he'd apologized yet...or really made much more of a point than the fact the incident was indeed an accident. The bird cared not and tossed his head, crown comming up in full told-you-so glory that only some one who hated to lose more than anything could have."I believe you owe me an apology for accusing me of plotting murder and soiling my good name and if you must have an apology, than I'm sorry I had to embarrass you infront of Willow."
(( Carl is so full of himself that if you poked him with a compliment he'd probably explode into little birdy pieces. xd ))

Willow looked at Carl. "OKAY THAT IS IT!" Her arms crossed she took sids whip and handed it back to him. "You hold that." She grabbed Carl by his ear and and shoved him into a corner.
"You will stay there until you're not so Flaking Full of you're self." She crossed her arms. "I don't think you realize the servity of this issuses." Her cold stare turned into a frown. "ANd I can't spend wasting my time to try and sort this out. I HAVE more important things to do. I need to figure out how to get the ghosts to stop being restless."
She looked at sid. "ANd you, you should know better than to let him push you're buttons." Her arms crossed once again. "Next time he starts up something ingore him. It's not worth you're time to bother with a fellow like that."
"Neither of you make friends by fighting, and neither of you will have any friends if you two can't get along. At least I know I won't befriend either of you unless you can provew to me you two can behave." She shook her head, both of these two were wrost than nayati.

Sidney watches him come up close. Surely he wouldn't try anything with a witness here. But it seems he just wants his attention. Watching his demonstration, Sidney could see that Carl obviously had no vision behind the ball. It was rather amusing to see him finally admit a weakness though and made Sidney hold himself a bit higher. He was a good couple of inches taller than the bird.
"Seemss like you have trouble sseeing me alot of the time. That was your excusse before too wasn't it? Ssure it wassn't becausse I'm so dull and boring?" He mimiced Carl's insult in a sarcastic tone. "And no way am I appologissing! Not after you deliberatly attacked me after your sso-called 'accident'. You could see me perfectly well when you threw that ball at me."
But whether he was going to appologise or not, he didn't get the chance as he watched Willow take command. He was surprised by that and almost didn't realise he'd gotten his whip back in the process. Quickly he clipped it back onto his belt in case Willow changed her mind.
"Yeah, it'ss very seriouss! You could be - huh?" Willow had turned to him now. "What? Yeah, well... I know it'ss not worth it... But he jusst..." He rubbed his neck and looked at the angry feline. Did he really want to be on her bad side? Probably not. Not if she had ghosts hanging around. And she looked pretty mean when angry too. "Hey, I have nothing againsst you Willow." He said in a much more quiet voice.

The claw went through. He had no ear, but that didn't stop Carl from doing as told for the simply fact he did NOT want to have to fight Willow. He did manage a glare in Sidneys direction though, and rather than shoving his beak into the corner, leaned against the wall in quiet, brooding contemplation of how best to handle this and keep his reputation in tact.
What if Trea found out? Or Chastity? It was bad enough Willow had seen him at his worst.
They might hate him if they knew...leaving Sid and Willow with more blackmail material than he cared to have laying around. All he had on them was...well...Nothing on Willow. He liked her, when she wasn't yelling, and all he had on Sid was his irrational fear of birds - but that was common knowledge.
He'd have to find something better than that...but certainly not right now. The mental image of an attacking Willow did not a pretty picture make, and he cringed slightly as it went further into the ghosts attacking him as well.
It seemed all he could do now to defend himself was mutter, just loud enough for Sidney to hear "You didn't have any problem with fighting when you tried to whip me."
