There's only three you need to know of:
Yae Sushi at 2050 Semoran Blvd. in Winter Park. It's in the same plaza as that German restaurant. Distinguished by their cluttered interior and the fact that they serve gator ******** sushi.
Gizmo Sushi is also in Winter Park, at the intersection of Semoran and University in the plaza behind the China Garden (?)... well, across from where the Taco Bell is, at any rate. Notable because they're located right next to a comic shop and a boba tea house, so's you can geek it all up any given day. Grab a comic, have a roll and get some funky-tasting liquid dessert afterwards.
Finally, there's Saito Sushi on 17-92 (or Orlando Ave. to the more "local" of the locals), right next to the Regal theatre in the Winter Park villages. They're open earlier than the other two restaurants and have a great bento lunch deal.

CrazyRob Kiss in Digital There's Ming Court [that may be Chinese, not sure] and the ... something steakhouse. Both are on I-drive. Could it have been Kobe Steakhouse? I don't know about if it's on I-drive, but there was one on route 50 that was supposed to be good, but it burnt down and they're rebuilding it near that same location it was at (IIRC). And I heard P.F. Chang's was good...but that might be Chinese...I really don't know for sure. But, there is a place around the corner from it that's Japanese (IIRC), but I don't remember the name. I think it's in Winter Park. dramallama Ming Court is delicious, all of it, the food, the walls, the waiters... now I'm hungry. Kobe steakhouse... isn't that the place that sells hundred dollar steaks?

They do have hundred dollar steaks, made out of Kobe beef, which is supposed to be super special. Apparently, it's made out of cows that are raised only in one area in Japan where they feed them Sake and massage them every day. eek How is that supposed to make them taste better? Is a happy cow a tasty cow?

As for restaurants, there's one in Waterford I always go to. I can't remember the name of it though. It's pretty new I think.

Uhm, Wazzabi in winter park. It's a tad expensive. Over off of kirkman, by universal studios there's a place called Ogami that's pretty damn good. =3 Also another one by the Florida Mall called Izziban, and one down conroy rd from Ogami called Fuji Sushi. I don't think Fuji or Izziban has a hibachi grill, though. Lastly, Rangetsu on I-drive has really good sushi.

I have a few more:
In Longwood, you have both Bayridge Sushi and Sushin situated within a mile of each other. Bayridge is good for lunch deals and has this tasty Seafood Soup going for it... erm, Sushin has great rolls and a fairly robust selection of booze.
Sorry, I just really love that soup.
Anyway - for the less frugal, there's Amura in Lake Mary. Save up for a month or two and taste the opulence. However, the atmosphere's all you'd be paying for so for the more pragmatic of sushi fetishists, a trip up International - the one in Lake Mary, not the tourist corridor - will bring you to Samurai Sushi, which holds the distinction of being the only sushi restaurant I've been to that sells Ramune.
One more thing: I frequent the Trader on Colonial quite often (going there tomorrow, actually) but as of yet have never set foot in any of the noodle shops near there. Are they worth bothering with?
