"D'ya see a flat rock anywhere? That'd be easier..."

Scanning the rocks around them, Lia immediately checked several off the list of possibilities. A lot looked just too big...and the smaller ones were too round. Not spotting one immediately, she picked up a smaller rock first.

Cautiously, she poked the sea urchin with it. After all, maybe Mr. Spiky was sleeping? That could be why he hadn't moved to assist (or refuse) them...

And then promptly yipped in surprise, and dropped the rock, when the needles all converged towards where it had been poked, before slowly going back to their prior positions.


"Yes, just be grateful for that. Although, I don't really have to worry about it now - Lia's updraded to an actual bed."

Honestly, the only thing the crib had made certain of was that Aurelia didn't roll out of it; it hadn't taken her long past learning how to crawl, to figure out how to escape it.
