She brushed a hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear casualy as she pondered the best way to respond.
"If you so chose, I personaly like to think I have enough Pudge gromers here to eat an army should I need it. Not to mention my skud."
She pushed her foot against the Skud's rump as she mentioned it. The skud in question grunted a responce out.

He started laughing once again and he would have fallen from the saddle if he hadn't been holding onto the reins. He calmed himself down and dismounted Budha and looked over the animals in their cages and the Skud that was laying on the grass. No offense but I do not believe any of them would last long in combat, and your Skud seems to lazy to be of much help. I'm Jedit by the way, and my skud is BudhaTo enhance Jedits point poit Budha barked in the other skuds ear

The bark itself startled the creatures who had just barely calmed down and they began to chew on their cage bars again. Rui sighed in frustration at the offending skud. Just when they had gotten over that godess. She smoothed her hair back mostly to calm herself and let off some steem as her hair was so pinned in place by the beeds. Now she would never get any sleep with this racket.
"None taken, I usualy don't prepare for battle when going to market or for that matter when going anywere. Most men are more inclined to drool than fight, if you ask me"
She told him in a way that might have been insulting if she hadn't said it in such a calm and level headed manner.

Jedit shot a glance at Budha and the Skud lowered its head like a child who had just done something wrong. Reaching out Jedit scratched him behind the ear and begain checking his gear making sure everything was secure and in its proper place. Like I said my names Jedit, and you are? His tone was calm though the way his ears twitched and tail twitched it could have been picked up he was slightly annoyed that she hadin't givin her name after he had introduced himself.

"Rui"
She pirched herself back on the cart, this could take a wile as things were going. The fact that the newly agitated animals had to deal with another occupant in the cart didn't help their moods, the ones closest to her started up with renewed vigour.... no stopping them now.... too bad. She sighed again and resigned herself to buying the best room she could afford when she got to town, hopefuly a really nice bed would make up for sleep she was sure to loose over this.
"Were are you headed?"
She asked him, apparently he wouldn't be swayed by what arguments she had to offer and was going with her. And as they say, if you can't beet them, join them!

I don't know really, this is the first time I've ever been outside of Lirye. We just choose a direction and started walking. Well Budha has done mose of the walking, I've done a lot of riding. So where are we going Rui? He lept lightly into Budha's sadle and grabbed the reins truning him around to face the same way as Rui's cart. He smiled now, not the humorus smil he had when he was laughing but a wolfish smile, he was getting a chance to do what he did best, and getting a chance to see the world.

"Natura, usualy merchents such as myself get in easy. But with your warrior esque, I fear we may barely make it past the front gate...."
She Said, pausing only momentaraly to shout a command to her Skud so he might get started again, it grudgingly did so and pulled the cart with all the enthusiasum of a ball of slime. Whatever, Rui wasn't in a hurry. She continued:
"The city is in a state of constant lock-down, and has been ever since the war started. Pudge grommers are in high demand as rarely anything gets in or out of that city... the garbage piles up fast."
She explained as they made their way slowly twards the city.

Jedit looked over his gear, and then clenched his hands feeling his rippleing muscles move benight his skin. He then looked over Budha, with his own massive size and array of scars. Looking of at Rui he shrugged his massive shoulders. Well since you say a war is on, then it would be odd for a merchent to have a guard. So for this point on consider me to be your guard.

Rui shut her eyes tightly and screwed up her face in silent frustration. what did this guy live in a cave or somthing!? the war was over! Even her skud seemed to be laughing at his ignorance with a silent smile.
"The war I speek of has long since passed. But if you insist I see nothing wrong with a gaurd for a merchent."
She told him in the calmest voice that she could master.

Does this war have a name or do you just call it the war? My people are in constant battle with our sorroundings so can you be a bit more specific please. Jedit would have felt embarresed if he had known what it was she was talking about. Digging his heels into Budha he started off at t slow pace forward, down the way they were facing. Well are you coming?

(( I'm assuming that your asking me to move faster, as I started moving two posts back))
"The war of the gods."
She told him. She really didn't care to elaborate more. It was one of those things were if you didn't know, you shouldn't ask.
At the request for them to move at a faster pace Rui got off her cart and jogged up to her skud, still moving with all the enthusiasum of sludge, and gave it a whack on it's rump with a whoop. The skud responded with a kick in her direction, missing by a good foot, and picking up the pace to a more tolerable speed.
Rui got back on the cart and caught up to Jedit.

Thank you, we would never get anywhere at that pace. He started examineing the things in Rui's cart noticing the only things in there were either extremly cute or extremely ulgy. He then examined her Skud i twas healthy and well developed if not as large as Budha. Slowing Budha down to a pace that kept him besides Rui. So what got you into the animal trade?

Rui pondered weather or not to answer, it felt like a waist of breath so she quietly urged her skud forward. It occured to her a second later that she probably shouldn't be ignoring a tigeral with such a short temper. She pondered how best to respond, wile waisting as little breath as possible. This tactic probably made it seem like she had paused to think quietly weather or not the question was worth answering.
"It came naturaly to me, probably much like fighting came naturaly to you."

Jedit stopped Budha and thought as he started to climb off his back deciding he needed to allow his own legs to carry himself giving his friend a break. He adjusted his kilt once he hit the ground making sure everything was in its place before he cought up to Rui and her cart tieing Budha's reins to the back, even though his mount would follow him. Taking his shield from Budha's side he strapped it upon his back. Starting off at a jog he cought up to were the drives seat was. Well Rui, I never thought of it that way. You don't seem to like me or wish to talk to me. Now why's that?

Rui sighed and looked at the sky, once again a waist of breath. And once again, not wise to ignore a short tempered tigeral. So she pondered the best responce for a moment. Since the responce came faster this time it didn't seem as rude as it was thaughtful.
"I have no problem with you... I just don't.... speek to many more people than those who want a bargen."
She told him, carefuly picking each word so as to not come off rude. So translated;
Rui wasn't a social creature.
