[.Psycho.Doughboy.] thedarkonecommeth Also at the end there is a reference to Cloud and Squall. In the play after the final battle a line is spoken, "No cloud, no squall shall hinder us" by, I think, Zidane, while hideing under the cloak. They might just be talking about the weather. >.> I mean Cloud is a given, and a squall is a heavy a** windstorm It was direct reference to the other games. FFIX was an homage to all the other games and made reference to them all at some point in the game.

Yes, the line can be seen as literally relating to meteoric events, but it is also a reference to the two main characters of the previous games. ((gods, that sounded pretentious)) Isn't one of the shops in 9 called "Cloud's Something or Other"? Yeah, been a loooong time since I played 9. Never noticed the ref to RE, but that certainly made me laugh!

Also, i case no one realised this, in FFT, when you do propositions, if you have the right class doing the job you may get a treasure. There treasures are called Materias. I've only discovered 4 though, the White, Red, Blue, and Black Materias. The thing is, I don't know if there are other to be found.

Heh I like it when they put little references in other FF games. Like in FFX-2 the kid "Shinra" was talking about how he was researching how the planets life force could be used as a power supply to run cities that would never sleep. Kind of reminds you of Midgar does it? 3nodding
But that's cool. I'll have to remember those tidbits when I finally get my hands on 9.
