To be practical... I think it's a nessecary evil, and it sucks. It really shouldn't happen, but under the current circumstances, it has to.
Maybe they should compensate somehow. Free candy? gonk
On a somewhat related note, I read a story about a woman who was delayed for a long time becaues her infant son's name was on the No-Fly list.
It's unnessecary, stupid things like that which we really need to eliminate. scream

I agree that it is wrong and a embarassing, but the fact of the matter is they are going to do regardless. It just takes one person to do "wrong" (I put that in quotations because people differ in their belief in 'wrong') and it messes it up for everyone else.
Example: The Dirty Buisness Brigade is to the Dresden Dolls as the Dead Heads were to the greatful dead. They differ in that the brigade performs and the Dead Heads followed. Anyway, The Dresden Dolls are on the true colours tour and of course the Brigade followed. Well a brigader went somewhere he wasn't supposed to go and knew he wasn't supposed to go and go the entire Brigade bumped from the tour. We can go to the concerts, but as ourselves not as a brigader.
It's like that.
It takes one person in a group to do something "wrong" and it's ruined for the rest of the group.
