But it makes sense that she wouldn't know much about writing in roumaji.

はい。She's just types it as it sounds to her as many beginners do.
I'm having a hard time remembering everything I learn. I wish I didn't have so much schoolwork cause I think it's because I can't study as much as I should. xp

You trying to correct a native speaker? xp But it makes sense that she wouldn't know much about writing in roumaji. romanji wa muzukashi desuyo. nihon no kana wa yasashi desu. iv learnt to read write japanese in japanese. when i read romanji it is strange for me. sadly my computer only see question marks and i can't get the japanese installed crying so im forced to attempt romanji stressed

俺の名前は杏は〈アンバー）です。
一年間で日本の福島県で住んでいました。
日本の文化が大好きです～
カナダに帰ったら、まだ日本の文化と日本語を勉強します。
でもね、俺の日本語はまだまだ悪いな。

Vajra B. Hairava You know, she is actually Japanese. You trying to correct a native speaker? xp But it makes sense that she wouldn't know much about writing in roumaji. All of my japanese friends wrrote terrible romanji. Tsu would be Tu, Chi was Ti, etc etc. it was funny though, when my friend Tsugumi wrote her name as Tugumi. I called her that for a long time after rofl

（あ～、Politeな日本語が難しいですね sweatdrop 。。。毎日、大阪弁で話しているんですから。）

All of my japanese friends wrrote terrible romanji. Tsu would be Tu, Chi was Ti, etc etc. it was funny though, when my friend Tsugumi wrote her name as Tugumi. I called her that for a long time after rofl OMG MY BOYFRIEND DOES THAT!!!!!!! xd He translates what he's saying literally, so often he writes 'ha' for the particle 'wa' 'tu' instead of 'tsu' 'ti' for 'chi' etc. It often takes me a second to figure out what he's said. (Which doesn't help me, considering Japanese is his first language and it's my third. I swear he does it on purpose to confuse me. xd )

I called her that for a long time after rofl This is old as poop, but I think technically the sounds are /t/ and /s/ for ち and し, but palatization makes them well, palatize to those sounds. The tsu tu thing is a different process, but still just allophony.
