That attitude saddens me crying It is probably one of the primary reasons men have lost their respect for women. A lot of women these days want to be just like the men (they think it makes them "equal") they want to dress like them, work like them, be like them. It has caused them to lose sight of their role in life...Both men and women are equal, we just have different roles.

Lots of girls who aren't used to men being thoughtful and polite tend to misunderstand, and think that somehow you're making fun of them. Just let them know you ment no offense and you were just trying to be polite. You might get funny looks, but it's because she's confused and still not sure about your intentions. Every little bit helps though, so don't give up! 3nodding

As I like to say, Chivalry is only as dead as you make it. I'm completely for this guild! As soon as I can donate(I'm working really hard to get one last thing), I'm gonna. It's funny. Whenever a guy is mean or disrespectful, I start yelling and shouting about equality and the like(sorry! habit. I also threaten to strangle them.... stare ), but when they're nice and chivalrise, I blush and stutter. Dad tells me to become a lady, but I don't want to because I never know when the "lady" will be taken advantage of. Long live chilvary!

I do agree with the clothes... all children and teens of both genders, mainly females, are wearing skanky clothes... just the other day there was a 10year old girl wearing a bikini... I was wearing a whole piece! Okay.. it was disgusting.. even if you can't picture it (which hopefuly you can't). But I am against the respect for woman. We should be treated equil! I hate it when a guy throws down his coat over a puddle for me to walk over, or bow's as he holds the door open, or lets me go first in like repeating ''lady's first''... I just hate it.. we are just like men, can do the same things as they can.. why do we deserve more respect. Some woman in the country should just learn how to fight back so that way they can show their hubby that their not going to be pushed around. I just have a strong opinion about every being treated equil... and please don't treat me different because of my gender... seriously, it just pisses me off... and I won't be nice back. xp blaugh

true but only a few are picked on (in my school it's the LDS girls) and I'm one of the ones that picked on in addtion It drives me nuts that they are saying things behind my back I rather they say it to my face not my back (and it better not be about my dad or there will be a fight)

I have to agree with what everyone else has said.

Also, not many people are aware of this, but in Romania, boys and girls prostitute themselves for even just a little cash because the economy there is so torn up. Humans are just losing all respect for themselves and selling their bodies just to survive for the day. It is wrong, even if you want to go to desperate measures, your body is still a temple and having somebody else violate it just to have a little extra cash to buy something to eat so you won't go to bed hungry is still wrong. I'de rather let nature have it's way with me and let me die starving than to let some complete stranger ruin me. It's just sad that now, 10 year old girls are getting pregnant, boys don't respect women anymore, and no one is doing anything about it. The world, in my opinion, has gone insane.
