Aki looked a little shocked, "who else in your tank is expecting? you would have told me if they found someone." he places a hand on her cheek looking a little worried because he did not think she was eating more then any other that was from his tank.

"huh? Expecting? No, 'Riel & 'Lesca & Aman & I all recently evolved and..." His hand was on her cheek and suddenly her eyes went wide as things suddenly gelled and Aki's worry made sense. "Oh! Expecting! Aki I'm expecting! We're especting! Parents!"
Turning her head she kissed his hand and smiled briliantly into his eyes... just moments before the rest dawned on her on what she had not figured out sooner. She blushed, lightly tanned face red with embarrassment even to her ears. "oh... how'd I nearly miss it? You must think I'm such a dolt, Aki."

Aki was soo confused now, "But, Topanga, you are the one who told me. I though you knew." he placed a hand on her head and petter her hair, "you said so before you went to sleep, you said that you though our children would be coming soon." he nuzzled her neck, "I would have never known if you did not say something. I would never have thought you where a dolt, far from it. It is both of our first time being parents... How can i expect you to know what it is like? Even I who have been around expecting beta would not have been able to tell that you where." he kissed her neck lightly trying to make her feel better

Deep blue eyes looked confused. "I did?"
Her arms wrapped lovingly around Aki's waist as he nuzzled & kissed her neck causing her to smile. Something Elanorriel had said that had not made sense at the time came to mind. Not surprising, since many things her tanksister said did not make much sense to Topanga innitially. "Is this...? Maybe this is what 'Riel meant when she said before I left that I already knew I had that which I already wanted? I thought she meant you..." The evolved clownfish female blushed, running her hands across her lover's back in a caress. Then Topanga squeaked happily. "But children! And I must have known! Somehow. But I couldn't tell with evolving enough to think I knew..."
She grinned sheepishly, seeing her foolishness and finding the humor in it but still feeling very much the dolt for not seeing sooner. Topanga wondered if anyone besides Elanorriel had figured it out. "I'm glad you don't think I'm a dolt..."

Aki Nuzzled her a little, "yes you did."
When Topanga wraped her arms around him he held her back. A smile on his lips about the story, "She might have known. you did say she seemed to act the eldest and the wisest. And you had to know, some part of you. Maybe just with getting use to your evolving you did not understand. Changes happen with both then both at the same time... well," he kissed her forhead, "it is understandable."
He pulled out a little, "Is there anything you need? are you still hungry? maybe some sleep?" he wanted to make sure she was find before he finally settled down.

Topanga pouted a bit at being held back but did not really mind. It was sometimes hard to have a real conversation when too close to Aki. She smiled again at his words and when he kissed her head. Shaking her head while looking up at Aki sideways at his question.
"I really can't think of anything I need, love." Very lightly her hands slipped from his back to just touch fingers above his waist where Topanga brought them around to rest on his hips. "And I'm not at all tired..." But I wouldn't mind getting tired. Violet hues in her deep blue eyes flashed with a grin. Oh but she loved this beta!

Aki smiled glad she was taken care of. he brushed his hand down her face and gave he a light kiss. "I am happy that you are doing well though."he saw the flash of color but did not think it ment what she was thinking. He thought it was more of her motherly glow.
"Well, I got fresh weed for the nursury, and got that all set up. I also moved thigns around hoping that when they hatch there will not be anything in their way." he paused thinking about all he had done in his 'omg i am going to be a dad!!!' moment, "There is a lot of food gathered around. and extra blankets in case you get cold."

Even his light kisses made her sigh with happiness. Her eyes went wide with surprise & adoration. "Oh! You've been busy, Aki!" Again it sounded like "love" even as the female kissed his nose. "Seems you thought of everything! I can't believe I slept through it all!"
There was a moment of guilt to not have helped but then her eyes sparkled. If Aki had made everything ready, there was no reason not to...
Topanga tipped her head coyly at her lover taking one hand from his hip to grab a sea-berry and seductively offer it to him by setting it against his lips. "Mmm... just don't you forget to eat, Aki. And the blankets will be nice... when I don't have you here to warm me..."

Aki smiled, "It is understand able, Evolving and expecting as you are you needed the sleep and rest. ntohign to feel bad about. I am sure it happens to other beta."
Aki ate the berry that was on his lips and kissed the tips of her finger. He started to nuzzle in to her hand moving more on top of her then sitting beside her, his tail entwining with hers, "any more food?" he said kissing and nuzzling her hand

Her blue eyes shone with all the glow of a beta in love on top of a motherly glow. She was shivering from the feel of his lips on her fingers...
Topanga had to reach with the other hand as he gave attention to the one she had been using. "mmm... Maybe." She brought the bite closer, teasing in a very tantalizing way. "Why? Are you... hungry?"

Aki smiled in to her hand. nodding a little. He then started to kiss her wrist, down her arm to her elbow then shoulder. He went up one side of her neck to her cheak then gave a longer kiss on her lips. But then he moved away kissing is hway back up to the other hand that had the bite it in. He nibbled that out nuzzling her hand. Hopwing that answered her question in all the ways it possibly could.

Her eyes rolled back and her lashes fluttered across her face, a happy little gasp slipping from her mouth as she felt her body tingle at Aki's ministrations. Topanga took a few deep breaths before she could speak, opening her overbright eyes to catch her lover's. Oh yes... Aki had certainly answered her question. With her newly freed hand she plucked another berry with trembling fingers. Her eyes gave a sparkle of delight as a particularly delicious idea came to mind. "I certainly don't want you to go hungry..." The clownfish murmured huskily before setting her idea to reality to the full enjoyment of both involved.

"they days go by and the eggus arived. The happy parents hussled and bussled over them proud as proud can be. This story takes place when the eggus hatch and the parents are fussing over the three little girls and one boy."
Aki smiled as the fries where starting to learn to swim. it was soo cute watching them bump in to things, though he kept having to grab one now and then so they did not hit somehting harder, "careful little one." he said smiling and catching one of them so they did not hid the corner of the table. he set the one free and looked over at Topanga with a smile, "seems we will have our arms full, huh?"

Turning to try and get one of the frys out of her two toned hair Topanga caught her at last and with a bright smile untangled her daughter and returned her to the "play area" with her siblings before turning that same happy smile on her lover. "Yes, but I wouldn't have it any other way, would you?"
Love and happiness flashed in her blue eyes. No... she would not trade this for anything.

"the only thing I would change is to have more of them every where" she said smiling. He was very happy with his family and how things where going about. He brought Topanga's had to his lips and kissed it, while catching the only boy from swimming twards the mouth of the cave, "Son, No going outside till you can swim with out turning upside down" though he was talking to the fry his eyes where on topanga flashing her a smile telling her that he loved her
