Okay, so I finally took the time to read Fotamecus. I laugh and grin. I also think Laren's accidentally used that....As for me, it reminds me of one of my favorite books of all time (heh), Thief of Time by Terry Pratchett. It follows the adventures of the History Monks, who make sure that the right things happen at the right time. Also Susan, Death's granddaughter, who is my personal favorite recurring character. Okay, one of them, anyway. Anyone who's read it, feel free to talk to me about Sweeper, Lobsang, and Wen the Eternally Surprised. The spinners remind me very much of this Fotamecus thingummy/servitor/entity/whatever.
