That's called prolapsing. At least it wasn't female parts turning inside out and coming out the back.
I used to show lambs, and they had to have their tails docked (cut off) for cleanliness reasons. If they are cut too short, it can pull on muscles as it heals. Often, it can cause rectal prolapse (intestines out the butt) or the other kind. It ends up happening when they have a really bad coughing or sneezing fit, causing the muscles to contract, and....-insert lovely mental image here-
