The new ones just dont seem to follow the overall Tonnami feel. If that makes any sense.

Yeah, Toonami isn't the same anymore... I wish they'd get back to basics when it comes to a good line upo of anime. Just a cool line up of creative, action-packed, drama filled anime. 3nodding

I think they need to combine the old school classics with an equal line up of good new shows. Like DBZ, Gundam anything, Ronin Warriors, and then have Bleach, Naruto, and other new shows.

Yeah... but then they wouldn't aire Ronin Warrios cause it's too old, they won't aire Gundam because of it's "violence", and as for Bleach it's already part of Adult Swim. scream Stupid anime pirates... blocking Gundam from their lineup...

Lol Yeah. Seriously... just cause Warner Bros. decided to add more shows onto Cartoon Network instead of their failing "Kids WB" (which I think is cancelled now) - stressed

I think you are right. The WB is now the CW and I dont think they have any kid programs on.

Actually the Kids WB is still on saterdays but other than that I am not sure I dont watch that channel much except for one or two shows. However we have strayed away from the topic. Gundam is not that violent compared half the shows they have on Adult Swim.

Have you guys ever seen uncut DBZ? They aired that on toonami and I think they still might...Uncut DBZ is way more violent than Gundam ever thought of being

I found some videos from Toonami's "golden age", back when Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing, and Dragon Ball Z ruled the air. Here's one, from an old promo commercial they ran called "Dreams" Dreams-Tansho S.E.

damn, i miss the old toonami..the midnight run was one of my favs..(hmm..what where the other ones)
there was
-reboot
-thunder cats
-DBZ....(the entire 300+ episodes... xd )
and at least 3 other shows that the other people haven't said...i just can't remember...

The midnight run was my favorite of all forms of toonami. I also liked it better than adult swim. Adult swim just doesnt show enough anime. They always show it during their latest time slots.

I'm just not watching adult swim anymore. I'm just gradually slipping away from it. Why? The power of the Internet! I can watch Japanese episodes of my favorite anime at my leisure! *off topic* I loved old Toonami way better. I admit, I was into Yu-Gi-Oh, but now it is so gay. No plot development, and not enough blood. Mainly the blood. DBZ needs to make a come-back, the un-cut version. with no episodes of pure talking, just pure fighting. That would kick a**!
