Kisho paused briefly, though he didn't look back. After a moment he murmured, "Yes. I have a pack to return to." She wanted company? He wasn't the best for that. His family did not even choose to come to him for companionship. So why would she want anything from him? He saw no logic to it, no possible reason, so he continued on. Her fate was her own and she'd leave her to it. He had things to do.

Hamaki watched as he walked away. She held her tongue, though something inside her wanted to ask him to stay with her. It was the puppy in her that never had the chance to grow up. A puppy that was scared for herself, but msotly for the souls growing inside of her. With a deep breath she turned and started walking away from him, focusing once more on finding a siutable place to give birth and raise the pups.
