"Hungry?" He cocked his head to the side. He briefly forgot what she was talking about. "Oh! No! Food isn't for me. It's bein for my friends." He nodded enthusiastically. "They eat a lot. Even more than me!" He gave a loud and hearty laugh.
"It's important to keep them happy and full." His tone became slightly more serious, though he still had a grin on his face. "It'd be bad for them to get hungry. Might even eat me!"

Raising an eyebrow at Dieter's last comment, Grete finished folding her last article of clothing, and gave him a bemused smile. Certainly, he must work with animals. As far as Grete knew, Cirque didn't have any cannibals. Or at least, if there were some, they were keeping that bit of information secret. Laughing, Grete responded with, "Well, your partners in crime sound a little scary." She stood up slowly, and opened a dresser drawer, and put the folded laundry inside carefully.
"You can put your bags down over there, you know. I'd hate for you to have to hold them the entire time you're in here."
Despite her best efforts to get all of her laundry neatly into one of her dresser drawers, as soon as everything was put back in, the drawer wouldn't close properly. Sighing in exasperation, Grete stuffed the clothes far into the drawer and closed it with such a force that seemed surprising for it to come from the small woman.
Smiling triumphantly, Grete walked towards Dieter. She stood there, just the tiniest bit close with a smirk on her face, as though she knew that she was being somewhat of a tease. Still with a smile on her face, she glanced down at the floor and then just as quickly, her gaze flicked back upwards to the eyes of her guest.
"So," she said slowly, "What now?"
