I be a supah-stah! - Term Unknown"Look! Look at!" Ting squealed, striking a pose on top of the table. Flicking the brim of her hat up, she smiled to Adani, her little fangs giving her a childish smile. It seemed she had gotten into the Halloween costumes, or a rhinestone factory, because at the moment she was wearing a hot pink pimp hat and rhinestone covered catsuit. Adani nearly fell over laughing, this woman was just too much. Earlier, she''d been worried about how hard it would be to explain to the people when she went back, but now, she wasn''t even sure she wanted to go back. "What happened to you?" She asked, managing to snag a few breaths in between gales. "I think, I thoud maybe I cheer you up!" Ting chirped, striking another odd pose. Alright, so if Andreas came home early he''d probably nag her about walking on the furniture again, and he hadn''t done that since the couch fort incident. Adani winced, clutching her stomach, "Apparently the baby doesn''t like it when I laugh like that." Simple, but still meaningful, it was one of the first times she''d actually refered to the baby as a living thing.

Where does this go? - Term Unknown"This confusing." Ting sighed, staring at the pieces of white wood spread around in front of her. Eventually, all these peices would become the baby's crib. Well, if she ever managed to get it put together that is. Adani looked over from her spot on the newly built, alright, not really built, more.. Glued together, rocking chair, trying to think of how to help without standing up. After all, last time she tried to help Ting tried to pick her up to carry her back to the chair, apparently she should be keeping off her feet. "Maybe you should read the instructions?" She offered, thinking it would have been the first thing she should have done. Ting shook her head, "Bah, long an' boring." Adani pouted, "Well, maybe C goes with R, and I with B?" Sadly enough, the younger woman actually tried that before she realized it was a joke, a little action that cause Adani to break out into laughter. "Not funny!" Ting whined, though she was starting to crack up herself. "Seriously, why not try A to B?" Adani suggested, wondering why the girl hadn't thought of it before. She'd started to warm up to this one, not so much to her husband, he questioned things too much. But this girl, she saw the fun in everything she did, plain and simple. Ting nearly screamed her joy when the two pieces locked together easily, "It work!" Who'd have thought, it followed the alphabet. "Now, where C go?" Adani just shook her head.

I'm fine, I swear - Term Unknown"Daaaaaanny" Ting whined, a bit impatient with the woman that currently stood by the stove, cooking some sort of meat, "Wha' docdor say abou being on feet so much?" Adani looked over, feeling a bit frustrated herself, "I'm fine, it was just a suggestion. I'm getting tired of just laying around all the time, I want to help." She reached over, turning the heat down before lifting the pan up and gesturing to Ting, "I made dinner." Alright, so she was weak. Ting sighed, her instincts wouldn't let her refuse a meal, especially not one that smelled so good, "Alrigh. Bud you need to rest at leas some." The larger woman gave a little victory smile, "Fine. But first, you have to taste this." True, she'd rarely ever cooked, she'd always been working too much, but hopefully this hadn't turned out too bad. Andreas had been working a lot lately, making a little extra cash just in case something went wrong. Aside from Adani's consistent protest to reveal much of her past, the two women had apparently become friends.

What an... Interesting present - Term Unknown " Mrrrrew." Ting looked up, confused by the noise. She looked over to her husband, reading silently, then toward Adani, who now lay dozing on the couch. How odd, they didn't seem to be making the noise, so where was it coming from? " Mreeeeww." There it was again! Rising to her feet, she scuttled over to the kitchen to try and find the source. She got down on her knees, shuffling around on the mahogany floor. Andreas looked up for a second, slightly confused by her actions, "Ting, honey, what in the seven hells are you doing?" She looked up with a little pout, "Tryin to fin' noise." There it was again! This time a bit louder, " Mrewwww!" There! There it is! She yanked the cupboard open, revealing a mottled brown kitten in place of the key Adani had been kepping there. Ting picked it up, staring at it with a bit of an evil smile, brought on by her instincts, "Well what we have here? I think to call you... Hateya!" By now Adani had awoken, and made her way into the door frame, "I'd hoped I would be gone by the time that one appeared, but I guess not, it's good to see you, Hateya is it?" The little kitten simply mewed.

Extreme Babysitting - Term Unknown"Sooo.." Adani trailed, staring across the counter at the drooling child. Honestly, this was one of the reasons she was giving up her baby, she was horrible with children. But somehow, she'd ended up stuck babysitting this little... Thing. "What's your name?" She asked, laying her head in her hands. The child sucked up the bit of spittle that had been running down his chin, "Ack!" She looked a bit confused, "Ack? But Ting said your name was Jack?" He nodded then quickly shook his head, this was no fun, she gave a quiet sigh, glaring at him in mock frustration, "You're not going to make this easy are you?" The boy stopped for a moment, then flashed her a wry smile, as if answering her question with a firm Not a chance. She stood slowly, trying not to look away from him, Ting had told her this one was "Clever like foxie fox". Seriously though, he was just a little baby, how bad could he be? Plucking him up out of the high chair, she held him at arms length, frowning a bit, "So why do they say you're bad? You seem kind of boring to me." She tossed his blanket onto the counter, giving a little laugh when she realized his jumper was black as well, "How cheerful." Jack made a face, trying to bite at her nose. It was twitchy, kind of like when his itched it got all twitchy. But she wasn't scratching, so it wasn't itchy. Weird.. Maybe he could find out why. Adani matched his face, but set him down as she realized she was getting hungry, "What do pigs eat?" He growled, pointing angrily at the symbol on his blanket. He wasn't no piggy, a boar, a big tough vicious boar, not a squealie little piggy. She watched him curiously, apparently not getting the message, "Pork? You want pork?" He started to shake his head, then realized what she'd said and nodded purposefully. No more milk, this one would give him meat! She smiled, it was a tiny victory, but a victory none the less, she'd found something he liked. Two Hours Later~"Come on! Catch the pork!" Adani yelled, holding back a laugh as she tossed a chunk of pork at the child. Jack growled and snapped at it, but he'd already eaten enough that instead of his usual flopping he was more.. Rolling, toward the food. He made a gurgling noise, wiggling his fingers toward the newest hunk in hopes that it would come to him. Instead, the big woman picked him up and took him away from it. He pounded his fists on her, his fit only punctuated by a loud burp. Adani frowned, no matter how natural that was, it was still kind of gross. She set him down on the couch once inside, glancing up at the clock. Well, there was still about an hour left, and she couldn't just keep feeding him. Maybe he'd like something else. She scrounged around the house, completely forgetting that she'd left him by himself. Jack stayed put for all of four seconds after she left before climbing off the couch and wandering off to find something better. About twenty minutes later, Adani suddenly realized what she'd done and rushed back to the living room. Oh no. He wasn't there. Ting and Carrie were going to KILL her. It had only been a few hours and she had lost him. Oh geez, were the windows open? Locked? PAIN. Gah, stress was bad for her. She sat down for a moment, but didn't really relax, a fact that simply annoyed the child in her belly. What was she going to do? " Gaaab!" What! Where was that coming from? It sounded like.. The air vents?! How had he gotten up there? More importantly, how was she ever going to get him down. " Bwaaa" No, he wasn't in the air vents, there would be more of an echo. He was near one though. So all she had to do was check all the vents. In the house. Up and down the stairs. This was going to be rough. By the time she'd finished checking half of them, Adani was honestly starting to get a little more worried. She brushed her hair back, ears flinching at the touch. Strange, she'd almost forgotten about her ears. And how much her feet hurt. She just had to be logical, logic solved everything. Wait.. Was she starting to.. Care what happened to this angry little brat? Damnit. No matter what Ting said about youth being in your heart and blah blah. She was still mentally too old and too pregnant to be stressing herself out so much. Ding. Click. Oh no! They were home! Oh what now, wait, perfect! She'd pretend he was napping, then find him while they were doing something else. She rushed down to the door, once again ignoring the sharps pains in her ankles, and greeted them with a smile, "Welcome back." Ting flattened one of her ears down against her head, looking Adani over curiously, "What happen? Smell meaty." Oh no, she was still covered in barbeque sauce from earlier! "Ah. Nothing, nothing at all, I'm just a bit messy I guess" She quickly lied, not paying attention as Carrie went to put their coats in the hall closet. In fact, she was kind of zoned out as Ting babbled to her, that is until Carrie spoke up. "Jack! What are you doing in there?" The blonde girl lifted him up out of the closet, revealing an open duct as she did. Adani looked mortified, that was only a few feet away the whole time! Jack grinned at her for a split second, then returned to his usual task of chewing on Carrie's hair. His gaurdian shifted so that she was facing Adani, smiling cheerfully, "He wasn't any trouble was he Danny?" Adani started to rant, but stopped herself, instead returning the smile and lying through her teeth, "None at all, he was a perfect little angel."

What's in a name? - Term Unknown"So.." Adani started, then stopped herself, not quite sure exactly what she'd been trying to say. That seemed to be the norm lately, forgetting things. She hadn't told Ting though, the younger woman always seemed to fret about every little thing, this wasn't important enough to make her worry. "Ah?" Andreas asked, picking up the question before his wife even processed it. With a little smile of reassurance, Adani pieced together a sentence, "I was going to ask if either of you had picked a name yet? Like, whether it's a girl or a boy." Ting piped up a split second faster this time, "For a girl say?" Adani nodded. "Isabella!" Ting yelped, spoken over a few seconds earlier by Andreas with, "Isabella!" From the look on both of their faces, they hadn't really spoken about the decision, but were pleased that they had agreed. With a bit of a confused look, Adani decided to try it again, "And if it's a boy?" Once again, the two spoke at the same time, Ting was just a shade quicker this time, "Kuan-Yin!" Though with a little more enthusiasm, Andreas shot his idea, "Miquel!" Ting pouted, turning her little mind tricks to her husband, "But, I wou' want son to be religiousie nam!" He shook his head, "Miquel is a good strong name, Kuan-Yin could be his middle name?" With a little whine, she agreed. He would have to make up for that later, "Alrigh.." ~The names~ Male: Miquel Kuan-Yin Medina Female: Isabella Marie Medina

Welcome to the world little Isa - Written by AndreasWell, Adani went into labor late last night, and gave birth to a beautiful little girl this morning. She's light skinned like her mother, but her hair seems quite a bit lighter. I'm not sure about the color of her eyes, Ting hasn't let me close enough. She's already spoiling the poor pup, went shopping for her the second the doctors took her away to be looked over. There wasn't anything wrong with her, nothing they can tell yet that is, they just wanted to check everything out because she was a bit small. Adani seemed annoyed by that, well, that the extra weight she was and still is carrying was from eating wrong and not just a big baby. She was right about one thing though, it was a girl, little Isabella Marie, Isa for short. Ting seemed to expect her to cry, she had her fingers in her ears for nearly a half an hour after Isa was born. But it's weird, she never did start crying, not after the first minute or two when the nurses were cleaning her up. She likes to squeak a lot more, and I think she's even tried to laugh. I guess that's better than crying and screaming though. Right? Adani is going to stay for a little while longer.

Farewell AdaniWell, the time had come. As much as everyone wished it wasn't, it was time for Adani to go home. She had called in to work and gotten an extra few weeks, but they would be suspicious if she asked for even more time. So, she had to leave. Ting stood at the door as Andreas walked Adani to her car, holding the little Isabella in her arms. She was crying, not because she hadn't gotten her way with Adani staying, but because the woman had told her not to call, not until Isabella was older. Something about keeping this a secret. Adani certainly looked different now, she'd been working hard jogging and exercising with Ting to get back down to her normal weight. Now, donned in a black suit and white blouse, with her hair all curled, she looked years younger and much happier than she had when she first arrived. No one talked about what the people back at work would think, it was a taboo subject, but if they went by appearances, they would simply think she spent a few days at a spa. She had called to have a car service pick her up, not her normal service, they would ask what she was doing here, and so, with a final wave, she got in to the black town car and shut the door. Andreas walked back to the door and waved with Ting as the car drove away, letting her stay there for nearly twenty minutes after it was long gone. Finally, he put his arm around her and squeezed, "Come on Ting, how about we go inside?" As if answering for her, Isabella squeaked and tried to climb up to her new mother's shoulder to rest there. Everything would be fine.

I like Isa - Written by TingAndreas is little mad with me. I was suposed to right this times ago. But I forget. Well, Isa became two monthes old a few times ago, and we got her a cake. It was pretty, chocolate with wite and porple icings. And Andreas's mother sent a present for her. It's a pretti gold cross neckilace. She not quite old enuf to where it yet, so we keep it in her room for now. She liked the way it glimmer though. And I found her faverit sugar treet! Rootbeers! Andreas say I shouldn't give her caro-bana-ted drinks when she still this little, but it doesn't hurt her. I don't think so. I should ask someone. She doesn't cry a little much, she giggles lots though, it's funny. I like it if she giggles with me, I got lonely at home when Andreas is working. And Danny isn't hear to keep me comepany. I thinking I will take her swimming soon. Andreas' Note:Ting is doing well with her spoken English, but she still needs to do some work on her written English. Isabella seems to understand her gibberish well enough.

Swimming with the... Puppies?"You will like this," Ting brooded, toting Isabella against her chest, "It too cold for outside swimmings, so we swim inside today!" Isa squeaked cheerfully through her scarf. The infant was bundled up as if she were in the arctic, though it was nearly 75 degrees and her mother was clad in her usual jeans and a belly shirt. She was barely visible through the layers of purple and pink fleece, further proving that Ting was overprotective. She even wore a little poofball hat with the strings tied carefully to her jacket. In Ting's mind though, you could never be too careful. They took the subway across town, Ting loved to sniff all of the people and Isa seemed to enjoy it too, then got off near the cathedral Andreas liked them to attend every other week at the least. Ting wasn't interested in salvation today though, instead, she turned her attention on the brightly colored building across the street, making her way down to the corner before crossing so she wouldn't get in trouble for jay-walking again. The YMCA was the perfect place, they had a nice big pool, and plenty of other kids around for Isa to play with. Andreas stood outside with a duffel bag over his shoulder, leaning up against their car. He was still dressed in his suit, having come straight from work, but he didn't seem to mind the wait. Quite the opposite. He smiled when the two came into view, jogging up to them to give Ting a kiss on the cheek. She stopped him before he managed to open his mouth to ask what had held with a cheery, "We take shortcut!" Isa squeaked loudly at this and giggled a bit, remembering all of the lovely, and not so lovely, smells from the way over. After a few minutes of chatting and Andreas commenting on the way Isa was dressed, they all headed inside to change. Ting had gone shopping especially for the occasion and had gotten matching suits for Isa and herself. Her's was a simple lavendar one piece with white piping around the sides and a little white flower on the chest, while Isa's was identical, but for the addition of a short white ruffled skirt attatched to it. They moved a bit slowly, and found that Andreas was already waiting by the shallow end of the pool. He beamed when he saw them, speaking out his pride in a way that seemed to embarass Ting a bit, "Well, aren't my two girls just the loveliest girls in the world?" Isa cooed and waved her arms at him, eager to be let down to crawl and stumble toward him on her own. When she was finally let out of her mother's grasp, she tottled over to the side of the pool and gurgled for Andreas to pick her up. Not wanting to upset Ting, Andreas snagged a little floating turtle seat and placed Isabella carefully into it, then struck up a little game of peekaboo, dunking himself underwater and then springing back up. Isa squeaked and giggled with each burst, obviously amused by her father's antics. A few minutes into this game, Ting lost interest. It didn't make much sense for her, because he was just coming out of the water and going back in, so she climbed out of the pool. This didn't interest her much either, so she ran down to the deep end, got yelled at by the lifegaurds, and did a swan dive off the high board. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't very aerodynamic, and so she landed with a splash and a smack. Andreas cringed, that had to hurt. It didn't seem to bother her much though, instead, she just broke the surface with a gasp and smiled through the curtain of dripping white hair that hid her face. Paddling, she came back to the shallow end, pushing her hair back in soaked strings when she got to water shallow enough to stand normally. Isabella clapped and cooed happily, kicking her feet in the water. She would have liked to be out of the turtle thing, but daddy seemed to want her to stay in it, and daddy knew what was best for her, so she just wiggled around in it, cheering her mother's silliness on. Stepping back into knee high water, Andreas smiled, "Bring her over here Ting." Careful not to knock the girl out of her safety turtle, Ting pushed her through the water until her little feet touched the bottom. When Isa realized this little wonder, she started moving herself around, pausing every few seconds to flash one of her parents an ecstatic grin. Watching was making Andreas fidget. He wanted to take her out of the turtle and help her try to really swim. So, that's exactly what he did. Without saying anything to Ting, he'd catch hell for that later, he scooped Isa up and kissed her forehead. She gave an array of happy squeaks and squeals, grabbing for a hold on his dreadlocks. She wasn't very strong, but her tugging did hurt a bit, so he walked them out into water that was just shy of his hips and lowered her down into it, keeping a careful grip on her waist as she half dog paddled, half climbed his arm around. Ting started to protest, but instead she climbed out so she could watch and dry off. A few people made faces as she went by, and eventually she was stopped by one of the lifegaurds that had yelled at her earlier. "Um. Miss?" The teenager quirped, voice cracking a bit as he wrinkled his nose, "I think you and your family should leave." Ting blinked, not sure what the problem was, "Ah?" He swallowed hard, "Um.. You smell like wet dog." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buckling Isa into her carseat, they wouldn't take the subway when they could use Andreas' car, Ting gave a little giggle. Unable to hold back any longer, Andreas burst out laughing as well, joined shortly by Isa, who didn't know what was funny, but liked to giggle. Andreas was the first to be able to compose himself and started the car, turning to smile at Ting and Isa, "Maybe we should wait for summer, outdoor pools have nice breezes." At this, they all had another good laugh and headed for home. It had been a good day, even if it had been cut a bit short.

First Word - Written by AndreasIt's amazing, I never thought having a child could be this much fun, I thought it would be nothing but stress, but I guess I was wrong. Ting had to go to the doctor today, she tripped and tore one of her earrings out. It was bleeding, and she doesn't trust surgical steel, so she's went to get antibiotics. So, I was home with Isabella all day, and it was actually a lot of fun. I think Ting had been trying to teach her to talk, but that's like a lead weight trying to teach a hawk to fly, so I figured I'd give it a shot myself. And she did it! After only a few hours, two or three maybe, she could say daddy! She's such a smart little angel. I think I'm going to go looking for books for her. Right after I get her another toy bunny. The last one Ting got her turned out to be alive, and it's gotten itself a name, Ariae. I think Isa might end up spoiled, but that's alright. She deserves to be spoiled for being such a sweet little pup.

Shopping for a SweetieGrasping her mother's hand, Isabella walked at a rather slow and clusmy pace, but she was walking, and that was enough to make Ting giddy. The Crested was insanely proud, swinging her other arm back and forth. She hadn't learned to walk until she was much older than Isa was, and this little one could already stand and almost walk, all on her own. "Maaa?" Isa cooed, pointing to a rack of little overalls. Ting looked confused, picking up a pair, "These for boys Isa!" The pup's ears drooped, they looked comfy! Putting them back and looking around, Ting grinned, "We find you a pair for girls Isa!" She scooped the girl up onto her hip and headed for the girl's department, keeping her eyes open for overalls. After browsing through nearly the entire section, and picking up a few pairs of little jeans, shirts, and a few dresses, they finally found overalls, and both let out a squeak at the same time. The first few pairs were nothing special, just plain denim, but the last pair was made of light, faded denim with rolled up cuffs and a purple bunny face on the chest. The buttons were round and metal, easy enough for Isa to do up by herself when wanted to dress herself. They were adorable, just like Isa. Giving the pup a kiss, Ting smiled and the two headed to the front of the store to pay for everything and call Andreas to tell him they would walk home.

Andreas took Isabella to the library at the agency to hear a few stories read. The stories didn't end up being very interesting, but the company certainly was. Andreas had a long talk with a nice young woman named Elysia, and Isa took right to friendship with her son Ari. The two seemed to get along fine, even playing a bit of a strange game, and Isa keeps asking her father when he'll take her back there.

Meeting Erin and Caleb - To be ContinuedQuote: Andreas pushed Isa toward the agency in her little purple and white stroller. He was gaining himself a few odd looks, it wasn't every day you saw a man dressed in a pinstriped suit with white dreadlocks and wrap around sunglasses playing perfect daddy. True, he didn't look like his personality would dictate most of the time, but that came with working in that lion pit of business. Isa wasn't asleep, just warming in the bright sunlight that was present for the first time since she remembered. Every once in a while, she would giggle and wave her hands out in front of her, saying hello to a random person walking by. She was friendly, they'd learned that much, and she never seemed to be upset, maybe that would be a good thing.Andreas turned down off the sidewalk and headed for the agency front doors, taking his sweet time lifting Isabella out and folding up her stroller before he opened the door and walked in, looking around to see if there was anything going on. This was, after all, where he would come to find out any information he needed, and he needed the name of a good preschool, Isa would be going in a little while, and he wanted only the best. Quote: Still quietly wondering how he got to play Mr. Mom for the day, Aiodhan padded leisurely down the sidewalk. His messenger bag, which also served as a diapar bag of sorts, was slung over one shoulder, though with the rate at which Erin's energy level was increasing, he doubted it'd be there for long. The little toddler, tired of walking, was now riding on her father's back. Happily enough, she had left his wings alone thus far. Only the bag strap seemed to be a target for her tricks. "Berrrrrrrroowa?" Caleb babbled, his speech still very incomprehensible and sounding somewhat muffled where he was cradled upright against his father's chest. Full and very contented for the moment, the boy had now moved up his hierarchy of needs to require something new. He needed entertainment about as much as Aiodhan needed to put Erin down. The sight of a familiar building made the dragon-man pause for a moment. The adoption agency... yes, he remembered that place. He had not stopped by in awhile. Ah well... might as well see if any of the old crowd was around. He could use some company, as well as a chair. Heading straight for the door without a second thought, he slipped inside, careful to pull in his long tail before the door snapped shut on it. He had had too many experiences with heavy doors before. "Oooooh, fwend!" the toddler on his back squealed happily, and before Aiodhan could protest, the girl dropped off his back and landed on all fours with typical cat-like grace. Tail waving high in the air, Erin toddled over to the others in the lobby. Quote: Upon spotting the strange tailed girl, Isa waved her arms and wiggled herself out of her father's graps, shakily waddling toward her. She made it about half way before falling onto her butt. Wrinkling her nose, her ears drooped and she sat there for a little while, but never started crying.Andreas seemed a bit startled when she wiggled loose, but he calmed down a bit when he noticed the new man carting two children. He lifted his shades up onto his head, showing a tired smile. It wasn't Isa's fault he hadn't been sleeping, well, not directly. Ting had been keeping him up at all hours of the night raving on about how wonderful the little girl was and how quickly she learned. Now, he knew all of this, but he wasn't going to shut Ting down, so he'd just have to catch up on his sleep when she was out of the house. For now, he put on a strong front and nodded, "Hey there." Quote: Sensing that her new playmate had mobility difficulties, Erin scampered the remaining distance on all fours, sliding the last few feet before plopping down in front of the sad-looking girl. "Hiiiiiiii!" she cooed cheerfully, squirming into a comfortable sitting position, legs splayed out to other side. "I Aaaaiiiriiiin," she drawled out with much more drama than was really necessary. "Greetings," Aiodhan replied cordially to the other man. Spotting an open armchair, he settled himself down into it, dropping his bag on the floor beside him. Ahhhh... that was better. "I'm guessing that's your daughter," he said, gesturing with his chin at the girl on the floor with Erin. In his arms, Caleb was starting to become rather restless, so the dragon-man turned the boy around and sat him rather carefully in his lap. "There... better now?" he asked the infant, rewarded for his efforts by a happy bounce and coo. If this was the worst Caleb could do for the moment, Aiodhan was more than satisfied. The little boy wasn't trying to gnaw on his shirt collar or use his tiny wings to get airborne. That, as far as his father was concerned, was a definite plus. Quote: Isabella looked confused for a moment, then, sensing that she should respond, decided that she should draw her name out as well. With a bit more difficulty than the other seemed to have had, she touched her chest and said, "I Eeeesssaaaa"Andreas smiled, looking over toward the two girls, "Yeah, her name's Isabella Marie." He paused, realizing he hadn't introduced himself, "Sorry, I'm Andreas Medina." It took him a moment to realize that the man had dragonic features, and when he did, something Ting had said clicked in his mind, "I think my wife Ting might have met you before." Quote: Erin giggled and clapped her hands. "Eeessaaa," she said, pointing to the other girl. "Aiiiiiiiiriiin," she added, pointing now to herself. Yes, it all made perfect sense. "Eeeessaa play?" The catgirl's gaze drifted toward her father's bag. She knew he had something to play with in there. "Isabella... pretty name. That's Erin." Aiodhan nodded his head in the direction of his half-feline daughter. Yes, Erin was quite the odd thing. For a toddler, she was becoming remarkably proficient in speech, and her motor skills were improving as well. Were it any other child, he would have been in ordinately pleased. Because it was Erin, he was more than a little concerned. When Andreas introduced himself, Aiodhan remembered he had neglected to do so himself. Oops. "Ah.... I'm Aiodhan. And yes... I think I remember Ting. After meeting her, I never could call Amyla 'short' anymore," he grinned, gray eyes twinkling with mischief. Caleb, bored with the conversation going on, snatched up his tail and immediately began to chew on the end of it, much to his father's dismay as the dragon-man attempted to extricate the appendage from the boy's jaws. Quote: Isa sqeaked happily, she liked playing, especially with her kitty Hateya. This girl had a tail, but it wasn't a doggy tail, that made her a kitty then? She'd have to find out, daddy had told her to be extra specially nice to kitties, so it was needed information. With that little train of thought, she pointed, "Kitty?"Andreas laughed a bit, then remembered that his own height was similar, "Yeah, she's a little thing." Looking back toward the two girls, he laughed again, "Isa's mother is a littler taller than Ting, but not much, she's looking like she'll end up tiny too." Even though the girl was a few months old, she was only the size of a normal newborn, maybe a bit lighter, but about the same height. Quote: Hearing Isa squeak, Erin took that to be a 'yes.' Good. Erin didn't often get someone her own size to play with. Everyone else was either too big (like bossy Kari) or far too little (like biting Caleb on Daddy's lap). Noticing the other girl was pointing at her tail, the toddler tilted her head to one side in mild bemusement. "Yah... kitty. You kitty?" she asked, knowing nothing of other kinds of people other than "kitty", "doggy", and "dwag'n." Rustling his wings a bit, Aiodhan managed to free Caleb's dampened tail from the boy's mouth. Little brat... slobbering all over his tail like that. "Nothing wrong with being little. Amyla isn't exactly a giant either," he chuckled, nearly a foot and a half taller than his mate. Glancing over at Erin and Isa, he raised an eyebrow. "She is small, but she might just look that way compared to Erin. Erin isn't exactly petite," he muttered ruefully, being the one who had to give the little toddler piggy-back rides. Quote: Isa shook her head and twitched her larger ears cheerfully, "Isa dogeee." She pointed to Andreas, "Daddy dogeee. Same." She didn't distinguish that her parents looked different and she looked different, they were all doggies and that was just fine with her. She was a papillon, Andreas a komondor, and Ting a chinese crested, but they all had ears and a tail, and smelled funny when they were wet, so that made them all the same.Andreas leaned back against his chair, giving a nod, "Yeah." He wasn't worry that Isa would get hurt, she lived through all of Ting's fussings and accidents, a little girl wouldn't be anything bad for her. "How old is she?" He wondered out loud, more trying to make conversation than commenting on the girl's size.

Too Much Free TimeTime had never been the sort to waste the day away sleeping, so it really came as no surprise that she would wake Isa after only a brief half anhour. The girl wasn't grouchy, she rarely was, so she went without a fight as her mother took her into the living room still clad in her bunny pajamas. The room was wide and open, plenty of space to play. Well, normally it was. At the moment more than half of the room was taken up by a sprawling complex of pillow forts. Already the woman had used up all of the chairs, most of the blankets, and more than a few of the tables in the house, and she didn't seem done yet. The floor underneath the carpet was heavily cushioned, more a precaution for Ting than Isa, so there was no problem with the woman literally jumping into the fort. She wagged her tail happily, "Come on Isa, fun!" The pup gleefully clapped her hands and pulled herself into a fast almost stumbling crawl to reach her mother before the pillows swallowed her up. Ting scuttled through the tunnels and layers, laughing as she tried to 'escape' her young daughter. With panting squeaks, Isa yanked down sheets and crawled fiercely to find her mother. The phone started to ring in the kitchen and Ting, red faced from laughing, peeked her head up between the chairs. Grinning, she pulled herself out, leaving Isa behind, and went to answer the phone. Andreas' voice greeted her, just calling to check up on the two of them. They talked for a while, and then said their goodbyes. A few minutes after she got off the phone, Ting blinked, "Uh oh..." The living room fort was mostly torn down, and Isa was nowhere to be seen. "Isa?" Ting called, knotting her brows, "Isabella?" A squeak was heard somewhere across the room and Ting smiled as a set of light colored ears peeped up out of the blankets. "There you are," she cooed, running over to retrieve the pup she thought she had misplaced. Perhaps too much free time could be a bad thing.
