....does it really matter? i mean..... reguardless of what team they're on, they're traveling together... the problems that would arise is if they're on opposite teams for the same gem... and then, IF they wanted, whoever's on the team that wins the gem could spread his or her wish to include the other....

well sure! IF they figure out who's on what team.... they don't even know they're on teams, remember? and the GM isn't going to tell them who's on what team... where's the fun in that?

Okay, so they're on teams but they don't know about it. That'll kind of make it hard until the end. I guess it does work tho. BTW, I'm guessing Jor's "pops" isn't a big fan of Ran?

that he's a single, teenaged, good looking guy! and Pops (no i don't have a name for him, i'm lucky i came up with a name for those three sisters when i did!) has at least four daughters that MIGHT be attracted to a understanding, exotic guy.... be glad they don't have a shotgun

This being a fantasy world, I'm more afraid of magic than a shotgun. Besides, Ran doesn't mind a house full of girls. blaugh

lol, well, let me assure you. Jor and his family are purely fishers.... and there ARE cities that are as advanced technology wise as we are, with little magic, cities that are very futuristic that scorn magic because it can't be explained by science, and cities where magic is high up on the list and science is viewed as evil because it "destroys" magic....
as far as weapons go, there are bows and arrows, daggers, swords, guns, zap guns, stun guns, magic wands.... just about anything
