A) republic gunship B) jedi star fighter C) republic assult ship *100 gold for the first to know!* twasn't an actual prototype, but the wedge shap eof the Jedi Starfighter inspired the concept of the Old Republic's first star destroyer, the Victory. The Victory-class Star Destroyer was widleey used during the last days of the Old Republic, and was then put into extensive use by the infant Empire, until the Imperator/Imperial class SD became the most widely used Star Destroyer. The Victory-Class was still used, but only to complement a larger fleet.
