Journal Entry:
My new home, friends and my First Gig!
It's been a long journey from Cairo to Gaia. I never thought I'd get taken on by anyone, but the Walk of Fame Talent Agency has signed me.
I've been given a lovely apartment to live in, and although there was talk of a roommate, I seem to be quite alone, but...I don't mind all that much. My room has been decorated in white and black, which old pictures of home and one rather large sphinx statue...
In one corner is a huge bookcase, and I've filled it with lots of books on tecniques and a few romance novels (hehe). I have a wide open space for my living room and a large entertainment system has been furnished for me. Up some stairs is my little kitchen and I try to keep it as neat as when I came, but I'm a little messy when I'm in a hurry.
I've met several interesting people so far. Ana, a beautiful Latina model was the first. She's just done a photo shoot with Cosmo! We talked about the training we do and what we want to acomplish here. I hope to watch her career grow, as mine does.
Next was Bret, an actress, dancer and singer. I can't imagine doing all of those at once. My head almost bursts from dancing steps. She also choreographs and has said she'll help me sometime.
I briefly met someone named Oz, who seemed familiar, but I didn't stay long to learn about him, but I'm sure he's with the Agency as well.
Last is Brodi. He seem a little cocky, but very nice. He's a drummer, but he's told me he's not in a band at all. It's a shame, I'm sure he's a fantastic drummer.
Until Bret showed up, I was the only dancer (and I certainly don't mind the company!) and it was nice for awhile having that big danceroom all to myself. It helped me prepare foro my first performance.
I was cast in a "reality" show called Stars and Starlets. I had to dance with Zip Afron. When we were leaving the studio, there were so many screaming girls. What is so attractive about him? I even heard some boos towards me for dancing to close to him. It was a Salsa for heaven sake, that's the point!
Well, I hear the turn out for the contest next week. I'm crossing my fingers!! I was told, though, that I'm not allowed to cut these rotten extensions until the winners are announced (in case I have to go on stage for a mini celebration dance).
