Baizou turned to the first story, "Ah! It's the story of Cinderella!" He said, smiling. He blinked and a second later, he was in what looked like a thrown room with a rather irritated looking man shouting at him, "--And if you do not find a bride by tonight, I will choose one for you!"

Baizou blinked at the man as he tried to gather his senses, "I..."

"Are you even listening?"

"Ano... Excuse me." Baizou stood and walked out of the room, leaning against the door. He looked down to see he was the prince in the story, "What kind of books does nii-san have? I do not even know this story!"

((*giggles* It's English class all over again))
She blinked herself as she looked down, seeing herself in rags.

"Cinderella! Get up here at once!"

Gulping nervously, she looked at her hands.
Wh-what's going on?

((LOL We're gonna go for the short version though. The ball's tonight, so make with the Fairy G-ma and all that. Tee hee hee.))

Baizou took a deep breath and walked back in, deciding to go with the flow. He hoped Kira knew the story. "Yes, father. I... I will be sure to find a bride by then." He said after another lengthy lecture, hoping this ball would be what would bring Kira to him.

((Ayt, *shudders* I will not think of the dress... i will not think of the dress... I thought of the dress gonk ))

As she went to her bedroom, rubbing her sore hand. She flopped down.
"What in the world is hppening..." She perked up. "Waaaiiit... at this point of the story... there should be a-"
A flash of light appeared and she was instantly in a dress. ((Short version ><))
"Hah? wha?" She looked around, confused. Out of the blue, a hand pushed her out the door and down the stairs all the way outside.
"Hurry up! We don't have time for singing mice and ones that dance neither."
Kira turned around to see an old grandma.
"Wait a minute, what happened to Bippity Boppity-"
"No time! Hurry up" She pushed Kira into the.....pumpkin carriage and they wheeled off in the mouse/horses.
((*still can't get over the pumpkin =_=))

((I think it's a purty dress! ^w^))

It was eleven o' clock and the great hall was a bustle with young women from all over the land. All eyes were on Baizou and they made him nervous. It was useless. He didn't even look like himself, so any of these women could be Kira. One of them had offered him a dance and he took it to pass the time.

"You seem distracted," she said as she laid her head on his chest.

"Ah... gomen..." he mumbled, scanning the crowd.

((Ah nuts, now i'm thinking of the glass slipper... in which our class exchanged to become my sneakers instead =_=))

As Kira stumbled in, she looked down at herself and with a slight gulp, hurrying behind a pillar, looking out nervously at the crowd. Her eyes stopped at Bai, she squinted and sure enough saw the woman. Sighing, she backed out behind the pillar and into the shadows.

About a dozen other women were touching Bai and laughing, giving him marriage proposals left and right. He closed his eyes, unable to take the attack of emotions, "E-excuse me..." He muttered, pulling away from the crowd. He ducked away and pushed himself into the shadows, sighing as he backed up. It was a few seconds until he backed into someone. He turned and bowed apologetically, "I am sorry, I did not see you!"

Feeling the collision, Kira turned around to see him. She blinked a couple of times and reached out to touch his arm, herself not believing what she saw. Him in his outfit and...
Now thinking she has fallen in love with him the second time, she stood there, falling silent.

Baizou turned and looked over her, then into her eyes. Nothing could replicate that fond sparkle, "Kira?" He asked hesitantly, taking her hands.

She blinked out of her trance at looked down at his hands, before looking back up.
"... Uuum... yes?" She asked, hesitantly. "...wait, Bai?" She asked, gripping his hand.

He nodded and embraced her, "Yeah." He replied, smiling. He broke gently and pulled her hand to the head of the ball. Trailing behind him were a dozen or so desparate women, three of which looking rather angry, not at him, but at Kira. "Do you know them?" he whispered to her.

She gulped, and backed away.
"The-they're supposedly Cinderella's step sisters..." One pushed her off and in her glass slippers, she tumbled backwards. The other came up to Bai and grabbed his arm, pulling him into a dance.
"Come on Prince, let's dance!" The sister said forcefully.
"Hey! I want to dance with him first!" Argued the other. An oral arguement sparked between them, only to have the last sister come up to Bai and steal the dance. Kira watched, hopeless as her path was cut off by the quarreling sisters.

Baizou's eyes widened as his body was pulled in three differenet directions, "I have already cho--" But the rest of his sentence was cut off by the loud bell tolls, announcing to the village that it was now, midnight.

Remembering the story, Kira slapped her forehead and looked at the clock. She knew she had to go and so, she hurriedly turned to the door and ran out. Again, knowing he would soon follow. As she rushed, it was as predicted, she left a glass slipper on one of the steps. When she turned back to get it... She was already turning back into her rags. She turned back to her carriage and was rushed off.

By the time he had pulled away from the three, he saw that Kira had gone. "Kira!" He called, running for the doors. He pushed them open and stared around, "Kira!" He called again. He began to walk down the stairs and tripped over a shoe. "Oro? It is made of glass... This is one of Kira's..." He scanned the roads, but it was beginning to rain and made it hard to see.

((*is thinking of changing the story a bit*))

As the pumpkin finally gave out, it shrunk back to it's original size and the horses turned back to mice. She was stuck in the rain, in those rags. SHe let out a deep long breath.
"....This...wasn't how the story went...is it?" She wondered out loud. Then made her way under a tree, sheltering herself. Shivering slightly from the cold.

Baizou ran in the rain, splashing mud up around his pants as he went. He didn't know where he was going or for how long he'd run, but he was pulling himself by the feeling of her emotions. The slipper was gripped tightly in his hand, he was almost afraid he'd broken it. He was soaked to the bone by the time he'd reached the tree. He pushed his aching muscles a few feet more and collapsed to his knees in front of her. "I... I remember this part of the story! The prince marries the one whose foot fits in this glass slipper." he said, holding it out to her.

She blinked, and before she sid anything more, kneeled down in front of him. Slowly, her hands moved and soon they weregently resting on his neck as her arms wrapped around it.
"...yes Bai... that is correct..." She took the slipper and placed it next to her.
"But... I don't think we need it... We don't need anything to prove our love... It's obvious and we don't need any ol' slipper to prove that now do we?"

Baizou caught his breath for a few seconds as randrops slid down his neck and spine, "Iie... But, it means much more than that." He looked into her eyes, took her foot. His tone was very serious; there was no room to joke around, "I will marry the woman whose foot fits this shoe." He said, slowly slipping it on her foot. He looked back into her eyes, his own shining, "Will you be that woman, Kira?"

She didn't even have to think. Smiling softly, she leaned in and kissed him.
"Of course... It would be a great pleasure..." She pulled back to stare into his eyes, before placing both her hands on his cheeks and leaning in to kiss him deeply.
