It rather funny how life throws you curves. At one point you could be the happies person in the world and all it weould take is one thing to make you want to end it all. And on the other hand you could be the most depressed person in the world and manage to amass great wealth.
It was one of these sort of things that caught me off guard today. I was feeling rather down, as most people do from time to time, and took a walk down by the lake. Normally I would walk away, sit down and take a load off. I mean after all, who really does that much walking? But today i decided to go abit further.
After some time i noticed an odd thing floating in the water. The item ended up being a basket! Now when I say basket i don't mean a basket of apples or anything, but more as a baby basket. Sure enough I managed to fish it out of the water and there was a baby inside it. A lovely baby girl with hair the color of sweet candy.
So what does a person do when they find a bab left alone? They carry it to their home and take care of it. That is what I did. I have taken to calling her Aiyama, i think it is fitting. So, until someone comes to claim this treasure from me, she is mine, my daughter. I really do love the curves life throws.

I spent most of the day today laying on the floor playing with Aiyama. Se really is a smart little girl. She can point to colors as I say them, and even roll over and follow me on the floor.
I love babies, and I'm so very glad I found her. She is a darling to be sure. She sleeps on my chest durring the day, while I watch a movie, normally something childish, seeing as she likes the bright colors. Today it was Rock-a-doodle. At least it has good music.
I've allways loved that movie, ever since I first saw it all those years ago. It is fun to share things you like with your children, it just passes down the fun, and the traditions. I just hope that she understands in time just how much her watching these movies with me really means.

Aiyama and I spent the day at the park. I had alot of fun going around and showing her off. I was surprised what sort of attention that a young mother can get. I never really intended for it, but I guess It is a plus of it all.
Aiyama liked looking at the goldfish in the pond in the center of the park. She liked telling me their colors over and over. 'Gold mommy, and orange!' Every time I told her she got it right she would clap and giggle. It's a beautiful thing to be loved. I mean, I have alot of other loves to keep me company, but this child is a blessing. I do not think I could love her more.

I enjoyed my day very much yesterday. I spent most of it sitting and drawing pictures with the baby and another small girl that lives with me, Isis. They are both excellent artists for their ages. Aiyama is very good with color, or at least I think so. I think her favorite color is going to be pink and red however. I cannot get her to put them down. Everything done in the lovely colors of valentine's day. I suppose it is to be considered. She is a child of love, and her hair and skin tone tell nearly every body that. I will hopefully post up some of the art at a later time, but right now, Aiyama is crying, she never cries so something must be wrong.

Mother's Day! Oh my goodness, where do I begin. The children spoiled me, Isis even bringing me breakfast in bed. Yes I know it's abit late to talk about it, but I did enjoy it so much. Alot of the day I spent in bed with the children, reading stories, playing games. Every time I tried to get up they attacked me, making be stay down. Who was I to complain right?
Aiyama spend alot of the day curled on my lap, her head on my chest, just listening to the games. She did not much care for them, but the stories she adored. Tales of princesses and dragons and evil witches, all the children love fantasy, it is good to indulge their imaginations, heavens knows I do all the time.

This post is going to be short, mainly because Aiyama is ill. She came down with a bit of a cold last night, and she has been very upset. This is the first time she has been ill since I've been caring for her, and I do not think she really expected it. It could be she caught it from one of the other children, but I do not know.
The update is this. Aiyama has been getting on well with the other children, and has adopted, Isis as a sort of sister. It is funny seeing as they could not be more different.
Aiyama is also learning her colors, she does not speak them, but she does know which one is which, the next step is getting her to say what they are.

The heavens be praised, the baby is well. After afew long days and nights, of absolutly NO sleep Aiyama started feeling better afew days ago. It is good to see her back to her cheerful self. I do not like seeing her cry like she has been for so long.
She is currently off playing dolls with Isis, the two if them seem to be having fun with their little stories of families and children. I hope they know that it will be a whole lot work in real life than simply moving those dolls about.
