JIzzy turned to face the people with the greeting and almost fell of her seat. So.. so that's what they looked like.. Both the gryphoon and the Aerandir child.. Living in the semi-deserted town, she'd never really seen the Aerandir before.
"Hello.. Welcome to Ar'Idil.. I'm Jizzy."
SHe repeated once more, smiling over at Kiri, Pueblo and Tsukai, but directing the greeting to everyone around.
"And I'm impressed by the cupcakes, Blair. I cook to, all that food over there was CHao and I.."
SHe said pointing to the table laden with food.

Chao nodded as she pulled out the last of it and made sure nothing was going to fall off the edges of the table anytime soon.
Satisfied she rolled her shoulders and looked as people continued to arrive. At Anakiro's greeting she smiled warmly and waved, "Yes, hello and welcome to Ar'Idil," she chorused, a moment after Jizzy, "I'm Chao." Her eyes glanced over Tsukai and Peublo, 'they must be Aerandir' she thought, one hand patting her satchel reflexively.

Tranis shot his eyes open as he felt a gentle nudge. "PEEP!" he shouted angerly, he was sleeping. How dare Yakobi wake him. He pushed his ways out of his guardian's arms and darted off towards the center of the festival grounds.
"Taranis!" Yakobi shouted as her Aerandir ran off. That was just like him. "Come on Iniko." she said with a smiled as she ran off after her charge. She didn't want to leave the wisp alone and she wasn't suposed to let her stray far from her bonded item.
"Tarny! Tarny! Tarny!" Iniko laughed spining in a cirle before floating after Yakobi and Taranis. This was fun!

Kiro nodded to Orian (someone he already knew), Chao and Jizzy, his smile broadening a little. "My name's Kiro," he said, his voice still quiet, but picking up courage as he spoke. He tilted his head a little to indicate Tsukai. "This is Tsukai." He then patted Pueblo on the head. "And this is..."
"Pu-bo!! I'm Pu-bo!!" the little girl interrupted, giggling happily, still waving like a mad thing.
Kiro smiled. "Pueblo's still getting the hang of this talking thing. Ain'cha Bobo?"
"Yaaaay!!"
Peeping, Tsukai seemed intrigued. Suddenly, and without warning, he launched from Kiro's shoulder and hop-fluttered towards Jizzy. Kiro's reaction was to blink, not quite sure what had just happened. He then caught sight of Yakobi with Taranis and Iniko. Kiro grinned at them, and waved.
"Eeko!!" squealed Pueblo with a giggle before rushing towards her friend.

There was one thing that hadn't changed much about Osusuki. He could still be heard before he could be seen. As they left the little boat that had ferried them from Cetalu to Ar'Idil, the boy's face was a picture of excitement. He had been fascinated by the boat. It could move on top of water! But water wasn't solid like ground - you could put your hand through it. The boat (well, that's what Yassu had called it) must be special somehow.
But all that was forgotten when they reached the other island. With a delighted whoop, Osu rushed up to the festival area, his little wings fluttering with excitement. This was cool! "Yassu! Yassu! Huwwy!!!!" he yelled, once again finding himself waiting for his guardian.
Ieyasu grinned wryly, shaking his head as he followed the excited little spellweaver. There were a lot of people here already, it seemed. Many of them looked unfamiliar too. Some, he did recognise though. Keeping an eye on Osu as the little Aerandir plunged forward again, he approached the setup of tents etc. Raising a hand in greeting, he gave a good-natured grin.
"Hey there."

Orian stood up, waving to 'Yasu, smiling a little. "Well, it seems everyone is gathering slowly. Looks like its going to be one hell of a party. So did anyone remember the drinks?" He smiled a little, thinking of the little stash he had cooling in a stream nearby.

Chao chuckled at Pueblo's enthusiam, "it's nice to meet you, Pueblo, Kiro and Tsukai!"
"Yes, it's sure to be one huge party," it seemed guardians, Aerandir and visitors alike were all going to be here after all. At the drinks question she tilted her head, "er... I'm not sure actually," she glanced around, looking for anything in the way of bevrages. All she and Jizzy had made was large quanties of food.

"Well, i've got some things cooling in a nearby stream, but its a little early in the day for serious drinking, so I guess i'll have to stick with fruit juice for now." He chuckled again, holding out his metallic hand. "Orian Ironfist. Nice to meet you m'lady. I live in the center on the other island after i got shipwrecked on the island."

Jizzy smiled broadly as the small gyphon hop-fluttered to her.
"Well, you sure are adorable..."
She said softly, taken by his cuteness. She heard CHao's comment and nodded.
"Now that there's more people here, I can go get soimething at the lodge.."
SHe stood and departed, returning soon with a bunch of paper glasses and a large pitcher of lemonade. She placed it on the table and sighed.
"I didn;t want to put the ice in until there were people here, so it'd be cold.."

Oh! Those drinks. The teen was a tiny bit slow on that uptake but she grinned all the same and took the offered hand, only giving it the slightly of curious looks when she noticed it was metalic, "it's very nice to meet you Orian." Her eyes widened as he continued on, "wow, shipwrecked?" She could emphasize with that, though she didn't add that.
Taking a seat and proping her satchel on her lap she grinned, "what's the other island like?"

Yakobi saw Kiro out of the corner of her eye "Hey Kiro!" she called out waving back at him before continuing to chase down her charge. "Come on Taranis, get back here!" For a little thing Taranis was fast...And a big trouble maker, perhaps she shouldn't have woken him up. Paying no attention to where she was going as she was just following her Aerandir around she sliped upon a small rock. "Ouff..." she said giving Taranis a look as he turned to see what had happened. Opening her mouth she blew her hair up and out of her face, tapping her fingers on the ground.
"Peep!" Taranis called out as he walked over to his guardian. With a wiggle of his tail he poked her with his beak before ploping himself on the ground and looking at the others around the aera.
Iniko turned around as she heard someone call to her. It was Pueblo! "Pubo!" she shouted happily spining in circles around the Aerandir child.

"Eh, its a lot like this one, just without the fire mountain." He points at the volcano, taking a cup of lemonade and sipping at it. "I'm en explorer by nature though, so i've seen a lot of different terrain in my travels. These islands are a nice place to live. Good weather, bountiful food, and nice people." Give a small smile, he sat back down.

Chao nodded, "the volcaneo's inactive but sadly we're not allowed to venture too close, the ground's still unstable, I think it's because of the dig for the artifacts...." she sighed and frowned, having been wanting to get nearer to the mountain and the other side of the island ever since she'd settled in.
The frown only lasted a second before she was back to listening happily, "it sounds very nice. And it's great to see more people, seeing as right now there's a lot of empty houses in Setone, which is slightly disconcerting to see after living near Durem."

Ieyasu nodded to Orian, offering him a grin. It had been a while since he had seen him. In fact, that last time he had spoken to Orian was that time in the hot springs...
"Afraid not. I should have thought to bring some."
Spotting Kiro nearby, he waved to the neko-jin. The other people nearby, he didn't recognise.
Wooow! There were lotsa people here! Aerandir too! Spotting Pueblo first (Tsukai was kind of hard to notice sometimes, afterall), the boy ran up to Kiro and Pueblo, clasping his hinds behind his back. He beamed at Pueblo, before noticing Tsukai.
"Hi!" he said brightly.

Orian gave a laugh. "Don't worry Yasu. I managed to pick up some when i snuck over to the mainland last time. I even managed a pair of bottles of good Sake." He patted a bag he had hid under a table, which gave a slight clink.
