He shrugged his shoulders, slipping further back into the wall. He could feel it embracing him, wrapping him in the darkness as he closed his eyes, letting the glow fade behind dark lids. "It is only a matter of time unless one knows where to hide. I? I happen to know just... Where... To... Go..."

"You only think you can hide from me." You didn't truly hide from time. All he had to do was watch the strings of possibility roll out as to where the shadow would end up and he could find him. Though the effort would probably result in a head ache and wasn't worth it.

"Seems like too much effort... To waste chasing after... A shadow..." His voice seemed to float through the hallway, coming from no one place specifically. "... Exactly what... Would you get... Out of it?" There were traces of laughter lingering in his strange tones. Perhaps he and his sister were more alike than he gave credit.

"As of right now i would get nothing out of it which is why i am not bothering." He turned and started to head back toward his room. The shadow as less annoying than his sister but they were still cut from the same mold.

No... The other male wouldn't get anything out of him just as he would get nothing out of the other man. There would be a fair trade for... Nothingness. Emptiness. Darkness. In the end, wasn't that what it always boiled down to?

He slipped deeper into the castle, floating along the shadows to take him where he wanted to be more than anything else; to the one place where only Vondilla had been able to find him. Even then, it had only been through their sibling bond. This? This was his safe, quiet haven. So much for the... Outside... World...
