Safir'ena pondered the thought for a moment. "In all truth, I'm just,... waiting. Waiting to see where I end up, without trying hard. You know what I mean? Pretty much just continue on my way, wherever the wind may lead me,... and perhaps along the way, the wind will circle in one area, and find me my home." she smiled. She spoke in riddles, but as long as you payed close attention to her words, they made perfect sence.

Waiting... waiting for the wind to take her home... Was that what Laini was doing? Waiting for the wind to take her home? But Laini had only recently begun to follow the wind, only since she came to this hot, dry place ...or at least dry compared to where she had grown up in Somalia. Also, if it was home the wind was supposed to take her to, Laini wouldn't bother. Back home, back north, there was nothing up there for her. There was nothing worth wild. Laini wasn't searching for a home but rather a place to belong. Any logician could have told her they were one and the same. It was only she who didn't see it that way.
