A loud, clear crack, echoed into the keeper's inn where Avelena had been fitfully sleeping. A tiny kyunru above her pawed insistantly at her stomach, wailing softly. She opened her eyes slowly, her mind not really registering any sight yet, but she deffinantly felt something wrong. Everything seemed to have been shifted to an angle and still moving.

With little more than a moment to truely think, she leaped to her feet, grabbed a robe, Rasu's letter, her journal, and zy's gift, shoving them in pockets as she grabbed Oliver and threw the door to her room open. The sounds of pandimonium outside the tree hit her and she ran down the hall and down a flight of stairs as fast as possible, keeping her balance as best as possible. As she exited the keeper's inn she took note of the situation before her, standing but for a moment in perfect silence before following what looked like the back of Chronos as he entered the woods.

The sounds behind her seemed to diminish as she fled deeper into the woods, eventually losing sight of Chronos and the many Ieldi and simply collapsing on the ground beside a tree. She gave Oliver, who was shaking and crying a few reassuring pats on the head, holding him close to her as she fell asleep, body slumping a bit to the side.

Avelena blinked herself awake and looked over at the small yipping ball of fuzz staring out the window at the small gathering before the untouchable portal. She leaned out the window for a second to see if there were any hints to what was going, gaining no information from her cursory glance she threw on a pair of jeans and a too-large t-shirt before scurrying to the door. She suddenly noticed a small rolled up slip of paper. She scaned it with widened eyes before rushing out the door and down the hall to pick up one of the slightly burnt maps, giving it a thorough look. She then began a sprint to the door, Oliver picking up on her trail as she went.

"You're going to have a little friend, isn't that nice?!" she squeeled delightfully as she skidded to a stop to control colliding with the door...

Avelena
Ave stepped out of the inn slowly, a little Oliver close at her heels, quickly coming to be attached to this place and regaining his quirky happiness. She saw the others at the portal and only assumed they'd gotten a note too. She approached them, coming upto stand beside Tia as pulled out her rather wrinkled and folded note. She gave a questioning look to Tia before a wide smile crossed across her face.

"You get one too?! I-I have a r-relic up there!?"

Quinny-chan
Quinn wanders into the clearing of Lower Kyendi and sees a large gathering by the teleporters. She had recieved a letter from Rasu today, telling her to come and find her relic and her new house... HOUSE. The shock of not having to perch on a shelf for months, let alone the shock at hearing her Relic had arrived had unhinged Quinn a bit.

Skipping over to the gathering, she asks, "Do we get to teleport now? I found this map. What's going on?"

Naien
Just as suddenly as she'd dissappeared, Nai re-emerges from the portal. She's grinning like an idiot, and hurredly waves everyone over.
"Hey, it works! It's so cool up there, you guys have to come see!"
She turns on her heel and vanishes into the portal again, expecting them to follow this time.

Chayse
"Nai went through to test if it works..." Chayse said, pointing to the teleport pad just as Nai appeared. "And apparently it does." He made a quick note in his book and stepped back so the owners could go before him.

Quinny-chan
Quinn falls flat on her tush at the sight of Nai appearing out of thin air. It took her a minute to realize she had used the portal and that it wasn't some latent talent the little kitsune had.

Rising and brushing off her rump, she looked excitedly at her companions, waiting for her turn to find her new home.

Avelena
The short girl was jittering and fidgiting like mad as Nai appeared. Her eyes were wide with excitement, but according to the note it would likely be advisable to wait her own turn to go through, as she didn't want to upset any odd balance.

Black Duvet
Instead of rushing into the portal immediately, she simply stood there and stared at it. Oh sure, everything might have been fine, but right now she didn't like..portals.. they made her dizzy, and nauseous, and confused.. walking up to it cautiously, she stuck the corner of her suitcase in the corner, as if she were poking it. Her brow furrowed as she 'poked' it further, then, tripping over a root as she advanced further forward, was flung into the portal, whether she liked it or not.

She did NOT like how today was turning out.

Arriving at the housing area in two seconds or so, she landed on her tush as the portal spat her out, her suitcase fallen beside her. She slowly shifted, rubbing her backside and grumbling, and looked at her map again. Her house was the one at the very bottom -- looking up, she saw other houses rising up in front of her, and looking back there was only the towering tree, so..the house in front of her must've been hers..right?

Tiagra
"Ooo!" Tia waited her turn before emering into the life-like image of the map. She squeled to herself, as she rushed to her own little abode to find her relic right in the middle. She gasped happily at the relic and the rooms in the house. Oh today SO was the best day of her life.

Quinny-chan
Quinn checked the map she had received and noticed that her house was right by the portal exit in Upper Kyendi. How convienient! she thought. Even Spoon can find this.

Looking to make sure no one else wanted a turn, she stepped into the portal. She would bring supplies later. She couldnt wait any longer to see her relic!

Chayse
Chayse stepped through after everyone else, having waiting politely to allow them their turns. When he arrived he looked up in awe at the houses spread out before him, then quickly began making notes. "Amazing..."

Avelena
Avelena stepped up nervously after the others had gone, assuming she could take care of moving her stuff later.

Tragicity
Tragicity could be seen making her way slowly up the tree, laden with boxes, plants, a sheepdog and a complaining Sunchild.
She couldn't see any of the other Ieldi keepers, which was a pity, but she was sure that she would spot them around later.

She walked on, stopping outside her designated house.

Avelena
Avelena slipped out of the portal and casually walked toward the inn to grab her possessions and the gifts she'd received for her new relic. She dragged her suitcase, a small shoebox, and a slightly larger crate filled with trinkets back to the portal, stumbling and tripping on several occassions.

January 4th
Well, my my my, isn't this a beautiful little journal, I've had it on me awhile now and just haven't put pencil to paper I suppose. It would seem now would be the time to actually begin the writing...

Sometime ago, quite awhile if you want to get down to it, I received Oliver, a lovely purple kyunru while on a small adventure with a few members of a very disfunctional pantheon. Well, to make a long story short I was also choosen to be the future owner of an Ieldi if I was successful in luring a spirit. We all lived in this large tree and all was good, untill one day some tempers boiled over, and for reasons still not truely clear to me a fight between a couple pantheon members tore down this tree. So we found a new one in a very magical land where all these creatures come from...

Just today I found a note from Rasu and instructions for a house (yes, house!) waiting for me farther up the tree. Inside this house, I was written, was my relic waiting for me. So, now I sit in a rather empty, yet spacious front room in my little abode. The relic is beautiful, and with a little research I found that the leaves are that of a Golden-Fronted Leaf Bird, quite the interesting and bright little bird. I'm sure the relic will bring a spirit I'll love to peices!

The front room is slowly being decorated with nick nacks and Oliver has taken to make his naping quaters and flower collection nearby the relic. It still remains rather empty though. Further back there's my bed room where I have a little well constructed bed and my suitcase that I currently live out of. It then leads into a small bathroom that should suffice for all my little bathroom nick nacks and perfumes and such.

Oliver has taken aliking to the relic that I hope will last and carry overto the spirit that takes up residence. Here's to a new life, in a new tree, with a soon to be new family member.
