Mr. Cynical DarklingGlory Well since this thread is about style bashing, why dont we bash some styles? I'm pretty sure you can bash most of them for something xd True. I'll start.

I'll do the arts I've done.
Taekwondo - About as much use on the street as a wet paper bag. The number of times I've seen some supposedly super hard TKDist try and pull some stupid a** kick in a real situation then had their face pounded into the floor is unreal. Out of all the bullshit classes/teachers/associations, TKD ones seem to be most common.
Kungfu - Quit dancing around and actually fight you soft a** mo'fos. And no standing there twisting hands and tapping each other doesn't count.
Kick boxing/Thai Boxing/Muay Thai - One word. "Sport". Has no philisophical depth what so ever. Seem to feel that you can make a good fighter by doing excessive amounts of situps and pressups. You get a lot of classes that are essentially fitness classes calling themselves kick boxing/thai boxing

I was aware of your opinion on the matter, but I personally prefer things with a little more depth. I believe that MA involves more than just hitting or snapping things

Jae Sung Personally what types of styles would you guys say are well rounded and not full of crap? MMA. It's the only one to cover 2 of the 3 ranges of fighting more then adequately. Otherwise, none. CROSS TRAINING FOR THE WIN.
