As she moved, he withdrew himself and laid quietly at her side until she got up. A low, rumbling purr vibrated from Envy's chest as he accepted Nessa's nuzzle before she turned her attention to the eggs. Head turned to wordlessly watch as she tended to their little batch of soon to be mini-Kitsu. Allowing his tails to relax their hold on the eggs, he moved them to the side so that she could have better access to them. It also gave him a chance to rise to his paws and stretch languidly. Tails and rear hiked into the air as he leaned forward to stretch his forelimbs, toes splaying out. Once he completed the stretching, Envy sat himself to observe.

Nessa nudged one of the eggs free, letting it roll in circles before it came to a stop nearby. The other one was already well on it's way around the small area that she had smoothed out for them, as if a little nest of sand and grass. The final egg was more of a daddy's girl and sat there next to Envy for a few moments debating on what to do it seemed.
"There, get some... exercise? Though how it helps them as eggs, I have no idea." Nessa admitted, watching two of them make rounds.

Envy looked dumbfounded as he watched the two eggs roll about in circles. Magenta eyes blinking a few times, "How the hell do they do that?" He didn't think eggs could do that. Can they even see where they're going? He then looked to the egg that was lingering next to him, a smirk working its way onto his muzzle. Leaning down... he sniffed at it, while placing a paw on its top. Hm... interesting. Grinning, he let his tongue slide across the surface of the shell in a mischevious manner, wondering what the egg would do.... if anything.
The egg in question tilted and wiggled a bit in responce to the... attention. However, being that it was... well.. an egg... it was hard to judge exactly what kind of reaction it was. It seemed content to stay where it was though. Which certainly amused Envy.

Nessa shrugged. "Maybe they just... push the egg around. I know that when they hatch, there's a little kitsu inside so maybe they're in there... bored. And push the inside of the egg around to relieve boredom?" she suggested, imagining just how dull it could be to be in a shell. She remembered it in fact.
The two eggs that were rolling, continued. At one point, they realized there were two of them and began bumping together gently. Luckily they were both made of sterner parents, and neither cracked or dented.

Envy lifted a brow at the notion, seeming to mull that over in his mind. "Hm... perhaps" he replied, a note of amusement still playing on his tongue. He would be bored inside of a shell as well. The egg next to him continued to wiggle a bit and Envy laid himself down. Placing his forepaws around the strange little egg. It leaned against him, causing the sin to blink and eye it oddly. This whole daddy thing was going to take some getting use to. But well.. it certainly did seem to like him.

Nessa grinned, watching him test the egg that had become accustomed to him. "This is going to be an interesting experience for both of us..." she said, keeping an eye on the other two eggs of course.
The two eggs seemed content to bump against each other, until one began rolling away. The other began to roll and fell into the groove that the first had left, making it look like one was chasing the other.

And so Envy sat there with an egg leaning against him, a puzzled look on his face that said 'Now what?' What's he supposed to do with this thing? He looked down at the egg that had markings resembling his own. Hmm.. perhaps this was a future mini-Envy in the making? "Yes... yes it will" he soon spoke up, addressing Nessa's words. It would be itneresting indeed... to see what kind of kits hatched out of these eggs. A paw was put around egg, and held it to him. Muzzle twisting into that devious grin as he lifted his gaze to watch Nessa's interaction with the other two. Although they seemed content to do their own thing.

Nessa followed after the eggs, going slowly and waiting for them to eventually end up at a dead end. As it didn't seem to be coming soon enough, she finally increased the distance of her strides and ended up in front of them. The bat egg bumped into her leg, and the one with Envy's marking bumped into it. They paused in a little bit of surprised.
Looking up at Envy, she grinned. "I think they've had enough rolling, at least the way they want to go." With that, she nudged them both toward Envy and repiled the sand a bit to keep them steady as she retrieved food for both herself and Envy. They hadn't eaten lately and it was long overdue.

Envy chuckled as the wandering of the two eggs was abruptly ceased. The sin himself still holding the one egg against him as it seemed rather content there. However, as Nessa moved off to get some food... the sin nudged the egg in with others in the little nest. It wobbled as if protesting, but soon seemed to settle down. Sitting close by... he kept guard over the eggs, quietly waiting for Nessa to return. Feh... he hadn't needed food in his previous life.. but then he couldn't breed then either. This life was proving to be far more... interesting in some ways.

Nessa returned shortly later with some bleeding animal, large enough to feed the two of them. They needed the energy, and she was sure they would need more once the eggs hatched and they were chasing the little kitsu everywhere instead of following rolling eggs.
Setting the kill down, she licked a little bit of blood from her paw. "Dinner is served."

You'd think he'd be the one providing the meal instead of playing mother hen to the eggs. He didn't really seem to care though, since he wasn't the most masculine Kitsuagi around. Sauntering over to where Nessa had situated herself with the carcass, the sin brushed up against her... giving a playful n** at her shoulder before sinking his teeth into the dead thing and ripping a piece from it. Leaving more than enough for his mate. Sharp teeth tore at the flesh ravenously as it was consumed. The sin soon being satisfied and flopping on his stomach to digest it. "Hmm.. quite delectable" he remarked, approving of Nessa's prey of choice. But then.. there were likely few things that she could bring back that he would dislike... so long as it was bleeding.

"I thought you would like it." Nessa smirked, taking a bit more until she was filled and yawned a bit. It was time again for a good grooming, as she started on her own and then his maw, before completing it by making sure the eggs were clean. They weren't exactly the neatest of kitsu so a bit would of course splatter here and there.
What she didn't anticipate was for the drops she had seen, to be gone. Almost as if the eggs had absorbed the blood. "I think they just had their first taste of blood... Envy?" she said, turning to her mate with a little bit of a grin. "They're definitely going to take after us. That bat egg too... Even though the parents aren't us."

Tilting his chin up slightly as she groomed his maw, Envy only smirked. He hated bathes.. except when it came from her. -_n Tossing his hair casually, he yawned lightly and then turned his gaze towards Nessa and the eggs, raising his brows at her announcement. "Oh?" the sin chuckled once more and moved to sit next to his mate. That grin reappearing as he placed a paw on one of the eggs, "I'm looking forward to this." Just think... four more little terrors to run amok with their parents. Just think of all the fun they could have!

"I bet you are." Nessa chuckled. She could already visualize him and one of the kits running around causing a ruckus. Of course, she and the rest would be there too. A little herd of little and big terrors... Oh boy, the HQ was in for quite the shock in the next few weeks.

---- A couple days later
Envy had rather enjoyed himself. The sin's form was stained with blood here and there... and it was just a marvelous feeling. He had that brat's blood on him... and a lock of his hair in his teeth. Along with a kill that he dragged in with him. That was his main objective and he'd fulfilled it after beating the crap and possibly doing in the Fullmetal teen. Once he entered the room where his family had situated itself, Envy tossed down the carcass before proudly dropping the bit of hair in the nest.
