I get many mixed reactions.
My boyfriend absolutely loves it. He loves fashion, and he treats me like a princess when I'm in Lolita. smile He actually carried me to the car because it had been raining outside! Most of my guy friends seem to like it.
When I make trips to Berkeley, people love the clothing. Obviously. I get asked if they can take my picture, too. It's cool.
However, I get the snickers in the hall. I've gotten the "little bo peep" and "pipi long stockings" comments, too. There was one girl that was so rude, that she pressed the issue that I shouldn't dress like I was Amish. It was so disgustingly rude I couldn't even deal with it.
Most people just leave me alone, though.

Decora.Doll When I'm out most guys are just like "wtf you are in the wrong century", "it's not halloween", "Is that for Little bo peep?" (WTF DO I LOOK LIKE I'M HERDING SHEEP IN THE IS OUTFIT? XD)
Sometimes tourist like their pictures with us. Mostly it's guys, girls seem to be less open about it and more like "wtf that's not what's in style right now".
My guy friends think it's weird, but cute. They call it "alice in wonderland clothes". I get reactions like that most of the time. In my hometown people are amazed by it. They think it's weird that I would get all dressed up for no reason though (they always ask what the occasion is). My boyfriend likes it but not as much as my ex did. He liked it in a sort of roleplay way but that's why he's the ex. My current boyfriend says I should wear whatever I want but don't expect him to get dressed up. My guy roommates just think it's too funny. I'm older though and everyone just is mature about it.

My cousin is my best friend and he likes lolita a lot. He loves the clothes I wear. (I wear EGA mostly) I'm THE goth girl in my school. I'm by no means popular but every person in my school knows me as the goth chick or the creepy chick with the black umbrella. Most of the time guys just ask me if i'm insane. (My lolita heels seem to draw attention)

some guys think it's hot...but most people think it's just plain wierd. my friends and the people who call themselves "punk" always compliment me on how cute/pretty i look ^.^ it makes me very happy.

I guess I'm lucky to get similiar reactions as Cloudy.
I'm also a style icon at my high school. xD I lack groupies though. :C
Teachers know me and love my outfits, students, and especially guys.
Occasionally someone will say something against my outfit, but then a bunch of other people (who I sometimes don't even know) will stand up for me.
Most of my guy friends find it hot and so does my boyfriend (and my past boyfriends). I can't say that that makes them *****, because in America, well, have you see what's sold in sex and fetish shops? Poofy, lacey clothing.

hey love that's not just america.
i think anyone with their own style is automatically i highschool style icon. I've had people i don't know tell me how much they admire my style. it's kinda cool (or creepy when people you don't know starts stroking ur hair)

Still want to shock them by wearing a dress, but then I'll get kicked from school as my principal even hates my rings sweatdrop

Can you really get kicked from school for cross dressing? Technically the supreme ct. says if a student's dress is disruptive to the class (or has offensive language) then they can be asked to changed. (if they refuse they may be punished) but if you press the matter schools really can't do anything. I don't think they can legally enforce a dress code they just expect everyone will follow it (and that they're not a nerd like me who known this stuff)

good subject! I showed my gothic and lolita bible to the guy i have a big crush on and he said it was interesting and he liked it heart now once i get a full outfit i'll try my best to be cute and confident biggrin

I wasn't aware that it was that style. ^^
A girl came up to me and said:
"A Lolita, right?"
Then asked for a picture.
Besides that the others at school seem to think it's either:
Cute, Hot, Elegant, or a sort of Droll.
