I'm just jealous because she has Johnny Depp in her v****a. crying
But hey, every second they spend making crappy pics and attacking people in threads is one second they're not escorting women into clinics, attacking protestors or doing anything remotely productive to protect the right to abortion.
Though I can totally see them shoving nuns while balancing a laptop. xd

Alright, let's get back on topic guys. I wasn't aware I was going to cause this much commotion with my post. XD
As amusing as I find this, she's really not worth clogging up threads ranting about.

As amusing as I find this, she's really not worth clogging up threads ranting about. Awwww, we're not ranting. crying But yeah, back on topic time. I don't know why anyone would assume a gay person would be automatically pro-choice, but I do know that a gay-Republican seems like an oximoron. I mean, the Republican party has worked to attack homosexual rights for years, so it just doesn't make much sense to me.

I mean, the Republican party has worked to attack homosexual rights for years, so it just doesn't make much sense to me. I believe that most of them agree with many Republican policies and ideals, but not with the anti-gay parts. There are things that I agree with the Republicans on, like a small central government and States rights. But yeah, lately most Republican candidates have been running on an Anti-Gay Platform, so it seems very strange that there would still be homosexuals who are Republicans. Something like 75% of people choose the political party their parents belong(ed) to.

Any kind of minority-Republican, or even middle- or lower-class-Republican, seems oxymoronic to me. I mean, people in power can stay in power, the rich can stay rich, with conservative policies, but those without either are ********. A poor person would only support supply-side economics if they wanted to stay poor. ...or were too stupid to understand it... stare

I suppose on the face of it it seems like it doesn't make sense to hold a "liberal" view in one sense and not another. But looking into it, it makes more sense than people would think. Gay people are still people with their own thoughts, views and opinions - and there are even gay people AGAINST gay marriage.
And I would write more, but I haveta scoot to class. >.<

At least, from what I've observed. Rinaqa: heart

We, as a species, don't even always know why we, as individuals, do things. Take American Idle, for example. (Please, take them somewhere far away from me, and leave them there! *wink*)

Speaking as someone who regularly visits FR (and DU, but this is referring to Republicans): Social issues.
Guns, abortions, gay rights, etc. You're talking about the bible belt, and not the happy fun one, the scary BURN IN HELL one.

There's a happy fun bible belt? confused Srsly, tho: In the U.S. and Canada, at least, the working class tends to be conservative on social issues and liberal on economic issues, and the upper class tends to be the opposite. And often, methinks, working class people don't realise how important economic issues are and vote for the more emotional social issues.

personally, i believe i may be more on the liberal side than the conservative... but i don't care enough to classify myself, so i go with independant.
a few of my morals in a nutshell-
anti-war anti-abortion anti-prejudice (that means true equality, if there's a draft, women better be signed up too, screw that selective crap) communist or pseudo-communist pro-free-speech pro-free-information pro-making-prisoners-work pro-nature

That's part of the fun Bible belt. xd Huh. xp I've been to Catholic "black" churches, but I think of the bible belt as being made up of sects that believe every word in the bible is literally true, etc. Ones that think dancing is sinful or at least would not be okay with gay/bi people. And ones who think Catholics are heathens... rolleyes
