No, don't. You get them on certain levels of the winter mine. You need 9. Or 7, or whatever. They become a Kappa jewel. Regeneration of fatigue.

That is Kappa, he is on HM: Friends of Mineral Town as well.
If you throw a cucumber in the lake where you go to the winter mine (When it's not frozen. xD), he'll appear, but he won't like you.

His name is Kappa and he is a sea turtle that loves Cucumbers. He cannot resist them. If you give him 10 grown cucumbers over the course of 10 straight days, then he will give you a blue power berry.

And it increases fatigue level, not stamina like the red ones. And its the only one. You can also fish him out of the same lake, but its rare. Its as likely as getting a king fish.

can you use anything esle other than cucumbers or fishing to get him out? like maybe corn or a pineapple?

Nope. However, the pond north of it, can have the Harvest Goddess come out in all her beauty with any gift, not sure how many times in a row, and it has to be days in a row. She gives a regular power berry. And can be married. If you have an insane amount of free time. She loves pineapples if you try to marry her. Her birthday is either the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd of Spring.

I also think that is for the boy version of the game as well. However, I also heard those words that she can be married to you.
I always wondered, if you did marry the Harvest Goddess, does that make you a Harvest God?

Sort of, it doesn't really change anything, she is only at home for your birthday, her birthday, and your child's birthday. You probably aren't since you were born a human, and getting married doesn't really give you anything from the other girls, except on your birthday. I always though you would get some benefits, like Elli gave discounts on medicine, Popuri = chicken feed, Mary = ....err....skip it, Ann = free inn food and booze. I thought the Harvest Goddess would do something like lower time for crop to grow, or commanding the weather. Your child with her though is a demigod, but doesn't change either. All getting married does, is show anyone who sees your profile, that you lord over Harvest Moon, and have way too much free time.

yoshigali Lollipop05 Kappa is the green creature that lives in the lake. NOT the lake of the harvest goddess, but the other lake of the winter mine. During the spring,summer, or fall, throw cucumbers in the lake to see him. If you succeed in throwing cucumbers for many days, he will give you a Kappa jewel. Collect 9 Kappa jewels and see what will happen! I think that first he gives you the blue power berry, because I don't have any Kappa jewels. Should I sacrafice more cucumbers to get the Kappa jewels? I think so. Yes, I guess he gives you a blue power berry first... And yes again, to get a jewel, give more cucumbers to him.

There is a rare change you can get a kappa jewel in the winter mine (well I think it was the winter mine).
I found one on the first floor just hitting rocks randomly.

Yes, but what year was it in? I think there is a year requirement and yes you can get a kappa jewel there.

Miss Smiley what do the kappa jewels look like? They are green, and con only be gotten from the winter mine, so only in winter, until you get the teleport rock. From the winter mine.
