I come bearing pics! These aren't my own photos, but they're more or less what the moon looked like over Norfolk that night:

Yes... the moon that night did inteed turn a nice shade of red.
I would share my own photos, but my camera did not do it justice at all.
It's nice, for once, that the UK got a nice eclipse.

Veruniel So, who else was in the right part of the world to see the lunar eclipse? Who else rushed out late at night to gawk? Your darling Veru had a gig in a pub when it happened. We all took turns slipping off the stage or away from the bar to gape at the moon as it darkened to a sort of bruiselike purple. Very eerie. But pretty too, in a spooky sort of way. I'm really glad the weather was so clear. It was raining like mad a couple days ago and it's raining like mad again now, but for one glorious night, we got a cold, clear sky and a fabulous view. I ran and looked at it yesturday... I couldn't help myself, and I had to see it... one of those one time things.... exclaim

I missed it. I always do that. I knew it was coming too. My friends and I say the moon being slightly blocked the other night, and I told my self "dont forget to see that when it's done" and I forgot. O_<

I didn't get to see it, but I am excited because it happened on my birthday, which makes my astrology readings for this year amazing.
