New theory! What if Zuko and Iroh have turned the tables and are plotting against Azula for a change? Unlikely, given Zuko's past history, but as has been stated, he's not exactly the one-track moody prince from before. I predict there's going to be one heck of a plot-twist in that direction come season 3.

I'm still hoping that Iroh rubbed off on him a lot, so much that'd he'd pull an Iroh.
By which I mean pretend to go along with what's expected of him, then go SHAZAM and trick them and get the upper hand. Like when Iroh was captured The Spirit World: Winter Solstice Pt. 1, and he pretended to be a meek old man and then duped them.
So, Zuko could go along with what's expected of him, and try and regain his place in the Fire Kingdom, and then destroy it from the inside out. Or find out about vital information, or something.
This whole Zuko thing is reminiscent of the whole Snape thing. Is he evil, or does he have a greater plan? Who knows...

It would be great if Zuko was faking it, but I'm not sure that's what happened. Maybe he really did join Azula, and then in the next season is going to think 'Oh, s**t, what did I just do?' and help Iroh out. Maybe he's faking it. But I don't think he'll be able to get too much past Azula.

It would be great if Zuko was faking it, but I'm not sure that's what happened. Maybe he really did join Azula, and then in the next season is going to think 'Oh, s**t, what did I just do?' and help Iroh out. Maybe he's faking it. But I don't think he'll be able to get too much past Azula.
~ heart ~ its just so frustrating... last season they kept trying to show that zuko isn't that bad... that there is something good about him.. but then they just crush that at the end of the season.. so i really do hope its not what it seems...

it wouldnt make sense if they throw away all that development. I think the creators have something planned.
