Mavrick Hunter Zero No I think the Tallgeese 3 with all the damage it took and still worked shows that it was made out of Gundamium, qualifying it as a Gundam. Because if it was just a modified Leo then it would of fallen to pieces. And Zechs spent hours fighting at that base. So there Tallgeese 3 is a gundam. (and besides it has earned gundam status) and now that I think about it I dont think a Leo could withstand that giant rail gun like thing Tallgeese 3 has. So atleast count Tallgeese 3 as a Gundam. (Phff no one cares about Triez and his silly Tallgeese 2 so that one doesnt count. And the first Tallgeese was a prototype) The Tallgeese 3 wasn't a gundam. It's never referred to as one. In the Wing universe a suit can only be a gundam if it has Gundamium armor. Zechs is an ace pilot, so yeah he could have fought that long in a non gundam type suit. So did Noin in her Taurus. It's pretty much a Leo that's been modified to be nearly as powerful as the Wing Zero.

Well, whatever I dont feel like debating this. Zechs is just an all around badass pilot and with just about anything can kick anyones a** in it (with exception of the most basic Leo's). And remember its not the gundam that makes the pilot, its the pilot that makes the Gundam. And Zechs was in Zero for a while then he got Epyon and powned with it. Just aslong as there is not debate about Zech's superior skills.
Not to mention Zechs has beat Heero multiple times or atleast made him bail out of Zero.

Actually its not a LEo either - it is basically a Gundam made out of Titanium alloys - so its not a Gundam either - it is just the Tallgeese

Well the Tallgeese was a unit that was made before Wing Zero, making it the earliest mobile suit created in the Gundam Wing series. It was made of an advanced titanium armor, but was not fitted with Gundarium because it wasn't discovered yet.
The Tallgeese II and III were just modified versions of this original unit. Trieze was killed piloting the Tallgeese II due to his lack of skill, but the Tallgeese III was a refit and rebuilt of the II and was highly upgraded with a new weapon and new thrusters.
As for those who are Zechs fans: He is a great pilot, with skills less than that of Heero, but only slightly. Being neutral on the subject, I only say that the Tallgeese III is less powerful than Epyon.
I know this because I've reviewed the mobile suit schematics on both units. Tallgeese has great firepower and mobility, but Epyon has better hand-to-hand abilities and armor.

yeah - I would like to see Duo (in Epyon) take on Troia ( in Wing Zero)
that would be a more interesting fight to me

Hmm... in all honesty, Trowa was a good pilot... But I'd rather see Duo (In Deathscythe Hell Custom) vs. Heero (Wing Gundam).
I'm curious as to who'd win. Duo Vs. Heero (In Epyon) would be too easy a victory for Heero.... sweatdrop
