'You are dark enough..or do you hide some pleasantness from me? A tendency towards compassion or the like..' Izusa blinked at his reaction. Had her words not been plain enough, the tone? She thought of familial relationships in the same vein as he did...a small voice niggled at her; right now you could be carrying Guilian's foals..but she bit down hard on that thought. 'Sarcasm didnt carry then..' she snorted in amusement. 'So he is tall...dark and always alone..' her voice trailed as she carried on moving around him. She would like him better if his tail was different though..well like was too strong a word really. 'I suppose he must have a name? Can't call him if he doesnt..everything has a name.' she rambled to herself a moment before looking up at him again.

He sneered at her. "Dark enough by color or nature? You speak non too plainly." He was merely joking, of course; not that this mare cared. The air smelled strange as the female circled him; he was falling even more into darkness now. "Sarcasm? You can only say so much--" He was cut off when she circled around him again.
"Aye... tall, dark, and always alone," he agreed, somewhat bitterly. He might as well figure out her name, if she had one, anyway. He didn't particularly wish to give away his name, but he should. In front of him stood a pure Kalona, one of the very first, perhaps, so he show respect... if some. "Windflame Bloodrider," he answered her question, though she had not asked aloud. "And you are?"

'Dark natured, and air headed.' she snorted sharply. 'Closeness of any kind weakens us. It is like an affliction...' Izusa stood still now, only the tips of her tail tendrils moved. It was an affliction she had, so she knew it only too well. 'As it should be,' she spoke in a slightly scolding way; after all, he wasnt to know of her own private affairs! 'Izusa..' she said after a long pause. 'Who gave you that mouthful?'

Air-headed? He? Surely not. He snorted, finding the term all too amusing as he had met so many that were far more air-headed than he, and truly so. He allowed her to berate him as she pleased; after all, it seemed she thought it perfect to be that way at all times. Oh, yes, he knew. "Closeness of any kind weakens us," he repeated, "but have you not noticed it can also make one stronger?"
...Okay, so maybe he was a little air-headed, but perhaps sentimental would fit better. He was a turned Kalona; he still didn't know all the ways. She spoke her name, finally, after a long, quiet moment, and he quirked an ear. His name was a mouthful? He struggled not to laugh long and hard. Ah, his name... where had it come from? His mouth twitched, wanting to display a smirk, but like her, she wasn't supposed to learn anything of his privacy... but perhaps a little history wouldn't hurt.
...Perhaps. "My mother did," he said, snorting. "Who else but her?"

'No.' she shook her head, and her wings at the same time, irritated. 'How does that kind of weakness make us stronger? Our numbers can be swelled with one act, that shouldnt be construed as a closeness, it is a necessity.' Her words didnt match her feelings but he was bigger then her. Despite how spiny she was in comparison to him, she had a feeling he could do far greater harm to her. 'I wouldnt know..I didnt know either Mother or Father.' she said, her words like chips of ice. If she had know either of them? Maybe she wouldnt have spent her formative years amongst the two-legged ones, and then that time in the burial grounds..
