Llyana heard the three knocks, followed by bickering outside her door. She brushed her hair gently, laughing at the scene she might find outside...She walked over to the door, regained her composure and opened the door slowly, peering around the corner at her visitors.

Acey could not believe how beautiful the girl was who peered cautiously around the doorway, and how she managed to hold herself so high even when she was being timid. Immediately, she was humbled by her own throw-together clothes and commoner posture. She fell to one knee and managed to say, "It is a pleasure to meet you."
Wayne, infuriated for more than one reason, attempted to quickly tap her on the lower back to remind her to straighten up and stand up, but missed by a few inches. Acey leapt up, straigtened up, and burned in the face.

Llyana finished opening the door and greeted her guest. "Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you as well...my name is Llyana." She said quietly, before beginning to laugh as Acey lept up, and turned bright red in the face. "And this handsome young fellow is?" she said with a giggle.

"Wayne," he answered, unable to smile through the shame that he felt, "It is always a pleasure to see you, m'lady. I know you will be able to help us lead your beautiful country out of this terrible war." He bowed low, and waited for Acey to speak to raise himself again.
"I'm sorry for my terrible manner...our terrilbe manner. I don't know, it's just... I've never done this before. I hope you understand," said Acey, trying to explain things a million words a minute. "Lemme slow down...is it alright if we come in?"

Llyana smiled and bowed to Wayne. "it is a pleasure to meet you as well." She then turned back to Acey..."I don't mind the manner...it's quite different from most people around here, it's actually nice to have different personalities around here..." She said, before adding, "and please do come in!" she stepped aside and waved them into her room.

When Llyana turned her back for a second, Acey made a face that said, "See? I told you I was fine the way I was." Wayne stuck his tongue out in reply, which Llyana got to see. Acey giggled, and walked in the way she normally walked. "Don't mind if I do! Thank you!" she said brightly. "Now, down to business. I'm sure...no... I KNOW you're aware of your country's current situation and those immediately around you. It has been suggested to me that I take a very...er...rash plan of action to prevent you guys from...well...destroying each other, and-"
Wayne, afraid that Acey was going to beat herself so far around the bush that she would get in trouble, interrupted, saying, "She wishes to wed you and several other countrie's leaders in order to promote peace. She is that princess, if you know who I mean."

Llyana blinked a few times before responding. "yes, I do know that my country, and many others are going through some troubling times...and I have heard of the princess who was supposed to wed us all in order to prevent devestation...so that's who you are." she said calmly, smiling over at Acey. "I would be honored to accept your request, then together, we can find the other leaders and rulers." she bowed.

((SWEET! heart That's totally awesome, but I can't say I'm surprised. blaugh ))
Acey was about to scream furiously at Wayne, but the princesses calm answer changed her mind. She had to smile as she returned the bow. Llyana kept herself so well composed that listening to her and watching her was like attending the recital of a talented flutist. "I can only hope," said Acey softly as she took Llyana's hands in her own, "That all of the other leaders are as open-minded and warm as you are."
Wayne shifted uncomfortably in the corner, waiting for Llyana's reaction to spring the beginning of the wedding plans on them. He did his best not to catch glimpses of the two girls faces out of the corner of his eye, because each moment he noticed thier happiness growing, a little part of him died.
((Baka, we'll help you jump in if you want to... I feel bad... leaving you out...'cos I loves you... crying ))

((I honestly don't think baka has read these posts yet, she's barely been on lately...XD))
Llyana smiled and grasped Acey's hand. "I'm sure several of them would be open-minded...there are others though...who might not comply as easily..." she said, shuffling her feet some as she thought of some of the other leaders...

Acey raised an eyebrow and let go of Llyana's hands slowly. "Err, could you give me some names of people I should be worried about, or do you wanna play it by ear?" she asked, a little less confident and gracious. Wayne could take no more and politely bowed and left the room.

Llyana frowned some. "I didn't mean to worry you..." she said slowly. "Lets just play it by ear, I could be wrong about the few people I had in mind...besides it's been several years since I saw them last..." she continued as she watched Wayne leave the room. "He might not want to wander too far, he could get lost..."

At Llyana's last comment, Acey burst into laughter, which she didn't even try to control. "I'm so sorry, that just struck me as hilarious! Phew, okay, I'm good. But, seriously, he won't go to far, and we'll just go with what we have right now," she replied, giggling occassionally. "That may have been an explosion of relief. I feel so lucky that I've met you! Even if we meet a ton of sticks in the mud, I feel like we can get through this," said Acey, going to let Wayne back in and shooting a quick smile over her shoulder at Llyana.

Acey opened the door and faced Wayne for one second who opened his mouth to say something, but when she heard Llyana speaking, she turned back to her fiancee. "I wouldn't mind staying the night and having a few meals if it's not to much to ask, love, but the next step is marrying you. Then, we can go on adventures together," she grinned and turned back to a very pissed off Wayne. "Mind explaining all the complicated rituals to my future bride?" Acey asked smuggly.
"Only if you're not around," grumbled Wayne.

Llyana giggled some, a sweat drop appearing on her forehead. "You two don't seem to get along very well...is that right?" she asked with an amused smile. "and yes, please explain the rituals to me...I have no idea how this is supposed to work..." she added.
