Qismah laughed and bounded around in the water. She had not expected Shilah to do that! She splashed water at him, trying to soak the stallion. This had indeed turned into a fun day. She had not had this much fun aside from playing with her brother. It was a nice change for once to play with others and not family all the time. She reared high and came crashing down full weight, trying to send a wave of water at Shilah.

Shilah laughed, he was already wet now so the splashing did not bother him at all. He smiled at her as he splashed her back. He looked up at the sky for a second only to look back at her seeing a wave of water coming at him, being unprepared he got hit right in the face with the wave of water.
He stopped for a second and just looked at her, water dripping down his muzzle, trying his hardest to look serious. Then out of no where he started laughing again as tried to send a wave of his own back at Qismah trying to get her back.

Qismah cackled as the wave of water hit its mark. Oh how hilarious he looked, dripping wet with such a serious look on his face. And then it came. A wave of water of his own. She loved playing in the water. It was the best on those hot summer days. She pranced around a bit, soaked thoroughly and looking like a draoned rat, but she didn't care. She was having too much fun. Ok so she wasn't much of a lady. Her dad always told her she should have been a colt. Such a wild spirit he said. But she would not have had it any other way.
And then an idea struck her. She burried her muzzle into the water, teeth searching for some of the mossy plant life at the water's bottom. She gathered a good sized amount in her submersed muzzle, trying to hide it inside her mouth as she lifted her muzzle with a smile to Shilah.

Shilah laughed again when Qismah got hit with his wave of water. Now she was as wet as he was at least, that way if they looked silly at least they looked equally silly together. He was happy that he found some one that he could have a lot of fun with, it made him feel like a foal almost.
When Qismah burried her muzzle in the water, he looked at curious at to what she was doing. When sh lifted her head back up and he saw that smile of hers, he knew that she must of had something planned.

Qismah walked towards Shilah slowly, and then let out a stream of water, shooting out her mouth, aimed right at his face. It was a playful trick her brother and her always played on each other. She felt light hearted and happy, very much enjoying the fun she was having with her new friend and it seemed he was enjoying it too. It was refreshing to meet a playful soquili. These days most kept to themselves or just didn't like to play.
Qismah bolted out of the water and stood on the grass by the water's edge, grinnning at Shilah. It was true. they were both wet and silly looking but at least both were soaked and goofy looking. At this point Qismah thought it might be nice to laze about and chat wile soaking in the sun to dry their wet coats. Sunbathing was oddly something she enjoyed now and then.

Shilah looked at Qismah, once again his face was dripping wet. Before he could get her back she had bolted out of the water. He laughed lightly and followed her out and stood close to her before shaking off some of the excess water which hit her. He smiled satified that he atleast got her back alittle for shooting water in his face.
He looked over at her. "Well, what shall we do now that we are all soaken wet?" He asked curious as to what she might have in mind. "What do you normally do after playing in the water?"

Qismah grinned at the tanned stallion. "Well this is the part where we dry off, lazing about in the sun and enjoying its warmth and perhaps chat for a bit." she tilted her head curiously at Shilah. "Care to join me? The grass is quite cozy and it is a lovely view." She motioned at the water, which had now settled after they had sent it rippling. The surface was still and looked like clear glass as the sun reflected off of it. To their left, the forest line was visible and to their right, they could see the entire valley stretched out.
Qismah stretched her legs out, making herself cozy as the sun bathed upon her wet coat, soaking up the water.

Shilah laughed and nodded. "Okay then, relaxing for a bit sounds nice and I love to chat." He said as he chuckled lightly and smiled sitting down in the grass. "And besides, I could always use some sun don't you think?" He said and laughed again as he strenched out a bit on the grass and smiled.
He looked out at the still surface of the water then his orange eyes wandered a bit to look around at the wonderful scenery all around the two of them. He felt like such a small part of this great big world, and he hoped to be able to explore it all. After a little while of laying there taking in the scenery he looked over at Qismah again and smiled. "So, anything particular on you mind?" He asked curiously.

Qismah chuckled at the stallion. "Well sun is always good but you look tanned enough yes? I seem to have such a pale white coat in some spots." She smiled in jest, obviously joking. She knew a soquili could not tan but it was fun to think about if they did. She imagined a sunburnt soquili and rolled over onto her back, hooves in the air laughing.
At his question she turned her head to look at him. He appeared upside down to her, being she was still on her back with 4 hooves in the air still. "I was just thinking about a sunburnt soquili and what it would look like." She giggled in fits before rolling back onto her side, her mane tossled and a mess with grass blades throughout it, a big sheepish grin plasterd on her face

Shilah laughed and joked around with her. "Oh, but I like your white spots, we won't want you getting so burnt that you looked all black." He said and laughed again with her even though he knew that would not be remotely possible. He watched her rolling around with laughter and could not help but laugh himself.
He looked over at her and laughed again. "Oh yes, I am sure in the summer most of the soquili would have atleast some red on them." He said and smiled thought about what a normally white soquili would look like if they were as red as an apple and laughed with her. "It would sure be interesting, that is for sure."

Qismah giggled at his comments." Oh you like my whiteness eh?" She winked and teased slightly, "but if I was all black with a burnt coat then I would look just like my father. He is a solid dark black stallion." She looked herself over, amused with the topic at hand and the jesting that went with it. "You know its strange how my coloration and my brother's came about. Our father is solid black, darkest of dark, and our mother the purest of whites." She shook her head thinking about it before hearing his next comment. "Oh but it would be funny and then we could run about and tap them on the burned areas for a laugh and watch as they fidget from the burn." Her eyes sparkled with that mischief yet again, something that was very common for her.

Shilah smiled back. "Oh yes, I like your whiteness." He said and laughed. "That is interesting, does your brother look more like one parent of is he a blend of the two like you?" He said and looked at her somewhat curious.
Shilah laughed and smiled again at Qismah's mischievious little plan. "I am sure that would keep you very intertained during the summer. I would have to make sure to stay away from you if I got burnt." He laughed, he could see her running and tapping sunburnt soquili then running away. They probably would even be able to catch her. Qismah was a very good runner after all, she had shown him that earlier with their race.

Qismah chuckled at his curiousity. "Well he too is also a blend like myself. However he has a white mane and tail with a few black streaks in them, but otherwise a complete blend like myself. I don't think he has the slight yellowish white in his coat that I have though in some places." She picked at the whitish-yellow parts of her coat. "Well I suppose its more a creamish color then yellow...." her ears flattened a moment as hshe studied it. She hated the creamish color in her coat.
His next comments distracted her from fussing over her coat and she grinned. "Oh yes, smacking a burned soquili on the rump would be more then amusing!" Her eyes twinkled at his comments about himself. "Oh don't worry Shilah, I wouldn't do it to you of course." She gave a sweet, innocent smile but her dancing eyes betrayed the fact she indeed most likely would.

Shilah nodded his head lightly and smiled. "Well my sister and I both mostly took my mothers pattern but got the yellow-orange color of my father. " He said thinking about it a bit. "I would have to say that I took after my mother more, and my sister took more after my father.. but I am not quite sure anymore. I haven’t seen my mother and sister since I was very little so I can’t really remember exactly.” He said and paused a bit before laughing lightly. What is wrong with yellowish colors? He thought to himself and laughed softly.
Shilah couldn’t help but just laugh when he pictured her smacking soquili on their sun burnt rumps. “That is nice of you to say about not doing it to me, but I think I will still stay away if I get a sun burn.” He said and laughed again smiling.

Qismah nodded and listened intently. She loved to roam about and look at all the pretty patterns on other soquilis. "I wouldn't mind seeing what they looked like some day! oh maybe we can go soquili watching! " She grinned excitedly. "Sound like fun? you know at some point when we have some free time. "
She giggled and bounded to her feet. "A future adventure if it sounds appealing to you?"
