Lander Meets Flyer
Robyn & Khazi

Robyn: What? No thanks for me? *Pouts all 'puppy' like*

Khazi:: -cocks his head to the side at the young pink pup- What did you do to deserve any thanks?

Robyn: Nothing... *Looks away from the older* Not like I would tell you anyways... *Hops playfully after something she thought she say hoping it would end the questioning.*

Khazi:: You are such a contradictory creature... how can it be 'nothing' and yet something that you won't tell me at the same time. -shakes his head towards the ground- Watch how you speak, young one. You could get into danger if you don't watch what you say.

Robyn: *Stops and looks back.* It's nothing that you need to know about. And are 'you' going to be the one that goes mental over that?" *Cants her head to one side, wondering about this... Nameless one...*

Khazi:: -smiles, pawing at the ground restlessly- Yes. Arukas always told me that I dwell on the silliest things. -looks back up at the pup, his eyes growing serious again- Who are you anyways? I've never seen you before...

Robyn: *Puffs out her chest a little to look larger then she really was.* My name's Robyn... I'm... kinda new here... But I bet you can tell that. *Sighs as a light red touched her pink face.*

Trying to hide the chuckles building in his chest, Khazi coughed a few times until he was over it. "Yeah, I could tell Robyn. But maybe that's just because I've been here for almost a thousand years." He stood from where he was, and unfurled his thick, leather-like wings, exposing them to the sunlight. "Have you ever flown?" he asked, with his face to the sky.

*Her head lifted up a little as she side glanced toward the male.* Fly? No, it's never come to my mind." She said all of a sudden shy, though there was a little playfulness to it. "You can... Fly?" she asked now watching him, slowly making her way back over, her tail swaying behind her. Her pink eyes watching the wings... Admiring them in a way.*

Khazi smiled and nodded, flexing his wings up further towards the sky, his front feet lifting off the ground. "Yes, I can fly quite high. And very fast. You might say that speed is... my specialty." He smiled to himself, as if it was a secret that only he and Aruka shared, and something this pup could probably never understand. He flapped his wings a couple times, just enough to lift him off the ground slightly, and to make the breeze ruffle a bit faster. He dropped back to his feet, and onto the ground. "Would you like to fly with me, little Robyn?"

*Awe struck she watched him lift off the ground before settling back to the ground, her mouth had been wide open... Attracting flies as it were... Until she shook her head snapping herself out of her shock and awe state she canted her head to one side. The tuft of 'hair' on her head a little ruffled from the breezes he had created...* "Fly? With you? I... I don't know... It would seem a little impossible for a lander like me. I... I don't have wings like you do.." *She sat down again not far from him, her head still canted to one side. Still watching his wings, thinking how she would look with wings, but doubted she would ever be more then just a lander.*

He watched her curiousity, making him curious himself. Perhaps this was only because having wings was so natural to him, but she seemed almost afraid in a way... He smiled at her cautiousness to fly, wanting to and yet unsure. "Yes, fly with me. Usually I only fly with my human, but that's just work. I hardly ever get to fly for the fun of it. And the way you're acting, I'm assuming you don't fly much either." He nosed her playfully, before laying down and spreading his wings to his sides. "Come on, climb on my back little coward."

"Human?" she muttered, not really wanting to even ask what they were. *Robyn giggled as he nosed at her, but that changed as he called her a coward.* "Coward? Why would I be a coward? You're the first of... Anything that I've met? So I'm not a coward!" She half growled at him before pouncing on his back, her tail twitching behind her. "I may also only be a pup, but someday you'll not be calling me a coward..." *Oh she didn't like being called that, it struck a nerve she didn't know she had. Tentative was one thing, cowarduos was another, and she wasn't a coward. Being her first time away from her home, she didn't know what to think of it all.*

At first only mildly humored by Robyn's little knowledge of the "hairless" breed, as he often teased Aruka about, he could not supress soft chuckles when the pup stated her boldness and courage. What could she know at such a tender age? She could not know much, considering he was the first she met. He smiled wickedly as she threw herself upon his back awkwardly. "Perhaps not someday, but this day I will. You'll want to hang on very tight back there, Robyn," he told her, his smile growing. He stood up, his wings shifting straight up, and then back down with a whoosh, shooting them into the sky. "Still unafraid?" He hoped she would say no, just so he would get to show her what he could really do.

*Wrapping her forepaws about his neck and her tail about his waist, she didn't know if it would be enouh to keep her upon his back, if she had to she would use her teeth to hold on... But that would be her last resort. Eyes tearing up as they shot into the air, the sudden rush made her close her eyes. Fur ruffling along her body she tried to open her eyes after a moment, but ended up closing them again. Too fast, too fast, squinting a little she looked around, before down... DOWN!?! Tightening her grip a little she looked back forward.* "Of.. Of course not." She said trying to be as brave as she could. "I'm not scared of being up here..." *Her ears flattened back to cut down on the wait within them from the winds, it sure was gusty up here... Looking about again, she watched the clouds and everything that was about up there... It wasn't much to say the least...*

Smiling as he felt Robyn tighten her chokehold upon his neck, Khazi went high, making large swoops as they flew over the jungle and across the island. He closed his eyes happily, letting his wings do the work, drifting higher towards the fluffy clouds in the sky, and finially through them. "Are you sure about that, young one?" He turned his head back, his eyes open, to see her cowering against his shoulder. "We could always go back if you're afraid." He turned back forward, thrusting his wings in such a way so he was flying in a backflip, finially staying where he was flying straight towards the treetops below them. He laughed heartily, having fun where he was despite the bit of pain on the back of his neck where he assumed Robyn was tightening her grip further. "Isn't this great!" When he got too close to the jungle below them, he shifted so they were flying sideways along the 'surface' of the trees, back across the island.

*She managed to keep her hold as they rose higher then teh clouds and back below, her eyes still barely open as they went. She barely heard what he had said, but had to guess it was something about being afraid.* "I'm NOT afraid!" She shouted as he looped about in the air. *Closing her eyes she felt the pull at her body as they dove toward the tree tops below and soon flying side ways. Opening her eyes a little she felt hergrip slipping. Struggling to regain her hold she slipped off his back.* "Awwww!" She cried falling backwards and off to teh side into teh trees. Crashing through the branchs she tried her best to curl up into a ball to protect her head, but it all went black when teh ground came to meet her. Laying on her side, ears back against her head, Robyn lay motionless on the ground. She was still breathing, but barely...*

Khazi smiled as the pup again protested her fear, though it was apparant that she was lying. His smile faded quickly, hearing Robyn's faint cries as she fell off of his back and into the jungle. He flipped his wings, turning back the way he came, nose diving through the treeline. Khazi's eyes scanned the forest floor anxiously, looking for the slightest spot of pink amoung the green foliage. He circled back again, finially finding Robyn up against a tree, her paws clutching her head. He scooped her up with his paws, holding her as comfortably as he could, and then flying back upwards so they could get back to beach where he might be able to help her. He laid her on the hot warm morning sand, and nosed her a bit, checking for wounds. After finding only a small cut on her head, he backed off, and watched her carefully. "Robyn... are you alright?"

*Robyn barely noticed that she had been lifted off teh jungle floor and carried back toward where they had met. Her head hurt and so didn't her side where she had landed. It wasn't pleasent falling from a great height... Not at all. Ears twitching a little she caught teh sound of the male she had been flying with. eyes fluttering open, Robyn lifted her head off the ground a little to only put it back down.* "Did someone get the name of that bird that hit me?" she groaned again trying to get up, dispite her vision swimming and her head pounding like waves against a rock. "What happened? All I remember is falling..." she said sitting up, rubbing her head with a paw.*

Candy Meets Autumn
Robyn & Akikaze

Akikaze wandered around. Due to the fact that it was no longer fall and the leaves were now blooming and green, he stood out like a sore thumb. Sighing and dragging his feet in the leaves underneath him, he was rather depressed. His time was not spring, he preferred autumn weather. Spring weather was too warm for him. His foot scraped against the ground as he kicked a rock and sent it flying a few feet ahead of him. Sighing out loud, he thought to himself, It's going to take too long for fall to come back. He wondered where everyone was and why it was that he couldn't hear anything going on around him at all.

*A soft hum came from her throat as a pastel pink and purple ninfea walked though the lengthening grass, her deeper pink eyes glancing around as her diamond studded tail waved behind her. The diamonds fanning out to look more like a fin then anything else. Spring was in the air and this young adult was looking for company... It felt like so long ago she had met Khazi... Where ever he was now... Closing her eyes for a moment, Robyn inhaled deeply to take in everything she ould with one sense, not quite noticing the stone that flew her eay and bpped her on the forhead. Blinking a couple of times she didn't quite know how to react to it... Then again she didn't think there were any others out here... She hadn't seen any anyways...

Akikaze jumped back, "H...Hello?" He couldn't quite sense the direct spot of the voice, but he knew it was somewhere to his left, but he knew it moved because he heard a rustle. "Who's there? Show yourself." He stood waiting in silence for a moment, waiting for the figure to emerge. He was new to this whole, meeting others since his last encounter with ninfea didn't go so well.

*Shaking her head and looking about, she was still far off from the others. Of course she wouldn't be seen, looking towrd the skies for a moment, Robyn turned to head toward the others. One looking smaller... The same size she had been but a short time ago before growing to be what she was. Tail swaying behind her the soft scent of fresh blooming flowers lingerings behind her with each tail swish. Giving her the protrail of a flower on legs if one wanted to think that, but she was interested in meeting others of her kind... Landers...*

Akikaze lifted his nose to the air, smelling the scent of flowers. He snorted, he liked the smell of fall, definitely not freshly blooming flowers. He liked the scent of leaves dying and the smell they gave when you stepped on them and they cracked open. The flower's smell was easily able to be traced. So, with his nose in the air, Aki set out to find the source of this wretched odor of new found flowers. Walking towards a pastel pink and purple colored ninfea, the fragrance grew stronger, Yup, it's that thing. Akikaze stopped in his tracks, terrified that if he were to get any closer that he would inevitably end up smelling just like it. He flopped his behind on the ground and sat there, staring at her.

*Robyn came to a somewhat ungraceful halt as she looked toward the ninfea that had apparently followed the scent she had been giving off. Canting her pastel colored head to one side watching him. Her tail had stopped moving and teh scent of fresh flowers also seased to fill the air. Staring for a moment she finally shook her head coming to her senses to speak.* "Hello, sorry if I disturbed you." She said backing away a little the diamonds on her tail folding up a little. "I didn't think that many were out here... Really sorry..."

Akikaze stared at her for a while before finally saying something, "You didn't disturb me at all, the smell did. Forgive me if I have disturbed you. I was just..." he paused, "following my senses." He wanted to so badly add that he hated the aroma of flowers but he figured that she had done nothing wrong so there was no need to make her feel upset. He rose to all fours, but remained his distance away. Clearing his throat, he said to her, "There are many out here, but some of them you wouldn't want to meet." He remembered Khazi and how he was treated when him and Mizu had their differences. Putting me into a cage, forcing me to sit in solitude. He snorted as he remembered the cruel punishment he was put under. "Like I said, there are some that you shouldn't want to meet."

*Robyn just watched him before shaking her own head, her ears flopping a little against her head as she did. Sepping back a little she placed herself sitting on the ground, her tail coiling about her paws.* "You didn't disturb me, I was merely walking through the trees..." She said as she looked toward the ground... *She started at her tail as the diamonds that fanned out once more. The scent had disturbed him? Looking up at the strangely colored male wondering why the scent of flowers had bothered him.. But she wasn't about to ask, wishing not to offend him of course.* "I'm sure there are some out here I won't want to meet, I've met Khazi... It didn't end too well." She said looking back toward the ground. "By the way, my name's Robyn."

"It never ends well with Khazi," Aki said, glad to know that someone understood where he was coming from. "Forgive me, Robyn did you say?" He bowed generously to her, "My name is Akikaze, it means Autumn Breeze." Aki still didn't know if he should approach her and sit near her, or if he should keep his distance. He stuck with instinct and walked up to her so that he was only a few feet away, it no longer smelled like flowers, so he could bear it now.

*She had to nod, feeling that things never ended well with that one. Canting her head to one side she watched him come closer to where she sat. Her tail thumped the ground a little as she heard his name and of its meaning. Autumn Breeze? That was befuddling, now she kinda understood why he didn't look exactly happy about the scent she had given off before.* "I don't think my name has a meaning." She shrugged as a different scent came from her tail, one more suited the scent of fallen leaves in the late summer winds.*

Akikaze's eyes widened and he tilted his head up, taking in the looming and wonderful fragrance of fallen leaves. His eyes closed and his mouth opened just a little bit. He wanted to taste the scent as well as smell it. He remembered times when he was little, he would break open leaves that had fallen just to smell them. It was scary odd that he would get almost high off the aroma of it. His crystals started to glow in happiness and he moved just a foot closer to her. "You can do that? Change the scent to whatever you want?" He didn't really care much about the scent of flowers anymore, it wasn't like that anymore. Now it was just him in his most content place... the feeling of autumn. "You didn't have to do that you know?" he said with a smirk, but he was truly glad she did, though, he would never openly admit it.

*A small giggle came from her as she shook her head, her tail waving a little filling the air with even more wiffs of fallen leaves, the essence of autumn.* "I can fill the air within any scent that one can think of that is sweet, I can not do anything that smell... Well... Disgusting you could say." She said trying to think of a way to explain it. *She watched him come a litle closer to her as she remained seated in one place, watching the crystal on his head glow and shimmer, wondering if hers did the same... She could only wonder on that thought before shaking her head. Smilng she had to giggle again, as he had said that she didn't have to fill the air with something comforting.* "Whether I had to or not, it seems that it makes you moer comfortable in this spring season."

Akikaze chuckled, for some reason he felt at ease now, almost as if he was put under hypnosis. "Correct, it makes me more comfortable because of the sheer fact that now it makes me feel as though I am around something that interests me, as opposed to something that does not." He thought about asking something that may have been a bit bold, "I am sorry for asking this, but how is it that you came about you ability? Is it something that just happened? Or did you inherit it?" He didn't have an ability, though he wanted one ever so badly. But because of the fact that he didn't have one, it caused him to be more curious and figure out why others had them and even how they got them.

*A smile crossed her face as she watched him for a moment. He seemed so at pease when the essence of autumn came from her. But when it came to asking where she got the ability she didn't righly know. She supposed that she could have inherited it... But she couldn't honostly be sure, looking toward the branches over head as if looking for an aswer she soon looked back toward Akikaze.* "I suppose you could say I inherited it, but does that really matter?" she asked tilting her head to the side a little. "Though I only found out I had the... Ability, not too long ago. Like it was laying dormet within my body awaiting the time to reveal itself..." *It was hard to explain something she herself were still trying to figure out. She was sure that the answers were out there... Hidden.*

Akikaze closed his eyes and shrouded himself in the essence of the autumn weather he loved so much and spoke quietly as if trying not to disturb it, "I am truly sorry for asking about it." He finally opened his eyes and stared directly into hers, "I was unfortunate as to not gain an ability of any kind, so my curiousity gets the best of me sometimes." A smiled crossed his face, "True, it does not matter at all where it came from, the only importance is that you have it." He debated on whether or not he should say that he was extremely happy she had that ability, but he decided against his own selfish impulse. It was for the shere fact that she had the ability to manipulate scents to be almost whatever scent she wanted it to be, even if it meant comforting others. Does she do it to comfort others? Or does she do it to comfort herself? Will she allow a sweet aroma to come off her even if she doesn't like it just to soothe those around her? Or will she only make it what she wants and what she likes? these questions bolted through his mind as he thought of all of the possibilities and reasons for her having this 'power' so to speak.

"I see no shame in the asking, if it were teh other way around I might have done the same thing." *She nodded as the diamonds on her tail seemed to glitter emmiting another wave of autumn in the air before closing off the scent for the moment, being that the air was thick with it and it was a little over welming at times.* "But one thing comes to my mind, who else would have an... Ability different then my own. But that is one question that may never get answered." She smiled soon looking around a little, thinking that she might have heard someone else near by.

Even though she cut off the scent, it still loomed in the air around him and that's all that mattered. Akikaze was grateful to her and he couldn't help but let her know. He bowed deeply and said in upmost honesty, "I am truly gratified that you have endulged me in my favorite scent. I thank you for your kindness in comforting me." He stood with such a pose that made him even calmer, "Actually, I know someone with an ability. My 'sister' Mizu. She has the ability to manipulate water. There are others like you out there." He was hoping that this would comfort her as she had comforted him.

*A frown crossed her face as he bowed to her, she wished not to be bowed to, but had to smile again. She was glad to have helped someone who wasn't pleased with the time of new growth. Raising a paw a little to her chest she giggled a little.* "I am glad to be of your assistance. And I hope to meet others with gifts of their own, but I really hope to make friend with all ability or not." She nodded placing her paw back to teh ground again, her albino like gaze lifting from Akikaze to glance around again, her tail twitching just a bit.*

"You seem a little displeased about something?" Aki tilted his head at her wondering what it was that made her frown. He felt horrible for causing a frown to be where a smile once was, so he looked to the ground. But when he felt the smile return he said softly, "I don't see a problem with you meeting another one like yourself with an ability or power. I'm sure there are tons out there who want to talk about what they are going through and what they have the power to do. I for one, would be very happy if I had an ability and had someone else with an ability to talk to." This comment actually saddened him, maybe she would feel a lot better around him if he had some kind of ability. Maybe then, they would actually be able to relate to one another and she wouldn't feel so alone. This was among the first few times that Akikaze actually got a little bummed out by a comment that he, himself, made. He tried his best to not let it show, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable around him, so he did all he could to hide his sadness from her. She is on a higher scale than me, she need'nt be bothered with my nonsense of sadness. Even though it wasn't true, it is how he felt.

"If I could chose really, I would relinquish what I have, but as fate would have it. I was gifted, but that does not make anyone any different." *She shook her head a little watching him, her tail moving to place the fan of diamonds under his chin as if to lift his gaze again.* "We are all appart of each others, ability or not." She said before standing to give in her mind, a comfroting 'nuzzle' before stepping past him. "Walk with me? If you want of course, there's much I want to see, but have no guide who knows the area... When I was little, I never strayed too far from my home."

Her kindness seeped into him and her words immediately brought his mood up. When she lifted his gaze with her tail, he knew that she was being sincere. She wasn't like Mizu at all who flaunted her powers about as if she had nothing to hide. Her 'nuzzle' brought a smile to him as he turned and faced the direction she was headed. "I would ask nothing more," he said as he walked next to her, "I know not a whole lot of the area, but I can guide you around the places that are important and where the 'good stuff' is." He couldn't help but blurt out, "When I was little, I was stuck with Mizu. We fought a lot." He didn't want this to be about him so he changed the subject to Robyn, "Enough about me, tell me about yourself? Where was your home? Who did you live with at the time? Any relatives nearby?" The questions were pouring out before he even had a chance to take a breather.

*Robyn smiled as he came to walk at her side and show her what he knew of the island. An ear twitched when she heard tell of a sister, one that wasn't very nice, but she said no comment about it. When things came around to her she looked forward, her eyes showing that she was in deep thought.* "I grew up a lone, now friends, no family. Just me and the tree I was placed in I suppose." She shrugged looking back at Akikaze. "My home? My willow tree somewhere north of here, I kinda wandered far from it in my adventure." She giggled shaking her head. "But I will remember where it is when I have to return when het sun goes down and the moon rises. That I know... You are welcome to visit the Will any time you like." She noded hoping that they could be friends.

Akikaze looked towards the ground, now he was hurt that he made her remember the fact that she had grown up alone. With no one. How could someone so nice have grown up with no one to teach her how to act? I grew up with others, and still I have an attitude problem. She seems so calm and peaceful, how is it that she got that way without someone to look up to? "I'm sorry about you growing up with no one..." Now he felt really bad as the guilt of exactly what he said seeped into him. Shuffling his feet as he walked, he listened to her describe the place she grew up. "A willow? That sounds wonderful!" He thought about what it would be like to live in one, "I would be absolutely delighted if you would show me the place you call home." He chuckled before continuing, "I have no home, wherever I am when the sun sets, is where I sleep." It was kind of odd, thinking of himself as this homeless creature that just roamed the lands, but that's what he was. He didn't have a precise "home" just wherever he felt tired.

Candy Meets Autumn
Part 2, Stone? Or Egg?
Robyn, Akikaze & Ben

"It's alright, We all find someone in time, I just happened to be slower then everyone else." She giggled shaking her head. "If at any time you want you can come by. It will be no trouble at all really." She nodded looking about. "Now, where's a good place to get something to eat? I feel as if I haven't had anything to eat in ages and it was only this morning." She blushed a little looking to the ground, not quite looking where she was going and tripped over something half hidden in the grass...

*Sticking out of the grass, was a strange brown egg like stone? How bizarre... It wobbled a little trying to keep in the light of the sun, not knowing hat it's slight wobble would cause someone else to trip and fall over it's brownish surface. The under developed Maga within the shell, uttered not a sound as it's housing was rattled, though it did send the little grizzly colored male for a sort of a loop from the rocky ride at the very least.*

"Not many here have found others yet. I just happen to have been adopted by two other ninfea," Aki spoke seriously and then lightened up a bit, "Of course I would love to see your home." He smiled brightly. His smile faded when she tripped, "Are you okay?!" he asked her, concerned about her condition. Staring at the brown egg-like stone on the ground where she had tripped, he sniffed it. "I know nothing of this." As it wobbled Akikaze jumped back, a little spooked by it, "What the ---"

*Shaking her head a little she pulled herself off the strange egg and looked at it, backing away from it as it wobbled.* "Yes, I'm alright, just a little dazed." She said shaking a little watching the stone. *Her tail raised a little and fur fuzzed out all over she watched the egg and soon stepped closer sniffing at it... What a strange thing it was...* "I wonder what left this behind? It does seem strange doesn't it?" She nodded looking from Akikaze and back to the strange egg.

*The grizzly colored egg wobbled again, rolling itself into teh warm sunlight again from wince it was knocked. Still no sound came from it, it just lay there glittering on the ground like a precious stone hat someone had lost...*

"That is very strange. It's not the first "egg" to be left alone with no one to care for it however, it's happened many times," Akikaze said, watching the egg wobble its way around as if it could actually see. "Hey there little bugga, where ya off to?" Once it stopped moving, Aki chuckled at the little egg, just wobbling around. As 'common' as it was, Akikaze was still shocked that it happened to them as they were walking. He looked at Robyn and said, "Should we just leave it? Or take it with us?"

*Robyn had to sniff at the stone again, trying to figure out what it was, ears twitched as her fur had replaced itself where it belonged. She looked at Akikaze as she seemed to pnder over what to do with the egg.* "I think we should take it with us. Can't imagine why anyone would abandon it." She said thinking back to when she woke up alone.

*The egg wobbled again as it was sniffed at, the Maga inside shifting a little. Trying to keep the shell warm from the sun's light, Trying to gather as much warmth before it was to set and the cool night air take over.*

Akikaze looked at her and said, "Of course we can take it with us! That'll be awesome! When it hatches we can help raise it like a little brother, or sister, or whatever." He blushed and put his head down, noticing that he was ranting a little. "Sorry." He chuckled slightly at Robyn. "I don't know why anyone would leave a poor helpless egg by itself... maybe fate has it so that we raise it and take care of it?" He sniffed the egg curiously. "It certainly likes to wobble," he said as he found himself laughing.

*Robyn gave Akikaze a sceptical look, we? Where did this 'we' com from? She barely knew him and now he was talking about them both raising the egg when it hatched. Raising her head a little, even if she was still a bit smaller then Akikaze she smiled and playfully nudged him, trying to knock him over to pin him to the ground.* "We? Don't tell me that you are starting to like me..." She smiled looking at him.

*The grizzly colored nera wobbled a little at the feel of the ground around it rumbling with the movement of the larger creatures around. Oh what a plite for the small thing, so easily tripped over and most likely stepped on. The still unborn Maga stirred inside it's egg enclosure, ever listening to what was going on outside, wondering of what wonders it would see once out of the Nera... Out of the ever shrinking space to be comfortable in.*

Akikaze noticed the skeptical glace that he had recieved from Robyn. He tried to open his mouth to say something but he was knocked to the ground by Robyn. He took a huge breath and tried to explain himself, "No no no, I meant that we could raise it as a brother or sister. Robyn, I am not going to lie to you. I like you very much as a friend, but honestly, nothing more. As of yet anyway. I would just really love to help raise it with you, it can be taught that we are siblings not parents." Akikaze helplessly searched about in his head, I can't like her. Not yet. We are just friends... right? Now Akikaze wasn't so sure, he still had feeling for Aruka, the island caretaker, but for some reason, he was confused about what he wanted and what he thought anymore. What's going on? I don't think I like her. No I can't. We are just friends. That's all. Since he was finally convinced that there was nothing going on he smiled a very fake smile at her, "Or you know, you could raise it by yourself if you want to." He shuffled his paws on the ground and stared down at them. Now Aki didn't know what to say, Great job Akikaze...

*Robyn gave a laugh as she pulled herself away from him, her tail twitching a little behind her. Stepping to the side she nudged him a little, still playfully of course. Her albino gaze watching him closely, watching his fake smile, but merely brushed it aside.* "Well Akikaze, if you want to care for the egg, you can, just don't get yourself into trouble now." She giggled nudging the Nera toward him. "Unless you don't think you can handle it." She added challengingly. "Because I could always led a paw to the effort so that you don't get sighted as... Well... An expecting parent by others you might meet." *A grin crossed her face as she watched for his reaction, placing herself back on the ground, ever watching him. Thinking that it was all just one game that neither side would win.* "But then again... If we both raised... Whatever it is inside the egg... It might get confused on what it really is.. Don't you think?"

*A disgruntled 'yipe' came from the nera as it was moved. The young grizzly rolled across the ground until it came to another halt... Against something warm? How odd was that? Shifting a little, the nera tried to point it's narrower end up ino the air, much like an egg in a crate... The warmth from whatever it was seemed more devine then the sun's like itself.*

Akikaze stared at her, "Oh my word. You're right. If I had the egg with me all the time, someone would think he's mine. And that would completely ruin my image." His voice was sarcastic and he chuckled, "I think it would be better if we both helped each other raise him. Not that I don't mind a challenge," he winked, "but this is an actual LIFE we are talking about." He looked down at the wobbling egg and snickered, "Besides, I don't know if I quite trust myself to handle it. Not that I can't, but I don't think I should." Akikaze remembered how he was with Mizu the day they fought and he thought it best that he never try raising something without someone else's help. A frown emerged on his face and he thought to himself that he would be a horrible father/idol -ish figure. I can't put an innocent life into that kind of environment. He looked up to Robyn and sighed, "Maybe you should take this one." He put his head down and silently refused to tell her why it was that he was backing down.

*Robyn looked at Akikaze oddly as he seemed to take her challenge lightly before turning... Well... Down upon the whole thing. Shaking her head she sat back and wrapped her tail about the Nera, soon standing and turning toward where home was presumed to be.* "I know a place where the egg can be left without fear of anything happening to it. Come, I'll show you." She said stepping away from Aki, hoping that he would come with her.

*Cold, cold on the tush, oh it was cold alright. Warm everywhere else, but the tush, why wasn't he left on the ground where it was warmer and.... what was this about a safe place? Perhaps it was warmer too? Oh he hopped so, because his wanted to be warm all over instead of cold on the tush as if sat upon ice or something.*

Akikaze smiled weakly and said, "Promise me it'll remain safe? I'd hate to leave it somewhere." He thought about it for a moment and said, "But I trust your judgment." He took a step up to her and waited for her leave. "I'm sorry Miss Robyn, but I don't feel comfortable with the life of another in my hands. I don't feel as though I would be responsible enough to raise it. Bad past you know." He didn't want to go into details even though she knew most of it, but it would be too much to ask of him without him breaking down. He was always taught to be the upper hand and to not show your emotion, but around her, he didn't have a reason to hide. She was his friend, and a darned good one at that. She's been far too kind for him to hide his true self, but still he kept some of his reasons to himself.

*Robyn smiled as she kept walking to where she came close to a strange willow who's branches dragged the ground. Soon turning in another, east to be exact. She lead Akikaze into what seemed like a bamboo forest, leaching toward its center. Where the sounds of a small waterfall could be heard and a strange cave like structure could be seen woven by the bamboo itself, naturally grown.* "Here it is. Don't ask me how all this gew in such ways, because not even I know..." She said walking into the structure. *Walking over to what looked like a nest of leaves, as if someone or something was awaiting for the Nera. turning around a little, she deposited the Nera into the nest and nosed leaves over it to act like a blanket.* "There, I don't think anything will get it out here." She said looking toward Aki.

*Ben wobbled a little as he was placed down on something soft. Stirring some he felt warmth again around him as leaves were pressed against the outer shell of his still shrinking home.* I hope I can get out of here soon. his young mind thought, hoping to be strong enough to break through the hard shell to freedom when the day came.*

Budding friendship, Blooming Love
Robyn and Akikaze + more?

*It had been a while since Robyn had seen Akikaze, she wasn't sure if he even remembered her. She sure remembered him and how he adored her ability to create any scent that she wanted, even one that made him most happy. Shaking her head from the thoughts that clouded it, she stood from her place under her tree and paced around it a moment before bounding off into the trees away from it. She had to see him again, she didn't know what compelled her to want to see the fiery red Ninfea, but something tugged at her like an invisible rope about her neck, telling her it was the right thing to do. Perhaps her budding friendship was more then just that? Could she have fund deeper feelings for the male? only time would tell and also a simple question possibly...*

Akikaze sat alone in the forest. The essence of summer lingered around him like a dark cloud on a beautiful sunny day. The scent itself made his stomach churn. He stood up, huffed, and started walking out towards a scent that was so familiar to him. His nose shot to the air and his tail twitched behind him. He knew that smell, he knew the one that carried that smell. He knew her well. And he wanted to be with her, Aki wanted to be right next to her, right beside her. He followed her scent to get as close to her as possible. He still couldn't see her, but he could smell her. "Robyn!? Robyn, where are you?!" Akikaze yelled for her, he couldn't wait to see her. Why? Why was he pulled into her? Something about her, he needed to see her, desperately needed to see her. "Robyn?!"

*Her long ears shot up and twitched as she thought she heard her name being called, Robyn looked around in the small glade she had stopped in to catch her breath. Her tale swayed behind her filling the air with the scent of autumn a scent she had come to enjoy, not as much as Aki mind you, but it reminded her of him. Lifting her head up a little she found the direction, or so she hoped at least and took off. Paws pounding the ground as she went, branches snapped at her passing, she wasn't going to slow. Something caught her albino colored eyes, something a fiery color on the other side of the bushes. Leaping over, she hadn't really thought of slowing as her pace had only quickened. Unable to actually slow down she collided head long into Akikaze without really meaning to. It seemed a mess of legs, tails and fur by the time the pair had come to a halt some feet from where they had hit. Robyn was the first to stand.*

"Sorry Akikaze, you alright?" she asked breathless as she nosed at him gently, her own body was shaking uncontrollably. "I didn't mean to do that, honest." She felt much like a pup at the moment, hoping that he was alright.

Akikaze laughed whole-heartedly at Robyn's reaction. "Calm yourself, I'm alright." He didn't know it, but his eyes were shining and twinkling at the mere sight of her. Something about her, the way she smelled, looked, spoke, just the overall way she held herself. What was this feeling? Here he was, and he was shaking more so than she was. He stood up, it took much effort with the weight on his shaky legs, but he didn't let that show. The blades of grass around his paws also danced with the fur on his body. He stared at her in the eyes, those beautiful pink eyes. "Robyn..." now he was stuttering, "h-how are you?" He didn't even bother trying to hide his blushing cheeks because his fur was so red that she wouldn't even know that he was blushing. He was however, trying to hide the fact that he missed her and that he cared about her whereabouts. His eyes looked to the ground below him and he occasionally looked up and smiled at her but his eyes were fixed on the ground.

*Robyn almost let herself fall to the ground as she heard that he was alright, she couldn't help, but think that it could have been worse, a whole lot worse then a few minor bruises that wouldn't really show past their coats. Her tail twitched in delight about seeing him again as she couldn't hold back, she stepped forward and nuzzled Aki as if he had been gone for almost a life time.*

"I'm alright, wandering a bit, now that the Nera has hatched and the maga inside has grown and moved on." She smiles thinking of young Ben. "I've missed you Aki, not a day has passed that I haven't thought of you. I was starting to wonder if I would ever see you again. How about you?"

*She looked at him, her eyes alight and glittering. At the rims it looked as if she were about to cry, but the tears wouldn't have been in sadness. They were tears of joy, happiness and... Love? Her heart raced in her chest, pounding against her ribs she was sure that Aki could heart it, she could with her own ears and within her ears. Many emotions flooded her mind, but love was above them all in respect of it all. She always wanted to be with the autumn colored Ninfea and she wasn't going to look at another in the same light...*

Aki's heart could have leaped out of his chest and onto the very ground they were standing on when she nuzzled him. The fur on the back of his neck stood up in shock, he didn't know what to do. There she was, nuzzling him, and he just stood like a dumb a**. He finally came to his senses and returned the nuzzle.

He listened to her talk about the egg that they were supposed to hatch and raise together. His head went down and his eyes filled with sadness. We were...supposed to raise it... together. I-I wasn't there for her... I wasn't there for the egg. He looked up at her and tried to fake a smile, "I've missed you as well Robyn." Even though I wasn't there for you when I should have been. His fake smile faltered not once.

He could hear her heart beating. Though he could not tell if it was pounding or not. He was too distracted by her scent and very presence to notice something so petty. At least he thought it was petty... even though in the back of his mind, he was wondering if she could indeed sense that his heart was near bursting out from its little spot inside his chest and behind his ribs.

*Robyn watched Aki as he looked toward the ground. Her pastel colored head tilted to one side as she watched. Blinking a couple times she nuzzled him again, she wasn't there much for the Nera either, it kinda hatched and grew without her knowing until the maga happened by her tree one blissful day. She wasn't even sure if she could or should tell him of the small bundles that were growing within her, gems they were in a sense, but still living creatures.*

"Aki..." She looked at him, sitting down before him. "I know we were going to raise the maga egg together, that one slipped away from us both." She looked away a little ponding what to say and how to say it. "But there's something else..." Here it came. "Aki, I think I'm pregnant.." She said watching him for a reaction. "And I believe you are the father of them." Her voice soft and gentle, hoping not to scare him too badly.

If his ribs hadn't have been in the way, Aki's heart would be lying at Robyn's feet. His weight suddenly felt too great to hold up and he collapsed. "And you are sure of this, I mean, them being mine?" After she nodded, he felt strangely dizzy. "Robyn, what have we done? I don't think I'm ready to be a father. I don't think I can be. I mean... I've abandoned you, not on purpose, but still. I left you with the egg. I was supposed to be there for you and I wasn't. I'm not a good guy, I'm no family-ninfea. I'm just... me. They will hate me, just like the only family I know hates me. Just like all of the other friends and ninfea that I've met hate me. Oh god."

There was fear in his eyes as well as happiness. He couldn't help but stop and think for a moment, his thinking came aloud, "Oh my god. I'm going to be a father!" He gathered all the strength that he had and leaped off the ground and kicked his back legs into the air. "I'm going to actually be a father!" He looked at Robyn and he stood with such a proud posture, anyone would be able to tell that he was indeed, very happy. Looking into her eyes he said, "I'm going to be there for them. For them, and for you."

*She blinked as she watched him collapse onto the ground. Her pale eyes watching him with concern as she laid down near him, her pastel tail wrapping around him as she nuzzled him all before he stood looking proud, declaring that he was going to be a father. Robyn couldn't help, but giggle as she watched him go from completely down to absolutely excited about being a father. Rolling over onto her side she looked up at him.*

"You'll be a great father to them Aki. Don't doubt yourself for something we both lost track of. Ben has taken care of himself and seems to be just fine on his own." She smiled rolling onto her back a little. "This time will be different, they will be ours, flesh and blood ours."

*A small pained look crossed over her face as her tail twitched. Was it that time already? No, it couldn't have been. They had only just seen each other again and it didn't seem like she had been pregnant too long. Ok, maybe it was time, but there was still so much to do and so little time. Rolling over onto her belly again, she placed a paw upon his and looked up at him with a small smile.*

"Aki, I have a feeling it's that time." She smiled watching him. "Your children seem to want into this world, though they will only be but gems as we were way back when." She nodded closing her eyes as a shiver traveled through her body.

"So his name is Ben? That's awesome," Akikaze smiled at her, "Yeah, they'll be all our own. Crystals made from love." Aki was serious, he was having feelings for her that he had never actually felt before. He truly did love her, with everything in him. Something about her, rather yet, everything about her, made him want to be with her forever. He never wanted to leave her side to begin with. And now, especially now, he would never leave her side again.

When she twitched he got scared, "Robyn? What's wrong?" She touched his paw and he thought that he would melt into a fiery red puddle. He listened while she told him that she thought it was time. Aki jumped up and somewhat panicked, "Do you need me to get you anything? Some leaves or something? I'm not exactly sure what to do. Just tell me what you need and I'll go and get it in a jiffy. Anything at all?" He nuzzled her and almost cried at the thought of being a father. The thought of it, little bits of himself running around, more importantly, little bits of his lover mixed in with it. They would be one, and from the sounds of it, in many little ways. "Whatever you need Robyn, I'm here."

*Robyn gave a pained giggle as she pulled herself to her paws and leaned against Aki for a bit of support. Her head sagging to come up under his chin as she soon stepped away and over toward where the grass was much thicker and would prove handy for a bed. There she laid down again on her side as her breathing had come quicker.*

"All I need Aki, is your love and support." She smiled at him as she laid her head down on the grass.

*Closing her eyes it had begun and she could feel that there would be a large litter coming. Bracing herself she began, after what seemed like hours six freshly laid Cristallo gems lay in the grass not far from Robyn. Her eyes remained closed as her breathing still came in great gasps. The gems glittered within the dappled sun light, one, a pale tan color that was graced with both markings of the parents gave off a strange scent. It seemed like the scent of autumn, how strange was that? Much like it's mother's ability, this one was centered around one season only.

The others seemed to glow in their own light, all were special and all were precious to the couple. She had turned a little and had come to lay near the gems, nuzzling them before looking up at Aki, knowing that he was always there to support her with his love and care. They would pull through, like they always knew.*

Aki nuzzled against her head as she pushed out their children. His own cheek was covered in the sweat that his beloved was giving off, not that he cared. "M'lady, you can all of the love and support that you could ever imagine." He stared as she gave birth to not one, not two, but six. Six. Six wonderfully beautiful crystals carrying colorings of both their mother and father. His face was expressionless but in reality he was screaming in joy inside of himself, he was just too dumbfounded and at a lose for words.

His nose caught the scent of autumn. He pinpointed its location to own of his own crystal children. "That smells amazing!" He turned and looked at Robyn, "Robyn...they are gorgeous... just like you." Aki paused and looked at all six of them, individually. "I can't wait until they can actually see it's going to be -" he was cut off by something jabbing him on his paw. Looking down, he saw that it was of his own, a blue one, colored like the markings on its mother. "Hey there you, let's not rush things. One step at a time," Aki said through a smile as he nudged the blue crystal back to the group.

He walked over and around Robyn, who seemed extremely exhausted, and licked her cheek. "I love you Robyn. I truly, deeply, and passionately love every single part of you." Aki flopped to the ground and rested his head gently on her side, staring at the beauties that they created with pure love.

*Robyn licked Aki back as her tail coiled around the gems to make sure that none would 'wander' away from her. Though the autumn scented on shifted to try and be as lose to its father as it cold. thin ribbons of scent coiled off it's pointed peaks and into the air. Robyn nuzzled her newly born young and laid her head down to rest, her ears ever twitching as she listened to their surroundings.*

"You know Aki? We'll have to name all these pups when they hatch." She smiled sleepily. "But I have a feeling that autumn scented one will try and be head of them all, I can tell already." She giggled opened a tired eye before it closed again.
