While we are on the subject cons -- anime/scifi/fantasy/whichever -- does anyone know if there what and when the good ones are in New England? I'm just moving back there (here), and I'm still trying to get my bearings... sweatdrop

tahariel otakon was -amazing-...seriously amazing. you all should have come and let me glomp you. but, seeing as you didn't i can let you know that i had tons of people take pictures of me (i was dressed as black rose from .hack//) and that the rave was great and that there was more hot loving abound than i could really stand. if you ever have the chance, come to otakon. i demand it heart I heard there was a Fruit ******** cosplay, did you see it?

There was a convention where I live but it was mostly kids who liked Yu-Gi-Oh and older men who liked the school girl yuri mangas. I was like one of ten maybe when I was there who put any effort into their cos-play. And I didn't bring a camera to get any pictures! I was Miki from Revolutionary Girl Utena and my friend went as Juri. Sadly, there was no rave. I'll have to go next time there is one in Maryland.

I wait all this time for my local bookstore to get the last two volumes of [FAKE], and they never appear. Then I go to the other side of town to an independent store, near my summer school, and they've been waiting for me all this time... I don't know whether to to be happy or angry.

Vague I heard there was a Fruit ******** cosplay, did you see it? umm...i don't know. i saw alot of fruits basket people...and a large banana...and a tentacle...it was an odd otakon o.O Izumi-san That sounds like so much fun! A tentacle...? crying ! NO! that's my ultimate cosplay plan for Otafest next year! I'm gonna stick tentacles out of my body and pretend to be a tentacle monster from fangirl made yaoi hentai!! And I'm also gonna make a sign saying "Feed me [the yaoi tentacle monster] 3nodding "
