They lit the cloak on fire and the outside burned merrily, while Fezzik remained unharmed inside))

Bobby spent his time (when unobserved) over the next few days making string - unraveling threads from the end of his wool blanket and braiding them together. He also started saving bits of food from his meals, simply not chewing the last bite and waiting for "George" to leave before spitting it back out. He placed the food on the floor in the corner of the cage closest to the crack where he had seen the gleaming eyes.

With a lot of patience, and using the saved food for bait, Bobby manages to catch the rat. He ties the string that he made around it as a harness, and tucks in a folded piece of paper. Then he lets the rat go, and pays out the string at it runs back through the crack in the wall.

Bobby rested in the new quarters assigned to him, recovering from the battle outside the city. The last he'd seen of Ruby, she was leaving for the "War Shelter" - some kind of field hospital that was supposed to be neutral territory - which meant that they'd heal anybody, and both the AoS and AoH took turns shooting up the place. He hoped she'd be OK.

It seemed quiet in this part of the Citadel. He knew that the rooms next to his were occupied, but nobody was home just now. He went back to work, going over the EMP grenade design he had re-created from memory. He wanted to make it work against Pure Energy devices, but to do that, he needed to know more about how the devices worked. He tossed down his pencil and got up. Somebody here had to know more about Pure Energy... He headed out to find them.
