Lee looked at the dot and then found where they were on it. He looked around in all directions for a brief moment and then said, "alright". Lee then sld across the sand and dirt so that he was right next to her and then picked her up. "It will be faster this way". Lee said to Kou. And then he sped across the desert. He was able to move so quickly because every time he would lift his leg the earth would stick to his feet and give him an extra jolt when he pushed back down.
After about twenty minutes had passed they finally had arrived at the oasis that was marked on kou's map and then he set her down. "Here we are. Do whatever you need to do and then you can spar with me." Lee said to Kou.

Kou pouted when she got down, trying out for herself how ground would stick to her feet. She managed to get some, walked around, but it was a bit more brittle than Lee's version. "I guess this means more practice for me," she said. She went inside the the tavern, and dropped her goods by the counter. "How much woud these cost, old man?" she asked. The man gave her some gold, which she used to buy some drinks for her and Lee.

Lee waited patiently for Kou while he twirled three small stone in the palm of his hand. "Don't trip on it Kou. You'll get better." Lee spoke.

She finished all her water in one gulp, re-filled her canteen then stood up. She rolled up her sleeves and clapped her hands once. "So, shall we begin?" she asked.

Lee nodded in agreement and walked outside to an open area. He stood in his Iron horse stance and waited for Kou. "I'll let you make the first move." Lee said to Kou.

She stood on her stance and took a deep breath. She didn't have much knowledge on fighting using Earthbending, since her mother only thought her moves that were useful if you were working with plants. Still, it wouldn't hurt to try. She stomped, raising up a small pack of earth which she punched towards Lee.

As the patch of dirt hurled toward Lee he sung his right arm over and his left arm across so that the would cross over his chest. While his did that, a patch of earth rose and followed the motion of his right hand. As it followed it engulfed the patch that Kou had hurled at him. Then Lee motioned the pile of earth to shoot at kou by shooting his right arm straight in front of him.

When Lee had a chance he then bended a thin layer of stone around his feet and hands. However they looked like the stone gloves and shoes the dai lee use. He thought that he he bended more while in this fight then he would learn to bend on reflex.

Kou stomped again, raising a patch of earth that was slightly larger than what was flying at her. She punched the rock right at the middle, creating a hole. She quickly shifted her right arm upward and her left arm downward, then the opposite, to face the attacking rock. The rock shot into Kou's hollowed out rock. She kicked it back towards Lee.
"Pot-making 101!" Kou boasted. "Who knew it would actually be of use?"

As the rock hurtled at Lee he spun an entire 360 degrees and used to force at which it was thrown and spin it around to shoot it back at Kou. However once he released it he stomped on the ground with his right foot and then punched the two head size rocks at kou.

As the three medium sized rocks flew toward Kou, Lee then started running toward her right behind the flying stones. His intention was to catch her off guard and attack when she was dodging the stones.

Kou cursed under her breath as she ducked for cover. Two of the huge rocks flew past her head, the other one was going to land on her back, had she not managed to cover herself with earth at the last minute. The rock fell down on her shell and rolled down the ground just a split second before the shell broke. Kou crushed the rock under her foot. She raised three smaller rocks inches above her head, then another three just below her neck, two by her hands and one by her stomach. She pushed them towards Lee, the smaller rocks flying much faster than the earlier large ones.

As the rocks flew, she kicked off her sandals. The sandals hurled towards the same direction as the rocks she pushed earlier. He could certainly earth bend, she thought, but she doubted that someone had already managed to discover a way to bend flying footwear.

As the rocks shot toward him. Lee brought his arm over his head motioning a wave of earth to engulf the stones. He managed to get most of them however one of the stones clipped him in the shoulder. But he kept running and once he got to where Kou was he started throwing punches.

Kou managed to block the punches out with her arms, although they did hurt a lot. She feinted to the right then ran left, slipping back into her sandals. So much for that idea. She got behind a huge rock, which she shattered with a kick. Now armed with a huge pile of smaller rocks, she pointed forcefully at Lee, took one step forward and sent a wave of earth towards him. She then ran behind Lee, aiming a kick to his back.
