The text is more visible but you didn't have to add anything special to it. When using abstract brushes, you don't need to do any blurring, just let it all mix together by itself.

Maybe it should be called: "Various Effects to Enhance Text".

I never enhance my text(I don't really know how to), I just let my text flow with whatever I made it to go with.
