Naoya, Sota, Kimeru, Nagayan, Tuti, Eiji, Abe... er..i started off naming my top 3 and then i realized i love all of them.. so i guess its the first cast for me..but i still love araki..

Prepare yourselves...
First Cast set the standard and Second worked hard to earn respect but I have to say Third (as a whole) is my favorite now. Their growth (vocally and actual performance ability) and character development in Rikkaimyu bowled me over completely.
TakiYukixSeto!Golden Pair blew NagayanxTuti!Golden Pair out of the water (just look at Seto's beautiful smile through the song and TakiYuki's incredible Oishi fanboyism).
Aiba is Aiba. His Fuji was already heavily influenced by Kime-sama and he worked so hard on his voice and mothering the new cast. He's up to his recorded singing level now and I'm so proud of him.
Doori's Ryoma has stopped slurring and can actually carry a tune (no offense to the Endo/Yanagi fans but honestly... they couldn't sing to save their lives - and not counting Kime-sama). Not to mention he is SUCH a teenager it's adorable. *coughCAMERAWHOREcough*
Masei's Inui actually looks like... well... a nerd - I still love Sota and Araki though, for the record, they made Inui sexy. He and Ono's Renji match.
Minami looks and acts like Tezuka (though he still needs to cut his hair more). No one can beat Shirota's in singing but his Tezuka is very much HIS Tezuka (TakiEiji's Tezuka was fun too). And I like to call Minami "The Tezuka who wasn't there."
Taka-san (because there are too many Watanabe's and it's just easier) is just right. Konii was good too, but Taka-san's ad libs are just fun. The fact that I honestly cannot think of First Cast's Taka-san's name right now just tells me I was only ok with him.
Shinpei... scares me. But he has the Momo eyebrows.... And he's a nice guy. Yeah... I just like Manpei better... He's prettier. Kaji's Momo is the best in my opinion but Shinpei tries.
Tomo is... gods he's adorable. He and Seto are like a set to me. He tries and I think it was a good performance for his first time. Kujira-chan is my favorite Kaidoh though, he could be adorable one second and change into Kaidoh the next. It was impressive. I also love his Kaidoh voice so much it burns a little. Naoya's face bothered me a bit. I like him, but his face bothers me in an unsettling way.

second cast! *cough hyoutei cough* xd and because they were the first cast i watched so... sweatdrop i just love how they're so dorky backstage :]
the rikkai cast is cool too 8D especially because of the panda slippers of DOOM!!
but still... second cast is love heart

My favorite has got to be the second cast. I love Shirota and Aiba.
Although I absolutely adore the 3rd generation Golden Pair.

Heh, I've always been a second cast fan, since that was the cast I first watched. =D Plus it has Aiba, Shirota, and Hyotei. <3
Third cast is awesome because of Aiba, Seto, and Doori. >w< And RikkaiDai + Irei.
I have a feeling fourth cast is going to be awesome as well (but Aiba...-sob-)

I'll have to say the Second Cast heart
I didn't see them first, but Shirotan, Zukki, Yanagi and Aiba won me over instantly. 4laugh
I was torn up when I found out about Yanagi. crying So now everytime I watch DD-Boys I wanna cry!
I do love the First Cast, though.
Tuti and Nagayan are such a cute couple, that you can't help but to adore them. whee
But I'm not quite sure what I think of the Third Cast, except for Aiba...

Third cast is cute and probably the most alike to their characters. Second is cracky and wonderful singers and dorky and fun.
But first is first. They were my first cast (my first myu was the extra Fudoumine with double Ryoma) and seeing them onstage just crying like that made me fall in love with them forever.
No matter how much I love the other casts, first remains the best in my heart. I have always admired their toughness, their ability to keep it together despite the fact that their cast was constantly changing. They are always winner. heart
(sorry, I know I have stupid puns.)
Fourth seems beautiful and smexy and the most promising of casts. It's the only one I've loved right off the bat, other than first which didn't really count, as I had nothing to compare it with and they were just awesome anyway.
As otou-sama said: Tomo. OMAE WA TENIMYU NO HASHIRA NI NARE.
Inspire them all. ;~~; They're already that good--all you need to do is keep them aching to be national-level like you already are.

Cafekko: Third cast is awesome. >w< Doori makes the most wonderful Ryoma (I have a feeling I'm going to like fourth cast Ryoma, though), and Aiba. Oh, Aiba. >w< The whole RikkaiDai cast is amazing. But second cast were my first cast, so I'll always hold a special place in my heart for them.

I'm a huge second cast fan. First cast was a good standard setter and I do love NagayanxTuti for the golden pair, but overall I love the second cast! The singing was better as a whole, the dancing was much better, and you get Shirota and Aiba.

I'm kind of indecisive about my favorite ...probably second? With pickings from first and third ...because come on, Tuti and Moriyama are TOTALLY teh smex ...and Seto and Dori are too cute to ignore.
Hyotei and Rikkaidai will forever be my favorite ...schools and boys.

Doori is my favorite Echizen also, with the exception of Kanata Hongo. =D
And Nagayan has to be my favorite Eiji. >w<
