(XDD I didn't post in the month of may. I think you have some grief days left XDD)
"Of course not" Ryu replied uneasily. Not looking forward to the meal, she fallowed Shira's glance towards the smoke. "I read a good review about this place" she stated calmly, making a meager attempt at small talk. The girl, however, keep peering over her mother's arms and at the boy. Those eyes.... the vibrancy was attracting. She had seen her own in a mirror many times before, but this being her first encounter with a different type, her precognitions of all eyes bring the same had been shattered in the most beautiful of senses.

"Really? I guess I won't have to be worried about checking my food then." Shira's tone sounded as if it was meant to be a joke, but the look on her face said otherwise. Her feet started towards their short destination. Shira proved to be even worse than Ryu's. The minute it had taken them to get there, Shira did nothing but bite her lip in random thought. What'd I give for coffee right now...
"Here we are." A bell chimed as Shira held the door open for the both of them, Demos being able to hang from her neck like a little chimp. She was able to see that the inside was nicely decorated, if a bit cramped, with bright pictures and signs of the house specials on the walls- the sun shining through large windows that warmed the place up a bit.
While Demos had been hanging on Shira, the whole time he was staring back at the reason he'd convinced his mother to stay. He was curious, he'd never met another like him. He was rarely even let out the house. But now that he was able to interact with another he was scared nonetheless. His face was hidden behind his mother's shoulder as he blinked at her, green orbs conveying his confusion when she kept glancing at him.

(New season, new mule x3 I'M SORRY.)
Ryu inhaled deeply. The scent of fresh basil and fried rice wafted trough the air, calling her name. "It has a beautiful atmosphere, I must admit" she jested, gently running her fingers through the child's soft curly locks. Though having her hair tenderly caressed, the girl didn't seem to notice. This strange area was FAR more interesting. "Gah!" she quacked, sticking her hand out to something on the wall. Her mother's apartment was bathed in so much red and black, this change of scenery was not only welcomed, but coveted. Scents both familiar and foreign tickled her brain, stirring up all sorts of questions she couldn't yet ask. Again, she glanced at the other child-- as if gaging his reaction, to see if her own was adequate.

Shira nodded in agreement to Ryu's comment. They were approached by a waitress who's smiled stretched her face a bit unnaturally.
"Hello! Welcome to the Ken Kee Resturant. How many?" She said with the largest amount of cheer she could probably muster, as much as it frightened Shira.
"Two adults and two...children." Shira had to remind herself of the last bit.
"Alright then!" She grabbed two menus and led them to a small table to their left, right next to a window where the sun already warmed the two seats that were there. "Would you like two high chairs?"
"Um..." Shira looked at her son, as if she were supposed to receive some kind of sign of him. Unfortunately for her, he Demos had been consumed with trying to attain the oh-so-far shiny objects that hung on the walls; this being the light reflecting off the framed pictures. No one would know the sheer concentration and will it took to attempt to grab one of the gorgeous shiny things that atoned those walls! To the rest of the world, he looked like a baby trying to grab random fuzz that was floating in the air.
He didn't notice his previous star of attention's glances at him, nor his mother's, and so Shira nodded to the waitress. "Sure. I'd like one." The waitress looked to Ryusuke for her answer.

"One moment." Ryu spoke, calm and stern. Gently she jounced her charge. "You will sit in a chair and behave yourself. You will not crawl down or squirm. Understand?" Aurora tilted her head to the side. "Ah....?" "Understand?" the mother repeated. "O.... aaa <3" the baby answered, smiling and giving a rather enthusiastic nod. That's mommy's stern tone! Better not cause any trouble. <3 A quick nod off approval to her daughter aside, she looked back to the waitress. "No thank you. That won't be necessary." Situating her daughter in her seat, she quickly fallowed suit. She scanned the menu for something her daughter would like. Aurora, however, was far more amused with the company. She studied Demos with wide and intrigued eyes, which slowly drifted in the direction he was grabbing at. "Uuuuu..." she purred quietly, admiring the shineys. They're so close. I bet I could...! She too began to reach, but was quickly stopped by a stern look from her mother. "Aurora." "Aaahn~" she apologized, sitting straight and putting her hands on the table.

Shira sat with Demos in her lap while waiting for the waitress. When the woman returned, smiles and all, she dragged the chair next to Shira and immediately pulled out a pen and pad.
"Could I start you women off with any drinks?"
Shira glanced at her menu and didn't take to long with her response. "I'll have a green tea, please. And fruit punch for him," Shira nodded towards the boy she was currently placing in the chair next to her.
"Da?" Demos looked up at his mother and only blinked when he was placed into the chair. Being separated from his mother he thought only one thing: Rejection. The over-reacting thought didn't seem too un-rational to him, and it didn't sit well with the little guy. At the thought of doing something wrong he began to sulk. What could he have possibly done to make his mom upset? Why didn't she want to sit with him?
His thoughts made his gaze wander from the table to his new acquaintance. He sent a questioning glance her way, as if asking her for an answer to his unspoken question.

"Green tea does sound lovely. One for me, please. And milk for my daughter." Aurora, who at this point was being pet like a dog by her mother, chewed idly on her spoon. Mmmmm, Aluminum. Again, her eyes darted back and forth between both the two adults and the child. "Dyaaaaw~ Ba!" she squeaked cheerfully, raising the slightly wet spoon to the air. Everything'll be dandy, just you wait and see! .....Well, that's what it was supposed to be, but... To a three-year old, who knows? Of course, this was met with a strange look from her mother. Aurora quietly put down the spoon and looked down, again behaving like a good little girl should. Ryu simply smiled and stroked the girl's curly locks, giving her a soft kiss on the head.

As Shira stared at the menu she saw out of the corner of her eye Demos's saddened face. A barely audible, tired sigh escaped her lips. She kept most of it on the insider, mainly because Demos had been getting better about his clingy/constant bawling the moment he lost physical contact with his mother. Even though he sulked constantly, it was an improvement nonetheless that would help him in the long run.
Shira ran a hand awkwardly through his short red tresses twice, and went back to holding her menu. Immediately Demos had perked up and leaned in for more, but, thanks to his short attention span, he caught the sight of something else shiny flying around and shifted at the sound of the younger female across the table.
At her baby babble, Demos responded with his own. "Da?" Huh? He smiled albeit shyly, finding her attitude a bit infectious. "Daaa dann da!" I can be happy too! He mimicked, though even his baby vocabulary was limited.
"So...what brought you around this part of town?" Shira occupied herself with the labels of eccentric cuisine while failing herself at conversing with another.

"A bit of this, a bit of that" Ryu mused, twirling the confiscated spoon between her fingers while looking over the menu. "Mmm... Walnut... To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why we were out. Just the weather, I suppose. And you? Besides book shopping, of course." Aurora's playful smile returned, Demos's happier voice tickling her ears. "Aah diiigi dooooo~!" the goddess sang in a tone just barely powerful enough for the boy to hear, though she fully knew that this nonsensical jabber was just that-- nonsense. Any louder and her mother would scold her again-- but this volume was enough to get the job done. "Oo...?" Round and round... the spoon again twirled in her mother's fingers. She reached out for that which sparkled in the fluorescent lights. "roooooowaaaaa?"

Shira made a small smile. "A little grocery shopping." She tilted her head to the bags on the floor. "We were running low on a few things at home, and I just got paid. So we made our way over here." Shira turned the page to her menu. A picture of well-done looking meat with a few peppers caught her eye, the subtitles underneath it reading: Beef Tenderloin in Black Bean Sauce. "I guess I'm lucky I didn't buy anything that spoils."
When it registered how harmless and happy Aurora was to stay, Demos lightened up and clapped at Aurora's hushed tone, telling her that he indeed heard and was most amused. His reaction was just about the same as her's when he caught sight of yet another sparkling object; but unlike Aurora he kept his distance. Although he quickly warmed up to Aurora, he wasn't sure about her guardian.

"Yes, quite lucky indeed. I don't know, all of this just seems so coincidental.. It's a bit unsettling." Ryu's eyes drifted over the top of her menu towards the boy. It has to be be his doing.... He must be one of them. A soft sigh passed her lips and again she flicked through the menu.
Aurora's small arm reached far for the spoon, making a soft whimper when her mother's hand extended further out of reach. She watched, ever so intently, as it drew closer and closer to her mother's lips and.... was kissed? "Uung....?" Did mummy just kiss a fpoon? This thought was fast washed away as the spoon soon returned withing an arm's reach and promptly released from it's captor's grasp. Quickly, she grabbed hold and held it again in the air. "Buwaan!" I AM VICTORIOUS!

Shira's brow twitched. Surely she did she imagine the underlaying meaning of Ryu's tone? She noticed Ryusuke staring at Demos, and suddenly she wasn't in the mood to attempt small talk.
"Coincidence." Shira said after a small pause, and looked up to locate the waitress. She wasn't going to be too terribly obvious, and said her son's possession of power in a casual tone. Maybe the reincarnated God was the cause of this meeting- she'd no idea if he was even able to have powers at his age- but that didn't mean that Ryu was another guardian. "He's coincidence." She repeated a second later.
If Ryu seemed confused she would know she assumed too much, and she'd come up with something to say after.
In the meantime, Demos was clapping and giggling obscenely loud to Aurora's accomplishment. "Daaaaaaaa!" He praised, and threw his hands in the air; causing Shira glance at the two in confusion and amusement.

The adults eyes flicked again to the child, then back at the mother. Her tone wasn't intentionally rude, by all means no. It was just a common habit overlapping her work persona into her ever-so-minuscule social life. It took her a moment to realize what was meant... But she gave a a small, hidden smile. Pondering how to reply, she looked over at her own daughter, who now played happily with her prized shiny. "Demonic..."
Yes, as hard as it was to believe-- this small and fluffy ball of happiness was one day to grow into the goddess of the demonic. "Baffuuuw" Aurora purred, wiggling her silvery toy between her fingers, the heavier end jouncing the rod with each downward thrust. But wait, what's this? As one of the golden wall decorations entered direct sunlight, it send a few rays of light splattering through the room. So if I pull the spoon back a little, and into the light.. OH! Aurora gave a slight squeak as the light reflected from the spoons handle and onto the ceiling. "Waaaahhh....<3"

A smile flitted across Shira's face at the small bit of comfort she felt knowing that she was in the presence of someone else who knew what she knew; of just what Shira had been going through."Interesting. I didn't think I would run into a goddess at the market."
Demos's eyes lit up as he noticed the splashes of light that Aurora had discovered. It was so pretty! How was she doing it? Taking notice of the spoon, gears turned inside the boy's head before he realized just how the girl was creating the magic like lights. "Da!" Greedy hands now reached for the spoon; envious of the power she held.
"Here we are!" The waitress came out with a tray that held the beverages, and handed each woman and child their respective drinks. Putting the tray underneath a shoulder and taking a pad from her pocket, she looked up at the ladies with yet another smile. "Are you two ready to order, or would you like more time?"

Aurora's eyes drifted over the table towards the grabbing motions made by the other child. She studied him for a moment, then realized what he wanted. She looked up at her spoon then up to the light. "Daa...." Frowning slightly, she put the spoon on the table and did her best to slide it over to him.. Alas, her small but strong arms had pushed too hard, sending the spoon to the floor.
"Ye, Miss. I'm read--" Ryu's sentence was cut short by the whizzing piece of silverware over the table. Brow furring slightly, she looked over at her daughter. Rora's lip pouted, long lashes batting over her wide, sparkling eyes. "Thoooo..." she apologized, in her child's speak. Ryu couldn't help but give her a small smile. Gracing her daughter with a soft love-pat, she bent over, retrieving the fallen treasure. Taking her napkin to properly clean the utensil, she continued the order. "Yes. An order of pepper chicken for myself, and a small dish of mashed potatoes for her," Ryu nodded to the young girl who's focus remained on her mother's hands, "If that would be alright."
