light because he just seems to be Evil. but then if you think about it hes not 100% EVIL..but in general i find him evil.

I really don't like Mello and Near, the so-called replacements of L. Basically, Near just picks up where L left off and takes credit for what L found out. Then he has that arrogant attitude as if he's soooo smart just because he knows who Kira is. [Edit by mod, Highlight for spoiler:]He doesn't even compare to L's level and gets completely outwitted by Light (of course we all know he would've won if Mikami hadn't screwed up). Then there's Mello... To put it rather simply, he's an idiot. When Death Note was originally based on cleverness and wit, Mello comes along with his little gang and takes the Death Note by force. Then the writer of Death Note completely exaggerates Mello's plans with extravagancies such as a freaking rocket ship and a secret, underground base. Seriously... What the hell is that? Yeah.. Those two piss me off.

Aeriael I don't like L or Near. I couldn't explain it if I tried. I just don't like the way they are. Near moreso than L. I don't like Misa either. Shes just too airheaded. Ironically I really like Matsuda. Figure that out. how can you not like L!!!!!!!! I dislike Misa, but I don't completely hate her. She's just kind of...an idiot. But I do feel bad for her.
I didn't like Mello at first either. But I grew to like him more as the story moved on.
Near was eh for me. they made him too much like L (don't get me wrong, I love L), almost a clone, but not by genetics, and just part of his personality bothered me.
I didn't dislike Raito, 'cept for the way he acted at the very end. It was TOO much out of character for me. But I don't really think he was "evil".

gets cheated on later on in Volume 10...with that newsreported woman...
I love Teru for some reason. I think I just like the story behind him and I think he...makes a good second Kira.

I dislike Misa. I'll admit she's really pretty, but having beauty isn't nothing not if you're not bright. I use to think talking in 3rd person was funny, but she killed it for me. crying

Hate is a rather strong word for fictional characters, no?
On another note, I dislike Light and Near by the end. I liked them the first time I read through it, but now that I'm reading through it again, they're just getting really boring. -_-.
Also, Takada bothers me... She had a lot of potential, but then just ended up being another girl that Light uses to meet his goal. (Misa is forgiven for being one of these because of her adorable-ness.)

Raito. his whole theory of elininating "bad people" from the world in order to make it a righteouse place is just phsycotic. He has such a big ego, it really annoys me. Plus [HIGHLIGHT FOR SPOILER]he found a way to kill L!! crying

ewww takada.
and i seriously hate the way Raito thinks, but I love him and how clever he is. It is hard not to be on his side, i must be weak willed ;x
but i would never agree with what he is doing.
I also hated Sidoh. IT ALL COULD HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS.
