Once when I was really tired during sacrament I started fiddling with a pen I had in my scripture case. I was flipping the lip up and down and being quite amused by it. My mom took the pen from me and smacked me with it. She tehn gave it back to me. Of course I began to fiddle with it again. Thinking to be funny my mom hit the bottom of the pen causing the lid to fly over three benches. redface lol

Before my sister left, we had a whole side row to ourselves. At least once a sunday, during the songs, one of us would mess up, by word or by tune. Then we would look at each other, look up, tehn smile. At least one time we cracked up in giggles. Now it's been three years since we've gone to church together, but one sunday, I hear these other two sisters singing. The younger keeps saying one word wrong and the older, after two verses, corrects her. They have a small argument, and I can't help but to smile and remember all the times me and my sister messed up and laughed. whee

This didn't happen to me, but another one of my older sisters, Kris, said that one time during sacrament, she was sitting in the front rows of the over flow, and was given the bread. She axcedentally took two pieces of bread, and one fell into her mouth, and the other down her shirt. redface The guy infront saw it and so did her friends to the side. She didn't even look up at the guy in front of her, just stayd silent and waited for the water. After sacrament was over, she went to the bathroom and dug it out of her bra. She said it was very uncomfortable, but none of us could stop laughing one we heard it.

I just get annoyed when people are trying to be funny in sacrament meetings... I can understand accidents, but when it's something that can be controlled, I find it offensive. I'm not like a**l or anything, but I'm sensitive about sacred things, and the sarament is sacred, even though it's an "every Sunday" thing. I'm not perfect; there are times when I crack a smile and do my best not to laugh about somethings, but usually I'm trying to focus on the sacrament itself; Christ bled in the Garden and died on the cross to help us acheive Celestial glory, and not only are we renewing covenants, we're showing our reverence and gratitude to the Lord for that great and necessary sacrifice.

a little boy was "sharing" his blankie with me before church started. Appearently he doesn't ever let anyone touch it. Well, during the Sacrament he took the blanket and threw it at me, except it got hooked over the head of the elderly Brother sitting next to him.

I had to fake a coughing fit to the bathroom. By then I was crying with mirth.

Bro. C was sitting behind me and I was idley watching his young daughter who's four( she's so cute!) Anyways he took the cup for sacrament and after drinking it dropped it into the tray.....Well he meant to but it bounced off the tray and fell into Sis. C's book bag. So in the middle of sacrament you hear this rustling of them trying to get the sacrament cup out of the bag. It gave me a bad case of the giggles.

Here's a more cute one. Brother something or other was giving his talk and he finished with his testimony. After he was done and was going to sit down a little boy, his son, stood up and clapped really loudly. whee

OK. It has taken me most of my life to accept that my older sister listens better during Sacrament Meeting if her hands are otherwise occupied. ((You'd better believe it, because I often quiz her on the talks afterwards.)) Well, she usually occupies her hands with her art. ((She's enrolled at the Art INstitute right now, and is in class as we speak.)) Her mind is totally detatched from what she's drawing, or at least mostly so. The only problem is that I'm continually distracted by whatever she's drawing. And I'll often have to stifle a giggle, or choke down a laugh.

I'd put some of the things that I've laughed at up, but they're mostly part of her to-be-published work, so . . .

Here's part of a Furry comic strip she did. It probably won't seem as funny to you, because the characters all represent members of my family. THat's what makes it funny to me.

The tiger is Amascus(Blue_Elf), and the fox is Sunder(Torvelion).

This happened this past week! A guy was giving his talk and he told one side and the first two people in the rows next to that side, to stand up. He then said that we were the one third cast out of heaven. I couldn't stop giggling. Then he said(I think he heard me) say that he wasn't quite sure if our side woyuld be the ones cast out. It was really funny if you were there.

One time a brother in the ward got up to sing, the song went well, the funny part was that after he finished his sons (ages 2 and 1) gave him a standing ovation. it was cute.

This is bad. Today, when I drank the water for sacrement, some water spilled on my hand. This thought came to mind, "Oh my gosh, I have blood on my hands." I know, not funny.

I actually have something to contribute!

OK, after formal dances, it's tradition for my friends and I to wear our dresses to church the next day. Well, it was the day after prom, and I had a poofy dress. This little boy I babysat for came crawling over to me (his family was like 2 rows up). He started pawing at my dress, and all of a sudden lifted it up with his hands. I quickly smacked my dress down, and had the hardest time not laughing. My Mia Maid teacher (well, I was a Laurel at this time, but ya know), was sitting next to me, and she also saw what happened. Her husband saw us trying not to laugh, and goes "Am I going to have to separate you two?" It was funny.
